Wendy P.O.V

I already knew something is wrong with seulgi, at first i thought she's really positive and bright, but there's one time she left her phone with me when we went out for shopping, i delivered it to her house that night and i noticed those red marks on her wrist that wasn't there earlier in the day time but i pretend like i didn't see anything because i think she's not ready to tell us anything. 

She have no idea how much i care for her .. i will call her almost every nights, hoping that my voice will distract her from overthinking. 

As days goes by, i develop feelings for her but i know she treat me as her sister/bestfriend and i don't want to ruin the friendship we have for so many years. I remember how she looked so shy and antisocial the first time i met her, i approached her and asked for her name, she just looked down to her shoes while mumbling 'seulgi' and i think she's really cute, that's why i decided to get closer with her. I really like seeing her smile but it'll be better if it's her real smile, i tried making her to open up to me but no.. she keep saying she's okay

Flashback

"Hey seul, you okay? you look so tired recently" wendy asked

"I'm fine wannie, thanks for your concern" seulgi flashed her bright smile 

"You know you can tell me anything right?" wendy smiled back 

"I know, but i'm really okay, don't worry" 

Wendy sighed as she really hope the girl will tell her more about herself

My heart hurts when i saw you looking at the new girl bae joohyun like she's the best thing on earth, that's when i realize how easy joohyun can make you smile for real, the smiles that i have never seen from you before .. how lovely and bright when you smile at her. I saw everything that you didn't know i noticed, even though it hurts but i'm so glad you found someone who manage to put on a real smile on your face.

I'm fine with being your bestfriend only, i just hope one day you will open up to me like you trust me. 

"Hey wannie, what are you thinking?" seulgi wave her hands infront of me then smiled cheerfully when she realize i'm back to my sense

"thinking about what to do, wanna hang out?" seulgi looked abit guilty 

"I'm sorry, i have plans with joohyun" 

Of course the girl will be busy with joohyun, she already told me about her 'first date' with joohyun at the cafe and it's the first time i see seulgi being so excited while talking about someone. I smiled bitterly as she continue talk about how joohyun feel the same as her and how joohyun looked so pretty when she smile. 

"No problem, you better not embarrass yourself " wendy teased

Seulgi pouted cutely "I won't, by the way, let's hang out tomorrow" 

"Sure, faster go find your joohyun, don't make her wait" wendy use her head to point at joohyun's direction who is standing few steps away from them

Seulgi looked over where wendy pointed and smile widely while waving like an idiot at joohyun "you look stupid",  wendy said

"whatever, i will see you tomorrow! you don't have to call me tonight because i will be going home late" seulgi get her bag then rushed her way to joohyun 

wendy smiled bitterly waving goodbye at both of them "well, at least i still have joy and yeri"
