A Brief Introduction

I'll try to make this as straightfoward as possible. This is another one of those writing contests you see once in a while. The rules and basic structure of this contest will be described belowwwwwwwwww. 

The idea of this was based on Epik High's song "Pieces of You". The song is incredibly beautiful. 

Prompts

YOU MAY MAKE YOUR OWN POSTERS. IT'S NOT NECESSARY TO USE THESE PROMPTS. JUST LOOKING AT ANY PART OF THE LYRICS IN EPIK HIGH'S SONG "PIECES OF YOU" OR TIJON'S NIGHTMARE IS OKAY. 

 

Things to Take Note of

1) The deadline is June 1, 2012. 
2) The entry can be anywhere from 100 to 100,000 words (or 1 to 7 chapters). You don't have to follow both criteria; it's one or the other.
3) If you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
4) You must put the prompt pictures on your entry.
5) Post the entry here on AFF and send me the link below in the comments by the deadline listed above.
6) Write in your entry that your story is for "Pieces of You Writing Contest" or something of the sort, and give the link. 
7) You can choose the characters in your story.
8) /Yuri couples ARE allowed. Rated stories (for anything) ARE allowed.  You may also use original characters. 
9) If you don't follow any one of these rules, you will be automatically disqualified. 
10) If you ask me a question that I have already stated the answer to in here, you will be disqualifed. Read this carefully!
11) I did not make up the quotes used in the prompts. The first two prompts' quotes were from "Pieces of You" by Epik High (South Korean; the translated lyrics were taken from here. The last prompt was taken from thte song "Nightmares" by Tijon (American). 
12) I will not grade on a specific rubric. The stories will be filtered through; the ones that are better in my opinion will pass. There will be three rounds of filtering through all of them. 
13) There will be four places for the winners: 1st place - Platinum; 2nd place - Gold; 3rd Place - Silver; 4th place - Bronze. There will be 20 honorable mentions (or more if I deem it necessary).
