RP DRAMA LOVERS

I’ve been rping for quite a while now and I do have friends who run rps or simply join several of them. And let’s face it, every RP has a drama queen or a trouble maker. So here’s just a few reminders in case you want to join an rp.

• Respect
  • Respect your muse and the admins. If you’re going to be a total jerk, do it in your personal account. Don’t hide behind your face claim and give them a bad reputation. If it’s AU, it’s understandable. But if you’re in a NON-AU RP, the least you can do is try to act the way you see your idol on screen.
  • Admins work hard on building an RP, at least respect all the things they’ve done by being decent people and not cause them any pain in the .
  • In most RPs today, it’s not like the old days where you play games and socialize. It’s about checking who is single and which OTP to make come true. Come on. Don’t just join to and make your OTP happen. Some people join to actually have fun and make friends. Don’t ruin it.

• Bullying
  • A majority of RPers are at the right age. Most of them are in their 20s so it baffles me to know how these ADULTS are the ones causing drama. Just think of it this way, 20 years from now you realize how much of a total douche you were to a person you met online just because of something petty.
  • You have no excuse bullying anyone. I have a friend who got bullied by a group of people just because she broke up with her rp partner. My friend and her partner left in good terms but the friends were such drama queens and attacked my friend. She eventually took down all her fb accounts and her aff as well thanks to these idiots.
  • Keep your nose out of someone else’s business. So your friend got into a fight with his rp partner and the first thing you do is go around telling everyone ONE SIDE of the story to hate on another person they have no concern with? No no no. If you don’t know the whole truth, shut up. It’s not your business and you have no right to bully anyone over something you don’t 100% know.

• Relationships
  • It’s quite obvious that when you get into a relationship in an rp, you feel some sort of attachment. Just like in real life, respect your partner. In real life, would you like to be cheated on? Would you like someone playing with your feelings? No. Treat people the way you want to be treated. If something is wrong, talk it out with your partner and not someone else.
  • Don’t waste your time on people who keeps on playing with your feelings. You’re rping to get away from the stress, not get more stressed out.
  • Don’t be manipulative. I’ve seen some who would deactivate their account just to watch their partner beg and cry for them to come back after a break up. I’ve also seen some who dump their partners then come back when said partner already has someone else and tries to get them back. Like bish, stop it. You left your partner and they found someone much better than you. Do the same and don’t cause drama.

So why am I saying all of these? Real life is too much to handle already. There’s school, work, family, and everything. It’s literally stressful already. RP IS OUR GETAWAY. It’s supposed to be a place of fun and socializing. Respect the admins who worked their off in giving us a home to stay in and please be mature and act your age. No one likes drama.
