We are a semi-literate, MeWe-based roleplay that is decently active and packed with some of the most talented writers in the roleplaying community. Opened on October 2016, our community thrives with our muns' sincere love for roleplaying, character development, and overall willingness to welcome any and all newcomers that may be interested. 001. QiX is only accepting Korean industry based muses. This includes idols (both currently active and past active), actors/actresses, k-hiphop artists, MCs, and well-known models who are signed to well-known K-Industry companies. We do not accept Ulzzang face claims or Asian face claims that are outside of the Korean/Kpop industry. If you are unsure about your muse and do not see their name on our masterlist, please feel free to leave a comment or send a direct message for further clarification! Moving couples are welcomed!

002. All muns are allowed two muses, but they cannot be from the same group. (Active muns at Quixotic for over 3 months with no strikes against their accounts may apply for an additional third account. This is a privilege and can be revoked at any time due to any broken rules)

003. All muns are required to stay active. A green dot and a profile picture update is not the equivalent to activity, nor is OOC chatting. Posting action/para threads in General/Alternate Universe group and MyWorld is highly encouraged. (p w d: idealistic)

004. Activity will be checked every two weeks, all muses are required to have at least 2 active roleplay threads (action/para based roleplays) at the time of activity check or they will be counted as inactive and in danger of being removed from the roleplay. While SNS posts are easier and more convenient, Quixotic strives to be a semi-literate roleplay and not a text based, SNS style roleplay.

005. If for any reason you need to take a hiatus, please inform the admins of your absence and fill out our hiatus form. A hiatus is only good for 2 weeks. Repeat use or abuse of hiatuses will result in the immediate removal from Quixotic.

006. Cliques will not be tolerated within Quixotic. Any muse found not greeting incoming muses will be given a warning, repeat offences will lead to the removal from Quixotic.

007. Though Quixotic is open to ESL roleplayers, a certain level of literacy must be maintained. Chat language is not to be in roleplay nor should emojis be used in action style posts. A warning will be issued if admins are made aware of emojis being used in action style posts. This does not include muns who like to include photos/gifs of their muse that match the roleplay for aesthetics.
008. Muns can not swap their current muse for a new muse unless they have held onto their accounts for a minimum of one month (exceptions can be made if you can make a case as to why you would like to switch) Muses under the legal age (18 and younger) are allowed to be roleplayed but are not permitted to partake in any ual or mature plots until they become of age.

009. All out of character comments (except for those made in the OOC groups) are to be kept in brackets or parenthesis. Do not roleplay in the OOC groups or chats! If you have any questions, please direct them to the QiX Admin account. The admins like to keep their personal accounts separated from the admin business. (p w d: unrealistic)

010. Sensitive topics (, attempted suicide, self harm, excessive violence, triggering kinks) MUST BE TAGGED. The admins do not mind muns roleplaying darker subplots but please be courteous to those who are simply scrolling through the posts! All sensitive plots/drama must receive consent from roleplaying partners before continuing on with the plot. Drama must be contained and muses are not to be dragged unwillingly into these plots. If drama should happen, it must all be purely IC; If you and another mun are having an OOC issue, it is to be resolved privately. If an agreement can't be made or the issue becomes more sever, bring it to the admins attention.

011. God-modding is not allowed, under any circumstances. If you see something OOC or in a post, your muse is not allowed to automatically know. Likewise, muses are not allowed to jump into established roleplays between other muses unless specifically asked to join. On the subject of established plots, we ask that you do not face chase to roleplay your OTP when your or another person's muse is already in a relationship.

012. If the safe word (Quixotic) is used at any time in either the IC or OOC group chats, the topic that is currently being discussed must change immediately, no questions ask. We want everyone to have a safe roleplaying and chatting experience and we are all working hard to make sure everyone remains comfortable and does not have to mute the chats! Please display common roleplay courtesy to one another (p w d: impractical)

013. The newly implemented dating ban under QiX is exactly a month from arrival, as we have encountered many cases of facechasing and OTP chasing over the last few months. We also have a few other guidelines that all muns should be aware of before they begin plotting more serious themes:

— Even though muses can form a relationship regardless of time, muses must maintain their relationship for two months before an engagement can be announced, and the engagement period must last for three months before the muses can marry.

— Any plotlines involving kids cannot be roleplayed until after marriage. If your muse is in a relationship and you would like to roleplay a pregnancy, your muses must be married for a total of 1 month before the plot can begin, and the pregnancy is to be held for 2 months. (NOTE: Pregnancy scares are allowed at any point in time, so long as they do NOT result in a positive pregnancy unless otherwise approved by both admins) Mpreg is absolutely not allowed.

— If you decide to proceed with a pregnancy plotline with the result of an abortion, miscarriage, or giving the child away for adoption, you must tag your plots as you would sensitive topics.

— If your muse is in a relationship and you would like to roleplay an adoption, your muses must be married for a total of 1 month before the plot can begin, and the adoption process is to be held for 2 months. If your muse is in a relationship and would like to roleplay a surrogacy, or if your muse is planning to be a surrogate for another couple, the same rules apply and the baby must be held for 2 months.
