You and Gianna (your friend) are sitting at a little two person table in a little retro cafe in Riverside {California}. You both are sipping passion fruit and strawberry iced tea and have a small box of macaroons.

 

Gianna: So, what’d you get on the exam?

 

Y/N: I got a A, what’s you get?

 

Gianna: An A- *(minus)*

 

Y/N: We did good, didn’t we?

 

Gianna nods. She sips the last of her tea.

 

Gianna: Shall we go?

 

Y/N: Yeah, sure. I’ll just take my tea and the macaroons with me.

 

You both get up. Gianna grabs her purse and you put on your mini backpack. You pick up your drink and keep your phone in your other hand. You guys say a thanks to the employees at the cafe and step outside. A light breeze brushes against your guy’s faces. You and Gianna link arms and talk.

 

Gianna: Do you think we’ll ever meet BTS?

 

Y/N: I don’t think so, but, I mean, we gotta stay optimistic, ya know?

 

Gianna nods. A guy is running past you. He crashes into you guys. You drop your drink and spills it all over yourself and him. You accidently drop the macaroons on the floor.

 

Y/N: Oh my gosh!! I am SOOO sorry!!!

 

The guy stops and looks back. He has a black hoodie that’s covering his face. He’s wearing black jeans and Timberlands. He kinda looks up.

 

???: No, I’M sorry!! I was the one who bumped into you and spilled your drink!!

 

He lifts his hood up a little, and you finally see his face. You gasp. And wouldn't you know it, right while you guys were talking about meeting BTS.

 

Y/N: JUNGKOOK????!!!!!!

 

The guy looks up and gives you a crooked grin.

 

???: Um..yup! That’s me!!

 

You cover your mouth. By now, you're hyperventilating.

 

Jungkook: Are you a fan..?

 

You nod. Gianna is just standing there in shock. You remember what has just happened and looked in your backpack for some napkins. You find some and hand Jungkook a few. You take your napkins and wipe up what you could of the tea that spilled on your shirt and jeans. Jungkook does the same. After you two clean up, Gianna speaks up (finally!!).

 

Gianna: So..wow!! You’re.. Jungkook.. but where're your hyungs?

 

Jungkook: Um...well...we were running away from some crazed fans and we..uh...kinda got seperated…

 

Gianna nodded.

 

Jungkook: Well, you know my name. What are your names?

 

Y/N: My name is Y/N.

 

Gianna: Mine is Gianna.

 

Jungkook nods and shakes your hands.

 

Jungkook: It’s very nice to meet you. Now, if this isn’t too much to ask, do you guys think you could help me find my hyungs? Please?

 

You glance at Gianna and she nods.

 

Y/N: That’s not a problem at all.

 

You walk along in between Gianna and Jungkook. You look around and first find Suga (Min Yoongi) hiding in an alley. Him and Jungkook fistbump

 

Jungkook (in Korean): Yo, bro!! Finally found you!!

 

Suga (in Korean): I see you did, unfortunately. Who are these two girls here?

 

Jungkook (in Korean): These two girls are Gianna *gesturing to Gianna* and Y/N *gesturing to you*

 

You blush and wave. Gianna smiles and waves.

 

Suga (in Korean, to Jungkook): That one’s shy *looking at you* isn’t she?

 

Jungkook shrugs.

 

Suga: Why don’t you guys help us find the rest of BangTan

 

Gianna: Sure!!

 

You guys are walking again, and after about 45 minutes, you guys finally find the rest of BTS. Gianna starts to squeal when she sees RM (Kim Namjoon) and rushes up to him.

 

Gianna: OMG NAMJOONIEEEE!!!!

 

You smack your forehead and shake your head. RM’s laughing and gives Gianna a hug.

 

RM: I love meeting ARMYs that love me, for once.

 

Gianna lightly swats his arm

 

Gianna: Don’t say that!! Everyone loves you and you’re the best leader a band could ask for.

 

Y/N: It’s true

 

RM looks and you and smiles.

 

RM: Thanks, you guys. I haven’t met ARMYs like you until now.

 

You greet all the members and give them a hug-with their permission. You then walk over to Jungkook.

 

Y/N: Um..hi!

 

Jungkook: Hey!

 

Y/N: Um..this is really awkward but I just want to tell you that you’re my bias.

 

Jungkook: That’s awesome. You’re my bias as well!!

 

You blush.

 

Y/N: But I’m not in a girl group, or band, or anything.

 

Jungkook: Says who?

 

You laugh.

 

Y/N: You’re funny.

 

Jungkook: I’m not joking. Let’s get you into a KPOP girl group. How old are you?

 

You’re still in shock, but you tell him anyways.

 

Y/N: I’m 17 years old..

 

Jungkook: And you’re Korean, yes?

 

You nod.

 

Y/N: But, I’m also Egyptian, French, and Chinese…and other stuff that I don't know about.

 

Jungkook: That’s fine

 

He walks over to his hyungs.

 

Jungkook (in Korean): Let’s get Y/N into a girl group. She’s Korean, and she’s 17; a perfect age to start being a trainee. Plus, she's really pretty. They'll probably accept her right away.

 

You laugh because it's funny that little Golden Maknae Jungkook is taking charge.

 

Jimin (in Korean): But..how do you know she can even sing and dance?

 

J-Hope (in Korean): Well, we can take her to our dance practice room in LA and see how she does and what he knows. Then, she can audition for a company.

 

Jimin nods.

 

Jimin (in Korean): Okay, fine. That’s makes sense. What about the other girl?

 

Jin (in Korean): She can come with us and watch her friend.

 

Jungkook (in Korean): Okay, plan set.

 

He walks over to you and asks you if you can come to the studio.

 

Y/N: How long will it take?

 

Jungkook: Maybe 1-2 hours.

 

Y/N: I’ll have to call my mom though

 

Jungkook: That’s fine. Do what you have to do.

 

You call your mom. She agrees.

 

Y/N: My mom said okay.

 

Jungkook (in Korean): Okay, hyungs. Her mom said yes. Let’s go!!

 

You and Gianna follow the boys.

 

You arrive at their studio about 15 minutes later. All 9 of you enter and you go a room.

 

Jimin: Okay, let’s see what you can do.

 

Y/N: Is this, like, a audition or something?

 

Jimin: Yes.

 

You nod and laugh a little nervous laugh. You go in front of Gianna and the boys. You choose a song: “Kiss and Make Up” by Dua Lipa and BLACKPINK. You sing a bit of the English part, then quickly go on to the Korean verse.

 

Y/N: “We haven't talked all morning

You stop and look up at BTS and Gianna. Gianna’s clapping and BTS is just staring at you in awe. Jungkook stands up.

 

Jungkook: We HAVE to have her audition for a company.

 

Jimin (in Korean): But we haven’t seen her dance.

 

Jungkook: Can you dance, Y/N?

 

You nod.

 

Y/N: A little

 

Jungkook: Show us what you got.

 

You think about when you took dance lessons. You remember some moves and get into the ready position. Then, you decided to do the DNA dance moves to surprise them. It took you a little while, but you finally got the moves just right. You get in the starting position and get right to it.

‘Okay..foot moves like that...hands go like that...slide back a little...do V’s part like that…’ You think as you dance across the wooden floor. Before you know it, you’re gliding like a bird. You end the dance with a flourish. This time, Gianna and BTS stand up clapping and whistling.

 

J-Hope: She can do the DNA choreography better than me!! And, like, I practiced for hours!!

 

Jungkook looks over at Jimin.

 

Jungkook (in Korean): See? I told you she was hella talented.

 

Jimin (in Korean): You proved me wrong this time..good job.

 

Then, Jimin turns to you and shakes your hand.

 

Jimin: Looks like you’re going to a company!!!

 

You grin.

 

Y/N: Thanks, guys.

 

You fly to South Korea to audition for JYP Entertainment about 2 weeks later.

 

You’re sitting in JYP Entertainment’s waiting room.

 

Receptionist (in Korean): Y/N?

 

Y/N (in Korean): That’s me!!

 

You breath, a little nervous.

 

You follow the lady to a room. She gestures for you to go inside. You go, and she closes the door behind you. There’s three judges sitting at a table on the other side of the room; Yang Hyun-suk, Seo Taiji, and Park Jin-young. You nod to them.

 

Yang Hyun-suk (in Korean): What is your name and what will you be singing and dancing for us?

 

Y/N (in Korean): My name is Y/N and I will be singing ‘Kiss and Make Up’ by Dua Lipa and BLACKPINK, and I will be doing BTS’s DNA choreography

 

Park Jin-young: Good luck Y/N.

 

Seo Taiji and Yang Hyun-suk say the same thing.

 

You take a deep breath and start singing and dancing. AFter about 2 minutes, you finish with a high note. You take a breathe and look back at the judges. They’re staring at you with a pretty impressed look on their faces. They then huddled together and started talking. They looked back at you.

 

Seo Taiji (in Korean): Well, I think you’re going to become part of a girl group, or become a solo singer..your choice. But we need to see Park Jin-young and Yang Hyun-suk’s opinions.

 

Jin-young (in Korean): I say yes

 

Hyun-suk (in Korean): I agree,

 

You jump up and down and squeal.

 

Y/N (in Korean): Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!!

 

5 weeks later, after they discussed your training years and stuff

 

You’re sitting on your couch in your house. Your mom is upstairs. You get a call.

 

Y/N: Hello?

 

???: Yes, it’s Jin-young. We have decided for you to become a trainee in the group RO5E with the other trainees Kim Seo-yun, Kim Ji-woo, Kim Ha-yoon, and Min-seo. Okay? We need you to come to South Korea immediately do start training. Your time as trainee shall be 2 years because we see that you have much talent, therefore you don’t need a lot of practice. Okay?

 

Y/N (in Korean): Yes, sir. Will do.

 

Jin-young (in Korean): Great. See you!!

 

Y/N (in Korean): Bye!

 

You hang up and go to your room.  

 

Y/N: Mom, I got accepted as a trainee in RO5E. I have to start packing. I have to leave immediately. It’s for 2 years.

 

Your mom: Aw, okay sweetie. Congratulations!

 

You go to your room and pack everything. You look at the time. It’s 10:12 pm. Your mother appears in the doorway.

 

Your mom: Y/N!! I suggest you get to bed now. You have to get to the airport early tomorrow.

 

Y/N: Okay, mom. Good night!!

 

Your mom: Good night, hon

 

You brush your teeth, wash your face, and change into your pj’s.

 

The next morning

 

You wake up to your alarm ringing. You lean over and smack your alarm and rub your eyes. You sit up and throw aside your covers. You make your bed and head downstairs. Your mom is making eggs.

 

Y/N: Hi, mom

 

Your mom: Hi sweetie!! Big day today, huh?

 

You nod. You have a seat at the kitchen table as your mom hands you a plate of scrambled eggs. You pick up the fork and dig in. You finish your eggs about 10 minutes later. You look at the time. It’s 8:00 am.

 

Y/N: Mom, it’s 8:00, should I get ready to go to the airport?

 

Your mom: It’s 8:00 already???! Oh yeah, sweetie, go get ready

 

You run upstairs and get your enormous suitcase (because, um, you’re gonna need clothes for 2 years). You then change into:

 

Top/Shirt: Oversized faded camo t-shirt

 

Bottom/Pants: Gym shorts

 

Shoes: Nikes

 

Hair: Two braids with a few bangs out

 

Face/Accessories: Round retro glasses

 

You tie up your last braid and grab your suitcase. You try to be as careful as possible while you haul the suitcase down the stairs.

 

Y/N:  I’m ready to go, mom!!

 

Your mom comes around the corner.

 

Your mom: Oh, sweetie!! I can’t drive you to the airport! I have an emergency meeting in 20 minutes.

 

You frown.

 

Y/N: That’s too bad.

 

You give her a big hug and give her a kiss on the cheek.

 

Your mom: You’ll get an Uber, okay?

 

Y/N: Okay.

 

You call an Uber and it arrives 10 minutes later. You give your mom one last give hug.

 

Y/N: Bye, mom!! I’ll call you! I’ll miss you!!

 

Your mom: I’ll miss you too, Y/N.

 

You put your suitcase-with the help of the Uber driver- in the back of the Uber and get in. You wave to your mom until she’s out of sight.

 

Uber driver: Where ya headed?

 

Y/N: LAX please

 

She nods.

 

Uber driver: Going anywhere special?

 

Y/N: Um..yeah! I’m going to South Korea to be a trainee for the KPOP girl group RO5E.

 

Uber driver: That’s awesome! My younger sister LOVES KPOP.

 

You and the Uber driver talk for a little longer, then you arrive at the airport. You hand her the money and get the suitcase out of the trunk. You say your thanks and walk through the double doors. You wish Gianna were here too say good-bye. Your phone all of a sudden dings. It’s a text from Gianna.

 

Gianna (through text): Hey, good luck!!

 

Y/N (through text): Thanks!! <3

 

Gianna (through text): <3

 

You go to the Air Seoul airline line and wait. You finally get to the bag checking. You give the man your passport and give him your bag. You watch as it goes through the little "door" contraption thingie. He gives you back your passport.

 

Guy at bag checkout: Have a nice trip

 

Y/N: Thanks!

 

You then follow the arrows and go through security. You fiddle around until it’s time to board your plane. You board the plane and relax.

 

12 hours and 26 minutes later, you arrive in South Korea.

 

You get off the plane. You look around for Jungkook. He said he was going to pick you up from the airport. You finally spot a guy with a hoodie on.

 

Y/N: Jungkook!!!

 

The guy looks up and heads over to you. You give him a hug and he hugs you back. You then link arms and head over to the van with all of BTS inside.

 

BTS: Ayyee!!!! Hey, Y/N!!!!

 

Y/N: Hiiii guys!!!!

 

You give them each as much of a hug as you can in a car. You drive to JYP Entertainment’s studio.

 

V (Kim Taehyung) looks over at you.

 

V: Looks like this is it. I think you’ll do amazing as a trainee.

 

Y/N: Thanks, V. You’re the best.

 

All of you guys get out the car and stand in front of the studio. You give each of them a hug.

 

Y/N: It’s a good company, right? It takes care of it’s trainees and band members, right?

 

Jin: Yup, it’s one of the best companies in Korea/\.

 

You smile.

 

Y/N: Well, see you guys later!!!

 

BTS: Bye!!

 

You enter with your huge suitcase and go to the front desk.

 

Y/N (in Korean): Hi, I’m Y/N and I’m supposed to be a trainee for RO5E.

 

Receptionist (in Korean): Welcome. The other band members are in the room down the hall on your left.

 

Y/N (in Korean): Okay, thank you!!

 

You follow the lady’s instructions and open the door cautiously.

 

Y/N (in Korean): Hello…?

 

You enter the room slowly and there are four super pretty girls in the middle dancing. The girls look up at you and stop. One of the girls speaks up.

 

??? (in Korean): May we help you?

 

Y/N (in Korean): Um...hi! I’m Y/N and I’m here to be a trainee for the girl group RO5E.

 

??? (in Korean): Oh, hi!! I’m Kim Seo-yun. It’s nice to meet you, Y/N.

 

Y/N: Thanks. It’s nice to meet you too.

 

All of the girls then introduce themselves.

 

??? (in Korean): I’m Min-seo.

 

??? (in Korean): I’m Kim Ji-woo.

 

??? (in Korean): And I’m Kim Ha-yoon.

 

Y/N: It’s nice to meet you guys!

 

They say the same to you.

 

Seo-yun (in Korean): So, I’m kinda the leader here. We’re practicing for our debut song, Kick-.

 

Y/N: Okay.

 

They tell you the basics and you get practicing with them.

 

2 years later, you’re done being a trainee and you and the other trainees have debuted in RO5E!

A few weeks later...

 

You and Jungkook are sitting at a little restaurant in Busan. It’s his birthday and you’re spending dinner with him. The rest of BTS is out shopping. No matter how much you wanna join them, you’re going to stay with Jungkook.

 

Y/N: So, Jungkook, how does it feel to be 23?

 

Jungkook: Good. How does it feel to be 19?

 

Y/N: Good, good. I’m 2 years away from being a legal adult!!

 

Jungkook high fives you. You guys chat for a little while while you finish dinner. You grab your stuff and go outside.

 

Y/N: Oh, there's a little breeze, love that!

 

Jungkook: Yup, that’s Busan!!

 

You guys link arms and head to the little overview of the ocean.

 

Y/N: Ugh, you are SO lucky, Jungkook!! It must’ve been magical growing up in Busan!!

 

Jungkook: Actually, it was. Everyday, in summer, me and my friends would go out and swim in the ocean.

 

Y/N: Lucky. In California, it was kinda boring because when I was a kid, it wasn’t really safe to go outside alone with your friend without an adult. It’s even worse, nowadays.

 

Jungkook: Yeah..it’s sad. But now, you’re almost an adult and you get to go anywhere you want with me!!

 

You two laugh. All of a sudden, Jungkook takes you into a hug and gives you a quick kiss. He then continues to hug you. You hug him back.

 

Jungkook: You’re the best friend a person could ask for, but I kinda wanna be more than just best friends. I've kinda had a little crush on you the first time I met you

 

You feel the same way, but you’ve just always been shy about admitting your feelings. Though, it hadn't been hard when you were a kid and you talked to your friend about Jungkook being your husband. Now that you know Jungkook feels the same way-though you never would have thought he would- you feel comfortable.

 

Y/N: Honestly, I do too.

 

Jungkook pulls you into a another hug.

 

Jungkook: Does this mean can be I can be your boyfriend?

 

Y/N: I don’t see why not!!

 

You turn and face the ocean. The sun is setting causing the ocean to look like an orange-blue color.

 

Y/N: It’s beautiful.

 

Jungkook: Not as beautiful as you. Your love is the best birthday present I’ve ever received, except, for, maybe, the Louis Vuitton bag, Jimin gave me.

 

You swat his arm and laugh. You then give him the biggest bear hug you’ve ever given someone.
