Being a photojournalist is not that easy, its harder than you think. But the hardest is following your subject when its always hard to reach. I'm saying this because I experience it. I'm a photojournalist in a magazine publishing company and they assigned me a subject that even when you think of it, its really impossible to accomplish. But since its my job I will try it. You wonder what that subject they assigned to me right?

 

I am now walking in the hall of JYP building the subject that my company assigned to me is here. And I know you can already guess that its a celebrity, yes she's a celebrity particularly an Idol. And the worst thing is she's my....

 

"Oh, Dahyun Kim you're here" Some said that wake me from my thoughts

"Oh, Hello" I bowed to that person

"By the way, I know you didn't know me yet I know you. I'm manager Jun Kil Jung the one who is incharge of  Nayeon Im the one who you will be with in a week" He said

"Yeah, nice to meet you sir. By the way You know my name, how?" I asked

"Your company called us and besides we already saw you works and its great so far. So I guess your company choose the best one to interview Nayeon. We're expecting from you Dahyun Kim"

"Just call me Dahyun don't bother to put the surname sir" I said smiling at him.

"Call me Jun Kil" He said smiling back at me

 

 

After that conversation he lead to the practice room where Nayeon is. To tell you honestly I'm nervous now. Its been so long since the last time we meet I wonder if she still remember me. Yeah, you read it right I know Nayeon for a long time. she's my childhood friend and eventually we grow together and I develop a feelings towards her. But doesn't know about that, because she's here in a world that I can't reach and I know I'm not belong here. So I just hide this feelings and since she became a trainee we never keep in touch so I really don't know if she still remember me.

 

 

After a minute or two we arrive at the front door of the practice room Jun Kil is saying. And I can tell you that my heart is beating faster now. Woah! this is it I will meet her at last after a long time. I just hope she still remember me. Jun Kil open the doon and walk through it I just follow and when I'm inside I see her, I really see her I'm not dreaming she's infront of me smiling.

 

 

"Hello Dahyun Kim, Manager Jun Kil here already told me that you will be accompanying me for a week for the interview" She said greeting me

"I...ah...Hello" All I can say I'm totally stunned by her presence she change she become more pretty than the last I saw her. They really take care of her

"Thanks for choosing me by the way for your latest issue" Shee said still smiling at me. I guess she really didn't remember me

"Ah...eh... No don't thank us, we should thank you for accepting our offer" I said

"Hehehe.. well if that so its a pleasure Dahyun Kim. I already saw and read your recent work and I'm pleased that you're the one they assigned for me. I hope we can work together"

"I really hope that" I whisper

"So when we will start?" She asked

"I guess we can start tomorrow? I only came here to meet you and orient you and your manager for the schedule I prepare"

"Ow, its okay then. Nice to meet you again Dahyun Kim" She said smiling again but this time she offer her hand for a handshake. I just look at that hand before I accept it

"Same here Nayeon Im" I said smiling also. Its been a long time since the last time I held your hand

"Don't bother calling with my full name just Nayeon will do" She said after we handshake

"Then you should do the same with mine" I said smiling, she just nodded

 

 

I let out a sigh the moment I walk out from that room. She really change into a real woman now. She's not like that when we were still in high school. The way she say my name it just mean that she didn't know me anymore. Well, I can't blame her at all I've also change I'm not the Nerd Dahyun she knew back then. Maybe that's why.

Tomorrow comes and again I'm here infront of JYP building but this time I just wait for her here outside. She said that she will just get something inside and we're ready to go. Wonder where we're going? Well, we just go to a cafe and there I will start my first batch of question for her. I saw her came out from the building and head towards me. And we start walking, since she insited that we will be commuting now. I portested since she's an Idol but she insisted so I can't do anything at all.

 

 

"You know what, you look familiar" She began speaking while we are walking.

"Me?" I asked a bit surprised by her sudden statement

"Yeah, you look like someone I know"

"Ow, really? You too, you look like someone I know" I blurted out

"Really? I guess this face is so familiar" She said while looking at me with matching smile

 

 

We arrive at the bus stop and luckily the bus is there and when we went inside it set off mmidiately. I think its our lucky day because there's still not crowded inside and almost they are all elders so they might not know Nayeon that much.

 

 

"So can you brief me what kind of questions you're going to ask to me?" She start the conversation again

"Well, since this is the first batch, its all about you Like hobbies likes dslikes something like that"

"Ow, I guess I don't to have to be nervous right?"

"Of course 'coz you can answer it easily without thinking" I said smiling while taking a photo of her

"Just assure me that all the photos you're taking must be good" She said laughing a bit

"I assure you It will be good Mam" I said also laughing

"Don't call me mam and didn't I tell you to call me just Nayeon?. We will be together for a week "

"Yeah, you did tell me that, my bad" I laughed

"Can I call you Dubu?" She asked

"Dubu? Why?" I asked because that's the name she always call me back then

"Yeah, nothing you just remind me of her and I know its coincedence but you have the same name and also you looks like a tofu" She said

"Ow, okay then. You can call me in that name then. I miss someone who call me in that name too. So I guess I can allow you that" I said smiling at her. I guess she still know me but not my face coz if so she might know me from the first time we meet.

"Wow, we're the same, I guess we can get along well Dubu"

"Yeah, come we're here"

"That fast?"

"Well, you're talking I guess you're not looking at the outside at all" I laughed

"Cut that off Dubu your not funny"

"Sorry, lets go"

 

 

After that we head to the cafe where I booked a table for two in a not crowded place so that no one can disturbed us. We settled down and order a coffee before we start.

 

 

"Can we start now?" I asked as the coffee we ordered

"Yeah, ask me now" She said then I get my recorder and my camera ready in the table.

"Okay then first your Full name"

"Nayeon Im that's the full name"

"What a beautiful name" I whispered

"Sorry what did you say?" She asked

"Ow nothing. Don't mind me I tend to speak to myself sometimes" I said laughed

"Okay then next question, hobbies, likes, dislikes, favorite food, drinks and artist. Sorry if its long I just compile it" I continues

"Its okay, hobbies? I'm just like the others who's hobbies are watching Dramas and Movies, Likes? I like kids, babies I'm always happy when I see one even though I didn't know them but I just approach them and hug them I can. I don't think I have dislikes, for now maybe. Food, I like spicy foods but I'm not good at eating them and I don't know why. Drinks, there's so many though like Bubble Tea but I always take the bubbles our before I drink it, Green Tea and Grapefruitade. Artists? IU and Taeyeon but honestly all the seniors" She answers like she's telling a story, cute

"Also I kinda into photography lately" She added

"Really? Then we have something in common then?" I said though I really know it since I've always been updated about her

"Yeah, think so" She smiled

 

 

And then we went on to the other question, hse's still the same Nayeon I know. My feelings for her is still here, nothings change. I just wonder if she had some feelings to me back then.

Days passed and now we're down for the last two days fo meeting. Nothing much happening happen in the past days except that we gotten closer for just days. Its like we know each othe for a long time like the old times. I'm thinking if I could say to him that I'm the Dahyun that she knows and tell her that she is  the one who I missed so much. But I can't I'm afraid of what may happen if I tell her

 

 

Now we're on my studio where I will show her how I do the things I do in my company. I will show her my gallery where I post all the photos I take.

 

 

"Wow, you have an amazing studio. I'm telling the truth" She said while drinking the juice I gave her

"Well, thank you I appreciate that" I said

"So here see this , this all the photos of you that I take from the very start" I said while showing all the photos that are hanging

"Wow, impressive Dubu. You are really a photographer. All this photos are clear and very detailed" She compliments

"Thanks again"

"I really wonder why you don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend"

"Why? I'm happy being single"

"But in that beauty and a talent like this you must have"

"A~, I don't need that and besides even though I don't have that, I have someone inside here" I said while point the part where my heart is

"Ow, I see then. That guy/girl must be lucky then"

"Why?"

"I already told you, and I will tell you even though we only meet days ago but I already know you like for how many yeas and I can tell that you're an amazing woman Dubu"

"You're just fluttering me Nayeon"

"No, I'm not. I'm stating a fact and true statement from here" She said also pointing towards her hear

"Aww, cute" I give her an eyesmile

"Okay then, just do what you want to do while I'm finishing the other photos okay?"

"Okay" She smiles at me then get her ohone and dialled someone's number

 

 

After a minute or two I'm done from what I'm doing and when I get back to the place where I leave her alone I don't see her. And then I look for her only to find out that she is in the balcony of my studio still talking to someone.

 

 

"Okay, just do what I've said and I want it to be perfect tomorrow night" I hear her say to the other line

"Okay, Okay. Thanks Manager" And she Hang up

"Ow, you're already there" She said as she turned around

"Yeah, did I disturbed you?" I asked

"No, you're just in time when our conversation is done"

"Ow, Okay. So what you wanna do now?"

"Hmm, lets just watch movies if you have"

"Okay, I will just set it up"

 

 

Actually we're done form all of the interviews and the photo taking we're just resting now. It just this girl wants to see my studio. Well, what I mean studio is my apartment. Its a stuio type apartment. She should be resting now because we're done but still like always she insisted.

 

 

 

"Ahmm.. Dubu are you free tomorrow night?" She asked as we watch

"Yeah, why did you ask?"

" I just wonder if I could invite you tomorrow night for a dinner as a thanks for your hard work"

"Ow, I guess I can't turn down that invitation. yeah, I will go"

"Thanks in advance" She said again smiling at me.

The night come, she gave me the name of the restuarant and the place where it was located and she asked me to wear something pretty. That girl is into something she said its a dinner for thanking me but she himself asked me what I'm going to wear. Tsk.

 

 

I Arrived 15 mins. earlier than what she told me. I'm not a late comer by the way I'm an early bird. I went inside of the restuarant but it seems that I'm the only customer here. All I could see are the crews here. Someone approach me and lead me to a table where it was fully decorated. Like a romantice dinner. That girl is really into something.

 

 

I sat there while waiting for her, I guess it just a seconds and I see her entering and approaching me like she is surprised by my presence.

 

 

"I never though that you will go here earlier than me. Its a shame on me" She said as she take the seat infront of me

"No, its not I'm just earlier than your for just a seconds"

"Ow, hahaha. By the way you like it?"

"This set up? Yeah, but tell me the truth why there's no other people here?"

"Well, I rented this restaurant for us. And Tell you the truth I want to tell you something important"

"And what is that?"

"Let's eat first and after that I will tell you all"

"Okay then"

 

 

Then she call a waiter and he tell to bring the foods thats he ordered earlier. And in just a minute a delicious foods are infront of me.

 

 

"So tell me do you like it?"

"Like it? I love it" I said but she just laugh

 

 

We didn't talk at all we just ate there and finish what's in there. Its a silent atmosphere but its not a deafing one. We're done now and I'm ready to listen to her.

 

 

"So?" I said

""First of all thanks for coming. And I want to tell you that, I'm the one who requested you to become my photojournalist in the latest issue" She began

"What you are? How?"

"Dubu, you don't know how hard I get through just to find you" She said smiling

"Find me? Wait this is confusing. Please elaborate" I said not really getting what she is saying

"A~, you're still the blank Dubu I know. Dubu I'm the one who requested for you to be my photojournalist since I heard that you are workin in one of the biggest publishing company here. I just want to see you again for a long time. And being with you for a week it feels like we didn't get apart. I really missed you too Dubu"

 

 

I' m dumbfounded, after all of this days she actually knows me, and she's the one who made this thing. I can't say anything.

 

 

"Dubu, speak up and please don't be mad I just want to hear it from you but you never tell me so since this is the last day, I make the move. And I want to tell you something more"

"And what is that? And don't worry I'm not mad, I'm just speechless"

"I just want to say the words I didnt get to tell you before I enter this world"

"What is that? hmmm" Giving her an eyesmile

"A~ you're smile is bothering me"

"Why? I always show it to you back then why bother now?"

"Nothing. haha"

"So what is it?"

"I LOVE YOU, and I'm really glad to be your girlfriend"

"You what?" I said surprised seen in my face

"I said I love you and I want to be your girlfriend" She said standing up from her seat and get the boquet of flowers from the crew and give it to me

"I am dreaming?"

"No you're this is reality and I'm just waiting for your answer"

"I've waited this for a long time, To think that I was supposed to tell you that I also love you before you become a trainee but I guess I'm a coward. But I'm thanking god that this things happens to us and now you're telling me that you feel the same way. And I would gladly Accept that. I Love You too" I said as I threw my arms into her neck and kiss her in her lips its okay because there's no one here and the crews are in the kitchen. I'm just overwhelmed that this is happening now. I just feel her smiling

"So you're mine now?"

"Yeah, and that's the fact" I give her again an eyesmile

"I love you"

"I love you more"

"You know what"

"What is it?" She asked still hugging me

"It's Like A Dream..."

"Why do you say so?"

"Nothing just that its a dream of mine to be with you and now you're finally in my arms"

"Yeah, you're right" And now its her time to kiss me.
