A story inspired by the video that happened about 6 or 7 years ago where SNSD won a big award and Jessica and Tiffany were seen at the very back hugging while accepting an award. I wrote a story of what might have happened after their sweet encounter.

Before it sinks in, the two started drifting apart.

They did not know what happened. Jessica did not know what happened. They were still far better than okay the day before. They were still the very well-known American duo when they came home. The members didn't have a clue of why Tiffany was acting like that.

They just woke up the next day with Tiffany in her unusual behavior. She interacted with the others, but she certainly ignored one.

What happened?

They were desperate to know the reason behind the eye-smile girl's behavior. Jessica tried. She tried to talk to her. The older girl tried her best but the other girl dodged them with hollow smiles and excuses. No words, just expressions. Empty expressions. When she tried to hold onto Tiffany's arm, the mentioned girl trembled. That was when the others understood the whole situation.

Jessica froze. Her heart trying to hold onto its pieces. There was a knot in her stomach. She already knew the reason behind her friend's actions, but she didn't want to believe in them. With the younger girl flex action towards her though just proved the uncertainty in Tiffany's undefined actions.

Was it because of the hug? 

I tried to hold her other arm, desperate to know if my predictions might be mistaken. But to no avail, the younger girl once again retracted her other arm as she looks away. 

It is because of the hug.

"Tiffany."

The other members left them alone as they knew that they were not in the position to meddle with the two members problems. The said-girl looked down and retracted the arm that was in the older girls hold from her. She looked into Jessica's face and immediately regrets it.

Within Jessica's deep brown orbs, Tiffany saw the sorrow
