“What I’m asking you now.” Jimin sporting a “didn’t-heard-it-at-all-face”, utters. They were currently inside their shared apartment being cozy in sofa watching Netflix, ‘cause why not it’s Sunday. Lazy day. 

“But I’ve been talking here for almost an hour already!” Taehyung said through his broken sobs.

“You’re not talking you nugget you’re just sobbing there.” Jimin said nonchalant about his friend’s tantrums.

“B-but…”

Jimin looking down on his phone whispers lowly “And mom called again…” and a pitch higher of “Anyway, you done? Now talk.” Jimin encourages, although he has some matters to handle himself, seeing Taehyung—his friend for so long like that (though it was never a new scenario to him) he can’t resist him. Just because.

A mix of tantrums, sobbing and nonstop whining, Taehyung then continues. “As I was saying he was just messing with me. I saw him the other day with someone else and he just ignore me when we locked eyes…gahhh!”

“What was his name again? I can’t still remember who we’re talking about.” That is a fact. He really don’t know about this guy that Taehyung swoons since he has a lot but Jimin never met one of them. For the love of god.

“Jong-Jongguk-Son Jon-”  Well Taehyung mixing up snots and phlegm while trying to say the man’s name, the product will definitely not to be called a name if you’ll going to count the sobs in between those Jongs.

“Right like I’ll remember. You never introduce him to us and how long do you know him, 5 days? Six? 2 weeks?”

“It’s 3. Three weeks, you !” Taehyung spat back as if it will do a huge difference. 

The reasonable side of Jimin was now hanging by a thread. You can understand when you have a friend that is insistent on making his points clear in a pointless situation as this. It’s not like they’re in a real relationship yet Taehyung acts like it was and it makes Jimin boil to pit or just explode from frustration. It’s not just because of his friend throwing tantrums on him but also his parents that keeps on telling him to meet them because of some “important” matter. 

Maybe washing off some of his frustrations to Taehyung will help him. “See you barely know him but you’re crying like you knew all of him in forever! It’s only a month you !”

“But Jimin if you see him you’ll definitely cry like this!”

Disbelief run through Jimin’s face. How can he still find ways to defend this not so known guy that is not a boyfriend or any of the sort. “You’re nuts Tae. Just give it a rest okay? Tomorrow you’ll be a brand new person searching again for another specie to call yours.” An automatic line that Jimin tells when Taehyung’s reasonings are going nowhere that could worsen the situation or could disrupt peace between them. A line only when a guy is included to their argument though.

“I promise Jiminie. He’s this beautiful that I can’t even compare him to my collection of ties!”

They may have this kind of conversation many times wherein Taehyung will cry his lungs out due to some guy and Jimin will comfort him but Taehyung never do this. Jimin settles on his ground on making his friend stop his delusional phase. It’s just the cause of plenty of tears he shed, maybe particles of his sanity has filtered through with it that he said such things without thinking? “Definitely nuts. Wanna see a doctor? Psych?”

Uh oh. Taehyung’s serious and not joking about it at all. Seeing lines on those forehead is not a good sign. He’d seen it before but the most memorable was when he decline to go out and eat with him because of his unrealistic mindset of perfection on his dance recital. To make it short, he intends to have his diet, but in a more grave and harsh way. Taehyung doesn't like it.

“Fine! I believe you but stop swooning over him. He don’t deserve you. Come on lets go somewhere or maybe I’ll treat you to that ice cream parlor you love.” Jimin gave up. Taehyung deserves someone better. He’s so pissed to this man Taehyung crying on about. Maybe some sugar could help.
