The air floating around the room gave away its usual smell of moldy socks. It was filling out every bit of the tiny cramped room and making its way to the nose of a woman, who was glaring at her computer screen.

Every summer spent in the office made her question the choice of her job as well as her whole existence. Happy children were laughing on the street while she was locked up in the unchanging messy room, hearing their joyful voices.

The office itself was not as terrible as one would imagine it to be. A small but inviting cozy room filled with all kinds of documents piling up on the floor. It was the kind of environment she loved working in, because it reflected the state of her mind.
