Step by Step

It has been weeks since Mina ended her relationship with Sehun. Honestly it is very hard to read Her mind. She was so reserved and barely talked about Sehun anymore. Who would? After all the heartache, she deserves some kind of peace and tranquillity.

So many guys approached her during rehearsals and at the broadcast station but she responded to none. She smiles gentle and refuse to get close to any boys. Jihyo already warned the girls to not bring up about Sehun and to let her heal in her own way. Where ever Mina goes, Chaeyoung or Sana will always be there with her.

During MAMA 2017, Twice was grateful that they were performing in Japan and EXO wouldn’t be in attendance. Although Sana and Jihyo would love to meet their boyfriend, they understood that Mina needed the time to heal. Jihyo was glad a little smile re Mina’s face.

MMA 2017

The girls were practicing in the room diligently for their MMA performance. Their schedules in 2017 has been so tight that they barely have any room to breathe. As the girls slumped on the floor, Nayeon eyed Jihyo to start the conversation.

JHO: Minari…

MN: Uhm….

JHO: MMA is approaching. You know we will be meeting EXO. I was wondering what you actually feel about that.

MN: Honestly?... I think I will be okay.

JYG: Really?

CYG: Do you think you will not be able to handle it?

MN: Ani, we are both in this field. It would be a lie to say I would feel nothing. But I don’t think I cannot handle looking at him.

SN: You sure?

MN: Don’t worry, I am stronger than you think.

CYG: I just don’t want you to feel uncomfortable.

MN: The break-up was amicable despite it stemming up from reasons I don’t like. However, how can I hate someone to the core when I have loved him once. (Mina fessed up honestly to her members.)

SN: I am glad you felt that way.

MM: Just hang on to us when you feel like seeing him affects you.

MN: Ara….

The red carpet is due soon. Artist normally have to gather and line up according to their entrance. Mina understood that very soon, she will see the man who hurt her. She accepted the fact and hopes to be strong.

NY: Mina ah, your cleavage is very ermmmm y.

MN: Nah it’s fine, its different from what I usually wear but its pretty.

CYG: Hahhaha the other male idols eyes will pop when they see you. (The girl teases Mina.)

JHO: You look lovely, but are you okay?

Mina held Jihyo’s hand gently and gave an assuring grip. As the girls were busy taking selfie and all, slowly, they could here the BTS and EXO entering the waiting hall as well. The girls started chatting with the BTS boys because they looked super exhausted.

MM: Chukahae BTS Sunbaenim. You guys were explosive in the US.

NJ: Kamsahamida…

Sana couldn’t help but smiled cheekily to her sulky boyfriend. He just shaved his head for a role that he is acting in. He however felt a little too embarrassed to show Sana his round head. She gave him a kind and reassuring smile but he pouts like a baby. Junmyeon on the other hand did not hide the fact that he misses Jihyo. He daringly made small gestures and finger hearts to Jihyo who couldn’t help but laugh as she sees his playful self.

Sehun saw Mina. She is still the beautiful Mina that he loves. He wanted to approach her but she has been standing next to Momo who was talking to BTS Namjoon and Jimin. He has been staring at Mina and he wondered if she is purposely avoiding all eye contact with him. Sehun wasn’t too happy to see them standing close to each other. Selfishly he was thankful that Mina wasn’t talking to the boys at all. He tried to come into her view but she either looks down or somewhere else. By the time EXO walks the red carpet, Sehun looks angry. Junmyeon gave him a piece of his mind when Sehun wasn’t behaving professionally.

After the red carpet, while waiting in their respective room, Jihyo and Sana had to hatch a couple of plans to meet their boyfriends. However, it seems that the hallway was busy and full of people walking up and down and meeting their respective partner now isn’t a good idea.

While waiting for an opportunity, Sana texted Kyungsoo who pouted the last time she saw him.

SN: Oppa… wei gurei? You pouted when you see me. Aren’t you happy to see me?

DO: You know I am always happy to see you and you also know why I pouted.

SN: But I love your head whether its full of your hair of not.

DO: Ara… but I wish you don’t have to see me like this... so ugly and not handsome.

SN: You are handsome in my eyes and heart…. I love all of you no matter if your head has hair or not.

DO: Really…

Kyungsoo was smiling to himself as he texted Sana. Sehun came and sat beside him. Sehun couldn’t understand how Kyungsoo and Sana could really smile and work hard in their relationship. He has yet to learn the meaning of waiting, sacrifice and hope.

SH: Does texting with Sana makes you that happy? (Sehun asked genuinely startling Kyungsoo who was in his own world.)

DO: Neh… She makes me happy and I love her too much.

SH: Don’t you get pissed off when you don’t get to meet her?

DO: Ani, why should I be pissed? There are many ways of staying in touch. So far we haven’t exhausted any of the methods that helps us stay together. (Kyungsoo explained to Sehun.)

SH: Don’t you think meeting once or twice a month or even once in two months a bit tedious?

DO: Hun-ah, all relationship needs hard work. Being in EXO, isn’t it tiring too at times? Do we give up? Do you want to leave EXO? No right, why cant relationships with our girlfriend be like that as well.

SH: Well… I really don’t know what to say.

DO: One day, when you meet the one, maybe you will understand. Maybe Mina is not the one that is why you aren’t willing to work for the relationship. It is sad for Mina… but oh well…

SH: It is sad for me too hyung.

DO: I guess… but you have to understand that you are the one who broke her heart. So it was harder for her.

Sehun couldn’t rebut Kyungsoo’s words. He sat on the sofa sinking himself in his thoughts. Jongdae on the other hand was busy texting Chaeyoung.

JD: Chaeng, your suit looking dress looks good on you.

CYG: Gurei… I didn’t think I look pretty though.

JD: Have confidence Chaeng, you are beautiful.

CYG: Gomawo oppa… you are the first guy to say that to me.

JD: Of course I have to be the first.

CYG: But why?

JD: Ani… never mind. How’s Mina? Sehun is beside me now looking like an idiot.

CYG: Mina unnie is quiet as usual. We all unanimously agreed to let her be. She is healing.

JD: That is good to hear. Chaeng…

CYG: Bogoshipo…

Chaeyoung couldn’t believe when she saw the words on the screen. She kept on checking if it was Jongdae’s number. Before she could reply his text, she has to keep her phone away. Now Jongdae is worried if his words shocked the girl. He grew restless when she did not reply his text. Before entering the concert hall, Jongdae quickly approaches Chaeyoung.

JD: You saw my text didn’t you?

CYG: What text? I didn’t have time but kept my phone. Is it very important? (She lied but very unconvincingly.)

JD: Chaeng, did anyone tell you that you were a very bad liar? (He playfully asked.)

By the time he wanted to out her pretence, everyone was ushered to the main area. Exo was seated at the back and Twice were a few seats in the front. Jihyo make sure to seat herself with Mina to be the source of encouragement for her member. It was hard for Sehun to see BTS staring lovingly at Twice.

“Isn’t her dress especially the front part too low?” he thought to himself. He knows he has no right to feel jealous. However this feeling he is feeling isn’t good. He shrug it too many times that night.

If only Chanyeol could scream out loud in happiness, it would be when Nayeon smiled at him. To Nayeon, she was just observing him from a far marvelling at his sharp nose but when he turned and their eyes met, she accidentally smiled at him before nervously looking away.

There were no opportunity at all for the couples to meet to both sides disappointment. The next they will meet will be during the gayos concert which sadly for the final one, TWICE will be in Japan.

Pillar of Support

Twice was shuffling back and forth from Korea to Japan when they heard the unexpected news that a respected sunbae, a sunbae who welcome them on radio shows when they first debut just committed suicide. It was so shocking that the girls were left speechless.

Not only that, the girls were worried about their partners especially Junmyeon who were especially close to that sunbae. She wanted to call him but she is in a middle of a photoshoot. The moment she is back at the hotel, she called him immediately but no one picks up the phone. As she was packing her back to return to Korea, he finally called her. She immediately teared up when she heard him sob on the other side.

SHO: Why did he have to do that? Why didn’t I realize this earlier? Why wasn’t I there for him? I really don’t understand…. (He sobs heart wrenchingly over the phone.)

JHO: It is not your fault chagiya…. Things happened…

SHO: He was a good hyung….

JHO: Neh… he was a kind Sunbaenim to me.

For twenty minutes, she tried to calm Junmyeon down. All she wants to do right now is just be with him by his side. She couldn’t help but worry so much. In the plane a distressed Sana almost cried because she couldn’t get through Kyungsoo since the news broke out. She was so worried on the plane that she cannot sit still.

Mina don’t know the sunbae that well but occasionally Sehun speaks of him. She wonder if Sehun is okay and if he is handling the news well. Chaeyoung who was seated next to her in the plane, hold on to Mina’s hand reassuring her that everything is going to be alright. Chaeng too could help but wonder if Jongdae is handling the news well.

Once, they have arrived in Korea, they have a short break before going back to the studio to practice for broadcast as well as the upcoming gayos. It wasn’t easy going thru the process of handling all the news but not be able to tend to the news. To avoid any complications, JYPE decided that the girls don’t have to attend the funeral.

By the time they ended practice, Sana attempted to call Kyungsoo once again.

SN: Oppa…. How are you holding on?

DO: I honestly don’t know. I just came back from the funeral and I am feeling lost. (He admitted helplessly.)

SN: Oppa you know I am always here to hear your heart out… (She tried to comfort him.)

DO: Why must this happen?

The conversation stop in silence.

DO: I am thankful they cancelled our schedule this week.

SN: Hang in there oppa, I will drop by later.

DO: Jincha? Are you coming with Jihyo?

SN: Neh…

DO: Good …. Junmyeon hyung is not taking it well at all.

SN: Ara... I heard about it from Jihyo.

The two girls didn’t waste any time. Right after the practice ended, they headed to EXO’s dorm. When Kyungsoo opened the door, Sana immediately embraced him. Kyungsoo began to shed the tears he held on since attending the funeral. Sana couldn’t bear to see her boyfriend breakdown. Jongdae and Chanyeol were in the living room as well and they directed Jihyo into Junmyeon’s room which he shares with Sehun.

Sana didn’t care if s are around. All she did was embrace Kyungsoo as she rubs his back to soothe him from crying. She wants to be his pillar of strength. Jihyo stood outside the door and took a deep breath. She slowly knocked on the door before opening it. Sehun who looks like he has been crying left the room. Jihyo quickly sat on Junmyeon’s bed. He was seated with his head looking down between his knees and crying. Jihyo pulled him slowly into her arms and Junmyeon sobbed even louder. Just like a kid, he snuggles and cry as loud as he did. Jihyo too couldn’t help but cried with him.

Sana was seated at the sofa with Kyungsoo’s head on her lap and his face snuggling close to her tummy. Sana his head softly. She traced her fingers on his shaved head and look at her boyfriend. Sana was startled when Chanyeol spoke to her.

CYL: Why do bring along such a huge paper bag?

SN: Ah…. Mina and Nayeon unnie made rose berry tea. Chaeyoung and Tzuyu made egg sandwiches too. The girls are just worried about all of you.

CYL: Gomawo….

SN: Its nothing. Really…

CYL: Still… no matter how we have hurt some of you, at times like this you ladies were very considerate for our well-being.

SN: Don’t worry …its okay.

Kyungsoo finally sat up beside Sana. His hand held her and his head rested on her shoulder. Sana softly whispered to Kyungsoo.

SN: I love you. I really do. Do know even I am not physically beside you, I am always close to your heart, arraso…

DO: I know. I love you too. Gomawo for coming. You are all that I need for now.

SN: Anything for you, my love.

Sehun who was drinking a can of beer, stared at the paper bag that Chanyeol took from Sana. He stood up and took out the 3 huge thermos with the box of sandwiches. He decided to be the kind maknae and poured the tea into the member’s mugs. As he poured the tea, tears escaped his eyes. The smell of the tea is enough to tell him that Mina brewed this for them. At times like this, amidst Mina’s anger, she is willing to do this and he felt even more regretful for letting her go.

Jongdae slumped on his bed after having tea and sandwich. He actually was a little jealous of Junmyeon and Kyungsoo right now. Although his family has checked up on him, he still have yet to hear from Chaeyoung. When he looked at his phone that was when he realized his phone was dead. He plugged it in and within seconds, he saw a total of 11 missed calls and 17 messages from the girl who stole his heart. Before he could reply, a call came through. He never felt so relief.

CYG: Jong oppa….

JD: Chaeng….

CYG: Mianhe… I wish I could be there for you as well…

JD: Why weren’t you here then? (He replied sounding a little upset.)

CYG: Mianhe… we dangerously ensured Jihyo and Sana’s unnie escape. The members decided that only the both of them should go since they actually are your member’s girlfriend.

JD: Ara…. (He sighs knowing that they had no choice.)

CYG: You must have cried a lot, your voice sounded hoarse.

JD: Uhm…

CYG: I know its hard… I know what ever I say is not going to make you feel better… But please have strength…I am here if you want to talk. (She expresses her feeling genuinely.)

JD: I understand… I know your heart Chaeng.

Jihyo eventually lie down beside Junmyeon. He was crying as they were hugging each other and now 20 minutes later, he felt asleep out of exhaustion. She tucks him softly under the duvet and tiptoed slowly out of the room. She slowly made her way to the sofa.

JHO: Sehun oppa… Mina send her regards.

SH: She did?

JHO: Yes… she really did.

SH: Gomawo.

JHO: Junmyeon fell asleep. I have already tucked him. Can you keep one of the bottled tea for him? I would really appreciate that.

SH: Neh… I will make sure he drinks it tomorrow.

JHO: Sana ya… we have to leave.

DO: Can’t you girls stay overnight?

JHO: If we could have it our way, we wouldn’t even want to leave.

SN: Mianhe baby…I know it is hard.

DO: Ara… I understand. Thank you for coming.

SBS Gayo

At the hallway Mina and Jihyo was on the way to the toilet when EXO just arrived at the venue. They could see the boys looking exhausted and sullen. Jihyo purposely brushed her fingers against Junmyeon just a little bit hoping it will give him strength. Mina could see Sehun looking like he is deep in his thought. She looked away when their eyes met. She shook of the idea of wanting to give him a hug. In the toilet, Jihyo saw Junmyeon’s message who hope to see her at the staircase exit. Jihyo looked at Mina wondering if Mina is willing to accompany her.

MN: Why are you looking at me like that?

JHO: Ani… (She shrugged it off trying to think of other ways.)

MN: Where does he want to meet you? (She asked. Mina is always sharp with this.)

JHO: It is okay Minari. I doubt you would accompany me. Never mind it is ok. (Jihyo softly reply.)

MN: Jihyo ah…. I’ll accompany you. I know you want to be there for him.

JHO: That is not the only thing I am worried about. He is with Sehun. I doubt you would want to be near him.

Mina facial expression change. She thought for a few moment before expressing her opinion.

MN: We broke up amicably, you don’t have to worry about us.

Jihyo walked hand in hand with Mina to the staircase exit. The moment Junmyeon embraces Jihyo, it is enough to melt Mina’s heart.

MN: Oppa… I can only imagine how hard it is for you. Have strength! (She said to Junmyeon who was tearing in Jihyo arms.)

SHO: Gomawo Minari…

Jihyo and Junmyeon proceeded to a level down. Sehun was leaning on the rails of the staircase while Mina sat herself on the steps as she plays with her phone in silent. In Sehun’s head he was thinking about the awkwardness but don’t really know how to voice it out.

SH: Have you been well? (He finally initiated a conversation.)

Mina was startled to hear his voice and immediately lift up her face to look at him. She nodded before her eyes returned to her phone.

SH: I haven’t been well. (He confessed to her before settling himself beside her.)

Mina’s eyes was still glued to her phone but her heart was racing like crazy. She continued to scroll through Instagram. She has no idea what to respond to him.

SH: Sunbaenim was like the big hyung who always care about me. (Sehun shared with Mina and this time earning her attention.)

MN: I remembered you telling me that… How are you coping oppa? (She genuinely asks him.)

Just a question was enough to make him tear up.

SH: I don’t know what to feel but my heart hurts. I didn’t think I would cry but I did.

MN: Nobody wants to lose someone they care about. I am sure wherever his soul is, he would be looking over you.

SH: You think so?

MN: Have strength oppa… Lean on your members….You guys need each other more than ever.

SH: Neh… (He answered her as he wipes his tears away.)

It was a few awkward moments before she realizes Sehun leaned his head on her shoulders. She wanted to push him away but before she could do that, he begged her.

SH: Please… can we just remain like this for the next 10 minutes. I know this isn’t right but please just 10 minutes.

Mina did not reply him and just kept silent. Once the time is up, he lifted his head and looked down. Mina pretended to be nonchalant about it.

As Junmyeon leaned against the wall, Jihyo could see the sadness in his eyes. She cupped his face with her soft hands and pull his lips towards her.

JHO: Please know that I care for you and that I love you so much.

SHO: Ara… I know your heart very well. (He assured her before circling him arms round her waist and resting his head on top of hers.)

JHO: Were you able to sleep?

SHO: A couple of hours. That is why I am exhausted.

JHO: I can’t say when but things will get better oppa.

They stood in embrace for quite some time feeling each other’s warmth. Jihyo reluctantly let go of his hand before heading to be with her members.

SHO: Did Mina say anything to you?

SH: She did. She is keeping her distance but at least she didn’t ignore me. For that I am thankful.

SHO: That’s good. Do you even think there is room for you in her heart? (He asked earnestly as they make their way back to their dressing room.)

SH: I doubt Mina even thinks about that. She is very stubborn you know.

SHO: Well so are you maknae…. (He teases the boy before leaving the staircase.)

I Understand Your Heart

MN: Chaeyoung ah…

CYG: Neh unnie…

MN: Is there anything that is going on between you and Jongdae oppa?

CYG: Huh….what do you mean? (She answered nervously before looking away.)

MN: You know I can read you like an open book.

CYG: Ara…. There is nothing going on between us.

MN: Are you sure? You look like you were going crazy the other day when you couldn’t contact him over sunbaenim’s passing.

CYG: Ahhhh I think it’s only natural that I care for him right.

MN: Do you even realize that he likes you?

CYG: Hmmmmm (She let out a huge sigh.)

MN: Wei…. What happened to my sassy and confident Chaeng?

CYG: I think he treats me like a close younger sister. I should be wary of my own feelings.

MN: You really think of it that way?

CYG: Or at least that is how it looks like in my eyes.

MN: Can’t you see his feelings for you? I think its obvious to all of us.

CYG: Even if that is the truth, what could possibly happen? The reason he has yet to express his feelings just shows how matters to him. I think he looks at me like a little girl unnie. I can’t let my imagination run wild just because I yearn for things to happen.

MN: My lovely maknae is so mature now.

CYG: I want more out of this but I also don’t want more.

MN: I understand…Is that why you were in dilemma these couple of days?

CYG: You understand me best…. I was… no actually I still am. I am just confused.

MN: Did he do anything wrong that you have not been responding to his calls?

CYG: No he did not. I was just afraid.

MN: Afraid?

CYG: I am afraid that the closer I get to him, the more he will see through my heart. I don’t want to go there yet.

MN: Where?

CYG: That place and time in life where I would be heartbroken like you. (She honestly fessed.)

MN: Chaeng ah…. What happened between me and Sehun is only between us. I am not saying everything will be smooth sailing but you won’t know until you become truthful to your heart.

CYG: I doubt I can be like you. I am not brave enough.

MN: Do you honestly think he doesn’t know about your heart?

CYG: Why are you so sure unnie? Did Sehun oppa said something?

MN: Maybe, maybe not. (She favourite maknae.)

CYG: Unnie, how are you coping? With the break up and all?

MN: I am fine. Occasionally I will reminisce about the past but sometimes I laugh and smile remembering the good time.

CYG: Do you miss oppa?

MN: It would be a lie if I said no but I still want to say no. (She giggles trying to lighten the atmosphere.)

CYG: Do you think you will ever have him back in your life? (She cautiously asked.)

MN: Honestly… no. I won’t. Why would I give the power to break my heart to someone who has broken my heart in the first place?

CYG: Would you want to kiss him again? (She asked feeling curious.)

MN: Boyah… what are you talking about?

CYG: I saw you looking at his pictures the other day. You even zoomed in and touched his lips. I wonder if you miss kissing him…..

MN: To tell you the truth….. I did…. (She laughed as she shared her truthful heart to the smol bean.) Back to you. Are you going to pretend that you are not aware of his feelings?

CYG: Uhuh….

MN: What if one day he confesses? What are you going to tell him?

CYG: Unnie… don’t scare me. I haven’t even thought that far.

MN: I know…. But what will you respond?

CYG: I really don’t know unnie. What am I supposed to respond?

MN: I have absolutely no idea. When the time comes, you will know what to do and say.

KBS Gayo Daejun

Sana immediately gave Irene a hug when they met backstage.

IR: Sana ya…. You guys just arrived.

SN: Neh, Mianhe…. I had to miss the red carpet due the flight delay.

IR: It’s okay. Have you read the script that I sent you?

SN: Neh unnie… Gomawo… you are the best…. (Sana affectionately circles her arms around Irene and lays her head on her shoulder.)

CYL: If I didn’t know better, I thought you are dating Irene. (Chanyeol tried to joke with Sana but earned little or fairly not much response.)

SN: Should I change to a black dress?

JIN: Aniya…. You looked beautiful in a white dress. Really pretty.

At the moment when Jinn claims Sana’s beauty, Kyungsoo and Suho actually dropped by the room. Kyungsoo’s famous pout is so obvious that Sana was worried if he felt jealous. The reason they dropped by the room was because Kyungsoo really wanted to see Sana.

When the two boys left, Chanyeol approached Sana and tried to calm her nerves.

CYL: Don’t worry, Soo is just jealous. I am sure after coaxing, he would pretty much be normal again.

SN: Neh… (She appreciates the concern though she wasn’t really fond of Chanyeol. Well who can after what he put Nayeon through.)

The show was about to start, EXO and Twice is supposed to stand side by side as they sang together with other groups on stage. Sana managed to peek at Kyungsoo. When Kyungsoo’s eyes met her, cheeky Sana winked and blow kisses subtly to him. Suho and Jongdae who happened to see it burst into laughter’s. Kyungsoo became red and immediately looked away. He however was smiling all the way.

However one moment when Jin seemingly leaned a little on Sana, Kyungsoo almost lost it. His jealousy was at its peak. He was so tempted to text Sana with words that could kill but when he recalled the day Sana decided to go back to being a junior-senior relationship, he held it in. Instead he texted her a cheeky message.

“Don’t think I am not angry with you. You better think of ways to sooth my heart. I am jealous. Really… I am very jealous of you and Jin. What are you going to do to sooth my heart? “

“What am I going to do?”

“Neh…. What are you going to do to me?”

“Why can’t you do something to me instead? What do you want? I’ll be good.” She flirted subtly.

“I should punish you since you are so bold now!”

“I can’t wait…😉”

Honestly Kyungsoo really miss spending time alone with Sana. It was hard but he endured it well. To be honest, he miss being intimate with her. He wants to hold her in his arm. He wants to make sweet love to her. He wants to hear her wanting him. But all those are just wants…. Well at least for now.

Missing You Like Crazy

Kyungsoo was sulking in the corner around the waiting room. He was upset that TWICE won’t be around for MBC Gayo. She has yet to reply to his text too. Junmyeon who saw his pout came to seat beside the boy.

SHO: Upset she didn’t text you yet?

DO: It’s been 5 hours.

SHO: Seriously…I thought it has been for days. You are hopelessly in love with her Soo…

DO: Like duh… aren’t you the same with Jihyo too? (He teases the leader.)

SHO: Of course I am. She is my world.

DO: Do you think maknae is doing fine? He has been too quite lately.

SHO: He has been like that since Hyung’s passing. I think he will be okay soon.

DO: I hope so too. I wonder if Mina is aware he is struggling.

SHO: She is… She comforted him the other day although she doesn’t have too.

DO: She did?

SHO: Yup… maknae is lucky… He doesn’t know how much Mina cherishes him. Sadly losing or breaking her trust was his stupidest decision ever.

DO: Have you seen Jong lately? Doesn’t he look different since the break-up with the girl who uploaded his photos? Normally he doesn’t take break-ups too well. This time round he looks much calmer.

SHO: Chaeng is good at making him happy. That’s probably the reason he is doing ok.

DO: Chaeyoung? Smol bean? Twice’s maknae?

SHO: Err yup… why?

DO: They are dating?

SHO: I doubt so. You know Jong always has issues with age. He wouldn’t get into a relationship with someone who is 7 years apart.

DO: Well… if you say so. You know he does have the tendency to fall for someone who genuinely shows they care for him.

SHO: I know… let’s just wait and see.

TWICE arrived early at the venue and so does EXO. They were down for rehearsals and everyone was at the arena. EXO was cracking their brain about how to approach the girls at the arena since they were happily chatting with label mates Got7.

Sehun saw Mina busy reading a book while waiting. Tzuyu was seen resting her head on Mina’s shoulder. How on earth can he approach the girl? He has been looking at her for far too long. When he saw Jimin approaching Mina, his heart broke. He wondered what their conversation was about but he knew he has no right to even question them anything.

Mina could see the disappointment in Sehun’s eyes. She never has and never will make Sehun jealous but when situation like this arises, she could only sit back and observe his reactions. Besides, she understands perfectly that they are no longer in a relationship.

Suho and Jongdae decided to approach GOT7 and TWICE first and initiated some light-hearted conversation. Jinyoung is aware of Jihyo’s and Junmyeon’s relationship and he could see her smiling so naturally. He was glad the baby has someone to love.

Honestly, they were glad when the stage managers encouraged a healthy and lively reaction. They don’t have to sit quietly and not respond. As they sat on the chairs, there were hidden smiles and flirting going around.

For the very first time ever, EXO and TWICE won the CECI award together. As they walked to the stage to collect the prize, their heartbeat accelerates and they could hide their happiness. For the very first time in their life, they walk up to stage together. Although only they themselves know that they are dating, just that mere action is like a shout out to the world.

As always, the gentleman let the ladies say their speech first. Jungyeon decided to be the lame person that she is and ended the speech with ‘Ceci I love You’. The girls quickly went back to their seats as EXO started their thanks. The girls were nervous and some were genuinely blushing. When EXO decided to mimic TWICE, Mina couldn’t help but laugh shyly at the boys. Sana knew that her boyfriend would be the only one not following through with the boys and she smiles at him tenderly.

The night went on pretty smooth with Nayeon, Jungyeon and Jihyo letting loose. Chanyeol was super happy because Nayeon seems more relaxed with his presence. To him that is good enough. Maybe one day, hopefully one day in future, she would welcome him with open hearts.

It was one of those rare occasion when they have their afternoon free. The girls were pretty much glad they could breathe a little better with the break. Jihyo, Sana, Chaeyoung and Mina decided to go over Junmyeon’s new personal apartment. They bought lots of stuff from the market because they plan to cook up a storm at his place.

Mina looks a little nervous.

CYG: Unnie, Gwencana?

JHO: Minari, it is okay if you don’t want to follow us.

MN: Ani... I am fine. Don’t worry. Besides Junmyeon oppa invited us all right. Even if Sehun is there, I am okay you know. We did end our relationship on good terms.

SN: Are there sort of left over feelings for him? (Sana asked curiously.)

MN: It would be a lie if I said No. But I still would stick to saying No. (She stuck out her tongue to her sisters trying to lighten the mood.)

JHO: Maknae…

CYG: Uhm…

JHO: What is going on between you and Jongdae oppa?

CYG: Err nothing. Why are you asking me?

JHO: I don’t know if you are blind but can’t you really see his feelings for you?

Mina smiled at the maknae while recalling their similar conversation a few days back.

CYG: I am not blind unnie. I am clear enough to understand that he is bothered by our .

SN: He said that?

CYG: Ani… my instinct is telling me.

MN: You sure about that?

CYG: I don’t know what I am sure about now anymore. He confuses me too much. Maybe I should find someone of similar age?

The girls were in awe as they stepped into Junmyeon’s luxury apartment. It was minimally designed and furnished since, it was empty most of the time. As they toured around his house, the girls were mesmerized by a photo in his room of him and Jihyo kissing each other.

SN: Aww so romantic….

SHO: Ara… you can take a photo with Kyungsoo when he arrives later.

SN: I will… take thousands of pictures together and make the both of you jealous. (She whines.)

At the kitchen, Mina was organizing what to cook first and what needed to be prepared. As she slices the meat, Junmyeon interrupted her.

SHO: Minari…

MN: Neh oppa…

SHO: Sehun and Jongdae will be coming here once they fetch Kyungsoo. Will you be okay with him around?

MN: Why wouldn’t I be? Right maknae…. (She diverted the focus to Chaeyoung.)

CYG: What has this got to do with me?

Everyone laughed at Chaeng’s kiddish whines. Jihyo and Junmyeon already slipped into his room to spend some quality time together. Sana and Chaeyoung were busy playing XBOX. Mina was busy monitoring the chicken ginseng soup that she made.

Mina heart palpitated when she hears the doorbell. Sana was super excited and ran to open the door. She immediately hugs Kyungsoo, before even allowing Sehun and Jongdae to enter the apartment.

JD: Seriously…. Let us in first.

SN: Mianhe oppa… It’s just that I miss Kyungsoo oppa so much.

Sehun walked in to see Mina in the kitchen tasting the soup while Jongdae joined Chaeyoung at the front of the television.

SH: Minari…. (He called out to her softly.)

MN: Uhmm… Hi Sehun oppa….

SH: What did you make?

MN: Samgyetang… Ttobokki… and beef stew. (She responded with a smile.)

SH: Ah…. Finally, I can taste your cooking.

MN: Everyone chipped in to help. I didn’t make this alone. (She answered gently before turning to face the pot of boiling samgyetang.)

SH: Can I taste a bit of the soup?

Mina nodded. Sehun came forward and Mina lifted the ladle to his mouth.

MN: Slowly… it’s hot.

SH: Uhm….

The distance between the both of them is too close and Mina’s heart is racing. She became a little flushed, took a step back and change the topic. Thankfully, Chaeyoung and Jongdae entered the kitchen as well. Chaeyoung wasn’t happy to see Sehun standing too close to Mina but before she could say anything, Jongdae took her hands and pull her towards the fridge.

JD: What do you want to drink?

CYG: Shouldn’t I ask you that?

JD: Well you did not?

Chaeyoung stared at him knowing that he successfully diverted her attention. He poked her cute cheeks before enveloping his hands with her and bringing her out of the kitchen. He brought her to Junmyeon’s mini studio. Chaeyoung sat on one of the sofa after taking one of the guitar of the walls.

JD: Can you play the guitar?

CYG: Just a little bit… everyone is now learning an instrument each.

JD: Jincha…. Learning to become like Wonder Girls Sunbaenim?

CYG: Far from them… they are way up there. But Yubin unnie told me to just enjoy the process.

JD: Do you know the song by Soyu and Jujinggo?

CYG: You meant ‘Some’ or ‘Something’?

JD: Uhuh… come sing with me…

CYG: Ani... lets just sit outside. (She asked wanting to escape the shy situation.)

JD: Shiro… sit down…. Please Chaeng??

Jongdae began strumming the guitar…before mouthing the words…

Chaeyoung initially shook her head but eventually continued the lyrics.

While tossing and turning alone in an empty room

Then, Jongdae smiled at her so tenderly that both of them sang along to the lyrics.

Before they could end of that part, Chaeyoung hurriedly excused herself and went to the toilet. Leaving Jongdae stunned. In his head, he debated if he should confess to her. In her head, she hated this game or confusion he has her at. Chaeyoung heart was beating so fast that she hated feeling this way.

“What was he trying to do? Chaeyoung! Stop dreaming! He is too far from your reach. Allowing yourself to be close to him means nearing yourself to get heartbroken.”

The cold water she splashed on her face is enough to jolt her racing heart. She took a deep breath before opening to the toilet door. Jongdae who was leaning in front of the wall immediately came to her.

JD: Gwencana…

CYG: Neh…

Before he could probe, she excused herself to the kitchen. Mina who was dishing out the food onto the bowls, looked at the maknae with curiosity. She saw Jongdae who kind of give up and return to the hallway.

MN: Did he confessed?

CYG: Ani… I can’t take this confusion anymore. I am stepping out of whatever ‘relationship’ that this is called.

MN: Why?

CYG: I am confused unnie… might as well we don’t start anything.

MN: Arra…. Calm down. Help me set up the table.

Chaeyoung nodded. Chaeng felt a little nervous because Jong sat beside her. She immediately volunteered to call Jihyo and Junmyeon from the room. Her hasty manner made Sana eye Mina and the two girls wondered what exactly happened.

SH: Minari… (Sehun called out to Mina wanting to know what happened.)

MN: Yes love…. (Sehun melted when she called him Love. He almost wanted to kiss her. Her replies for him however caused the whole table to be silent untill Sana opened .)

SN: Errrr you just called him ….

“Arghhhhhhhhhh…. my eyes!!!!!!” Chaeyoung screamed as she ran to the dining table.

Jongdae immediately embraces her ….

JD: Gwencana….

CYG: I just saw Jihyo unnie and Junmyeon oppa….

SN: OoooHhH what did you see Maknae…(Cheeky Sana wanted to know.)

CYG: Unnie!!!!!

DO: Babe stop teasing her…. And Jong, why are you hugging Chaeyoung?

JD: Ah… I … I …

Jihyo and Junmyeon quickly came out from the room soon after.

JHO/SHO: Mianhe maknae… We didn’t mean to let you see that.

MN/SN: See what?

CYG: Junmyeon oppa and unnie …

Everyone listened to Chaeng’s explanation before exclaiming….

MN/SH/DO/SN/JD: What!!!!!!!!!!!!!
