Distracted
"Is this okay?"
He lost track of how many times he had scanned over the paper. Looking for fault. Looking for signs that could reveal to the reader the real contents of his heart. A loud sigh escaped his lips as he lightly bumped his head on the desk. He slipped his hand on his heart, feeling the shallow rhythm of the beating of his heart, he was in trouble-- he knew that.
He couldn't keep his wits on.
He couldn't keep his composure.
"Damn it Taehyung."
Ding dong. Ding dong.
He lightly jumped on his chair when he heard the doorbell on the front door ring.
"Oh shoot," he cursed under his breath. He shoot up on his chair, looked around his room, and finally noticed the mess he was in. He ran to his bed,aligned his pillows and puffed them. He noticed the creases on the blanket and smoothed down the sides, halfway through tucking the corners, he realized what he was doing,"Aish! why am I fixing the bed??". He kicked the side of his bed harshly and hissed when he hurt his toe.
His eyes widened when he realized something and groaned. He berated himself and turned to his desk. He opened his desk drawer and started stuffing the things on top of his desk inside. "This needs to be hidden here," he put his leather journal inside. "And this," he unpinned a photograph on his pinboard. And for a second his eyes softened. It was one of his most prized possession.
"I'll keep you hidden here for awhile."
He flipped the photograph facedown and gently laid it down on his drawer. Taking the key secretly tuck
