“Hey Shin Hye! Look!” my brother and I were playing outside when he suddenly shouted while looking at the tree like it was his first time seeing one.

“What about it?” I asked while walking towards him.

“Don’t you see it? It’s beautiful Shin Hye. Tell me you see it.” He was looking at everything, the trees, the grass, the sun, the cars parked outside our neighbor’s house, my clothes, our house, then he looked at me expecting me to say I see it too.

“I don’t see anything Min Hyuk.” I said while looking around, double-checking if I had missed anything unusual.

“I don’t understand. It’s everywhere! Look!” he ran and picked up a fallen leaf and ran back to me. “Tell me what you see!” holding the leaf in front of my face.

“It’s a leaf. It’s shape is like what it is always shaped-like. There’s nothing unusual about it.” I replied.

“No! Look harder Shin Hye! You can’t possibly miss it.” He pushed the leaf into my face, scaring me.

I ran back to our house crying when I bumped into my father who was just walking out the door.

“Sweetie, what happened? Why are you crying?”

“Min Hyuk’s scaring me. He kept talking about something he can see but I can’t see it and he started pushing the leaf to me but I still can’t see it.” I cried to my father and he just hug me, listening to every word I say.

“Don’t worry. Maybe your brother is just teasing you and he crossed the line. Don’t worry, I’ll talk to him later but now maybe we can ge—“

Min Hyuk screamed. He screamed so loud both me and my father jumped and ran to where he is. When we got there, he was crying so hard, desperately looking for something. My father went and stopped him from what he was doing and when he looked at us, his eyes were full of panic.

“It’s gone”
