“Dara I-I” Jiyong stuttered “I think I’ve finally found the right girl for me” 

Dara’s heart immediately dropped, this was not what she planned

”Her name is Kiko, she’s Japanese but she can speak Korean very well and I don’t know, I just feel this connection with her” Jiyong continued as he gleemed 

‘Dara, dont tell him’ she thought after hearing how happy Jiyong was, with his new girl ‘But you have to tell him’ she continued debating in her head, and if she was being honest with herself she wanted to run away and cry

”D-Dara?”

”Oh sorry, I was just day dreaming becuase I’m a bit tired” Dara lied

”Oh okay, well would you like some soju?” Jiyong offered while holding up the bottle 

‘Jiyong if you knew what was growing inside of me you wouldn’t have offered’

”Uh, it’s okay I’m not in the mood to drink” she continued lying 

“Okay, well yea that was all I wanted to tell you because I feel like you deserve to know” 

“Why would I deserve to know? I mean like there was nothing going on between us, just casual ” she tried to shrug off, but was really hurting inside 

“Was that really how you felt?” Jiyong asked, looking somewhat disappointed 

“I mean, I guess” 

The truth was, that they both had developed some sort of feelings for each other but refused to acknowledge it and when this Kiko girl came along, Jiyong was infatuated becuase she was just like Dara, more like the Japanese version of her 

“Okay well then I guess there isn’t much to talk about anymore.....” Jiyong concluded 

“Yea, you’re right so I’m going to get going now becuase I have to meet up with Bom” Dara said as she quickly picked up her bag and walked out, leaving Jiyong feeling cold and confused
