“Where are you going hyung?” Kihyun asked when he saw Hyungwon was wearing his shoes

“Out looking for midnight snacks, want to jo - ah… never mind” Hyunwon stopped talking when he remembered something

“I want to join, I want to go out too!” Changkyun ran to Hyungwon 

“I’m sorry I don’t think you can join me this time” Hyungwon said with arms folded in front of his chest

“Why?!” Changkyun whined

“Because according to your ‘mother’ you are still have a little bit of cold and you are forbidden from going out side for the next few days” Hyungwon explained referring Kihyun as Changkyun’s mother

“But I’m fine!”

“Nope according to your ‘mother’” 

“I’m really fine!” Changkyun whined louder

“I’m so sorry Changkyunnie, I would love some company but I still love my life, you know how protective Kihyun hyung is about you, better not to disturb him” Hyungwon turned around was about to leave when he heard Changkyun muttering something

“I wish Kihyun hyung stop caring so much about me, I don’t like being spoiled by him” Hyungwon shrugged over what Changkyun said 

“Hope you really meant what you said” The taller guy said before he left Changkyun alone, both didn’t realise Kihyun was standing near them listening to their conversation

Kihyun was tidying up kitchen after prepared breakfast for the day when Changkyun went out from his room

“Hyung, where’s my breakfast?” Changkyun asked knew normally his share would be up on the table, he was surprised not to see green things on the table which Kihyun normally called it ‘a secret to be healthy juice’ especially when one of them just fell sick
“I have salad but it’s up to you, if you want you can grab whatever breakfast you think you like” Kihyun said to Changkyun while holding his bowl of salad

“You mean I can take chocolate cereal and not drinking the green juice?” Changkyun’s eyes were sparkling and Kihyun shrugged

“Up to you, it’s your life” Kihyun said before he left with his salad bowl to the living room where he usually take his breakfast while watching TV

“YESSSSS”

And Changkyun thought there was nothing wrong with that…

“Hyung can I go out?” Changkyun asked later on that day he knew his chance of succeed was less than 25% but he still tried anyway, so far Kihyun didn’t even bother him to do anything or cared about him

“Sure, why did you have to ask me, it’s your life, go on with it” Kihyun answered while vacuuming the living room tidying up the messy clothes s threw on that morning before they went out for their individual activities

“For real?” When Kihyun shrugged his shoulder again Changkyun beamed with happiness “YESSSSSSSS” and not even more than 5 minutes Changkyun already sprinted out from the dorm

“Was that Changkyun?” Hyunwoo asked when he just went out from the toilet

“Yeah…” Kihyun looked at the door suddenly feeling sad

“Did you just let him go out? I thought he still has cold?” Hyunwoo frowned when he noticed his boyfriend wasn’t the same as usual 

“Well… he told Hyungwon that I spoiled him so much and he hated it, so yeah now I give him the freedom to do whatever he wants and he looks happier, so I was wrong this whole time, I thought I’m right protecting him and the rest wanting the best for them…” Kihyun sighed, he walked closer and just let himself rest on Hyunwoo’s wide chest when the older stepped closer to him 

“It’s just a phase Kihyunnie, you know how bad we are without you, you’ve done well taking care of us even if you were tired, Changkyun might be a little edgy lately but sooner or later he will know how great you are as his ‘second mother’” Hyunwoo chuckled when Kihyun hit him on the arm

“I hope so though… I truly hope so…”

It felt weird, it was indeed weird, Changkyun felt there was something wrong whenever he wanted to do something without Kihyun supervision, he bet he gotten used to the way Kihyun treated him. And now when he was alone deciding everything alone it felt completely different, he felt there was a gap in his heart and he just felt really bad. He was coughing while playing bowling with Jooheon, and for a moment he had a thought Kihyun would’ve been there and yelled ‘I told you so! Don’t go out when you are sick!’ But it was just his imagination, suddenly he felt giddy and sad at the same time, God… did he just miss getting spoiled by Kihyun?

“You ok?” Jooheon asked when he returned to the seat and found Changkyun was pale while coughing “You shouldn’t go out… didn’t Kihyun hyung told you so?” When Changkyun shook his head Jooheon frowned “Did something happen in between you too? Well whatever it is I bet Kihyun hyung is worried sick right now thinking you are out here alone and it’s raining outside, I’ll call Hyunwoo hyung to fetch us, I don’t think you can walk I’m scared you will faint” Jooheon sighed when Changkyun remained silent, he took out his phone and dialled Hyunwoo’s number

“Hyung! Changkyun…”

“Do you think you can walk?” Hyunwoo asked with eyes filled with concern when he saw Changkyun’s pale face, Changkyun nodded weakly, with the remaining energy of his he looked up and found Kihyun was staring at him with worried plastered on his face

“Kihyun hyung I’m sorry” Changkyun whispered weakly and damn if it didn’t nearly brought tears into Kihyun’s eyes

“Don’t be…” Kihyun whispered, the 4 of them finally reached their manager’s car, Hyunwoo took the driver seat after making sure Changkyun lied down properly on the back seat with his head rested on Kihyun’s thigh while Jooheon took the passenger seat, Kihyun gave Changkyun his cold medicine with a bottle of water which without any question took by Changkyun, after he did it he rested his head again on Kihyun’s thigh seeking comfort from the way Kihyun brushing his hair gently

“I don’t mind to be spoiled by you hyung… I’m sorry for what I said” Changkyun whispered weakly and Kihyun tried his best not to smile widely

“Well… I told you so didn’t I?” Kihyun grinned before he relaxed himself the seat too with Changkyun safely rested in his ‘arms’
