A very short one-shot heavily inspired by the song Holding On For You by Liberty X. I was listening to this song last night and the idea came by. This is for my writing practice, since I'm rusty and lazy lol (forgive me if it's nowhere near good). So .... here goes!

Another day passes by, Irene still lingers around the train station. Contemplating, waiting, hesitating. She is in a battle with herself, fighting whether to stay and wait; or to move on and let go. This has been her daily routine for the past three weeks ever since she woke up at 3am to an empty bed, with only a text saying "I'll be home soon, I'm sorry and I love you". She has been going back and forth to the train station they both always take to go everywhere. The train station that witnessed their first encounter, the train station that witnessed their first date, the train station that witnessed their first kiss, the very train station that witnessed how Wendy got down on one knee and proposed to her. Irene has no tears left to cry, no one knows how she cries herself to sleep every night after calling and calling Wendy's number only to be met with no answer. It seems like Wendy disappeared without a trace. No matter how frustrated she is with the situation, she still waits for Wendy to return.
