Yoona is a bubbly lady whose always the approachable and friendly type kind of manager while Jessica isn’t. Jessica is the complete opposite of Yoona.

Even with their difference in nature, the two fell in love with each other and confessed up their feelings towards each other one summer night.

However, they’re lowkey with their relationship.

“Private but not secret” Jessica would always tell Yoona

Two years passed and they were able to keep things the way it is, privately, even though many doubts came in between. It is more on Yoona, since she doesn’t get why Jessica wants their relationship to be private when she would scream it out loud when she have the chance to.

Not to help that Jessica is always linked to the handsome guys in the office.

“I can’t go home early today, we have a night out” Yoona sent Jessica a message before work hours ends and she’d be too preoccupied to do so. Not that Jessica hates it, she just want to let her other half to know so she wont starve to death nor wait in anticipation

“Idiot, do you think we work for different company?”

“How dare you call your goddess girlfriend like that?”

“Fiance.” Jessica corrected then replied again “Are you done working? As expected of you, when there’s a food involved, you finish early” with a thumbs up emoji

“Fiance or girlfriend, what difference does it make when you keep me in the shade?”

“Private, not Secret nor in a shade” Typical of Jessica. Yoona could only sigh.

Technically, Yoona proposed to Jessica during their 2nd anniversary. The wedding to take place next year

“Meet me at the stairs” She finally replied back in commanding manner

“Can’t we really do that?” Yoona was pouting as she clung unto Jessica’s arm while the other is interlocked dearly

“Yoong, no” Jessica wasn’t pissed nor angry, she answered it in the softest way possible

“Why not? We’ll get married soon, and they know us for a long time already”

“Why does their acknowledgement means so much to you?”

“Do I really matter to you?”

“Idiot, I’m wearing your ring” Sniggered Jessica but Yoona sighed and pulled away from their touch

“Sica, you know, couples have their endearment, like ‘babe’ ‘baby’ ‘yam’ ‘honey’ and other, but idiot isn’t in the list. This ring?” She raised her hand up to stare at the ring sitting on her finger before scoffing as she takes it off and handing it over to Jessica “Return it when you’re done playing games with me. I’ll accept you, whatever the case. Just make sure that when you return it, I’m Yoona the Fiance and not Yoona the idiot”

“Yoong!” Jessica called with a frown but Yoona is quick on her feet to go out and head out with her officemates

The team have decided to dine out for their fruitful month. Despite the irate and stressful days, it was all worth it because the Boss have decided to top up their bonuses. And this dinner is just a partial of it.

Coincidental or not, Jessica would like to thank their manager for bringing them to a barbeque place and ordering free flowing beer.

Yoona was chugging bottles of cola instead. And Jessica is infuriated at the sight of that. Yoona has UTI, so she’d rather have the girl to drink beer/soju than cola. Not that alcohol is any better, but at least it will slow her down once the alcohol reaches her system.

“What a weird combo,” She heard Tiffany, the clingy officemate of Yoona “Jjampong and Rib eye steak with cola? Come on, eat the most expensive meat. It’s our cheat day – to pig out for free!”

“This idiot” Both frowns at the sight of each other from another table, witnessing each other take what isn’t good for them; Yoona rebelling with her UTI, and Jessica intaking alcohol fast and more than she could take.

“Wah, if I were a stranger, I would think that you’re married already” one of her officemates remarked as she points to the engagement ring

“Is Sica finally tying the knot?” Some curiously asked jokingly “I wonder what’s her type”

“Someone like Taecyeon?” One dared to tease that causes coos from the others. Yoona is burning in anger.

Yoona scoffed when the laughter died down “Ms. Jessica getting married?” then smirked “She’s colder than the ice, who would dare?”

Laughter filled the place again.

“Yah,” Jessica suddenly stood up staggering as the alcohol rushes up to her system

She knows her too well. Jessica can be wild when she’s drunk. To the point that her sister abandons her after making sure that she is all slumped down to her bed.

“I’m not expressive, I’m not as sweet, but I love” She smirked as her face turns redder due to mix of embarrassment and alcohol effect “I love you, crazily”
