As one of the "workers of the heaven" as stated by the society, Shiae could tell if someone was going to die within the range of 2-4 months; but not the exact date. She continued her duty, up until the day where everything was against her will.
Foreword
Brief information:
Shiae works for the Death Management Company (DMC), and visits earth every few months. Those who are expected to die within 2-4 can see her existence; others can't. Her job is to let them know before hand. The society knows that if someone is reporting to them about their near tragic date; it is fully aware that they work for the DMC, and you should believe it. Otherwise, the near dead would just see you as a normal human.
