Ch 1

Smile

G-Dragon strolled through the opulent corridors of the prestigious Parisian hotel, the plush carpet beneath his sleek black shoes muffling the sounds of the world outside. His manager, a discreet presence at his side, guided him towards the hotel's renowned restaurant for a breakfast meeting before the day's rehearsal.

As they entered the restaurant, G-Dragon's eyes surveyed the tasteful decor—rich mahogany furniture complemented by subtle gold accents. The early morning sunlight streamed through floor-to-ceiling windows, casting a warm glow on the empty dining area. The hushed ambience of the upscale establishment promised a tranquil start to the day.

Seated at a pristine table, G-Dragon casually placed his leather bag on the adjacent chair, its smooth surface contrasting with the exquisite table setting. The restaurant, seemingly frozen in time before the day's rush, exuded an air of exclusivity that matched the stature of its patrons.

His manager, a figure of efficiency in a tailored suit, took the seat opposite him. "Buffet or menu for breakfast, GD?" he inquired, his demeanour reflecting a seamless blend of professionalism and familiarity. G-Dragon reclined in his chair, surveying the still-deserted buffet. With a nonchalant gesture, he pointed towards the expansive array of culinary delights. Omelette, hash browns and more. The smell of the food aroused his appetite. He rarely went for breakfast, as most of the time, he will still be asleep at this time.

As G-Dragon approached the buffet, the enticing aroma of freshly prepared dishes enveloped him. His attire, a reflection of his iconic style, consisted of a tailored black jacket over a crisp white shirt paired with designer jeans and polished leather shoes. The rhythmic beats of his heart echoed the anticipation of the day ahead.

Amid the culinary choices, a soft voice resonated behind him, a melody that interrupted the quietude of the restaurant.

"Hello, good morning." A soft voice was heard from his back. A lady smiling at the buffet attender. "What's in this?" She asked the chef behind the pasta line with her cheerful voice. G-Dragon turned to find a young lady dressed in a baby pink fluffy skirt and a white shirt adorned with pink ruffles. Her vibrant presence injected a burst of colour into the subdued surroundings. He inhaled sharply as he glanced at his clueless manager. He already told him that he wanted a private breakfast session today. "This pasta got beef, this one got chicken, and the last one got seafood. The vegan pasta is in the vegan lane." The chef replied, smiling back at her. Her eyes sparkled with excitement, smiling while replying thank you. The other buffet attendee smiled at her, too.

GD was just standing in front of the sandwiches buffet, trying to make his mind up. G-Dragon, caught off guard by her sudden appearance, struggled to choose a sandwich as she joined him. "I got confused too; which sandwich should I try," she admitted with a wide smile, her joy infectious. Her smiles were wider when GD turned around to look at her.  His stares remain on her smiling face for a few seconds before he turns back, looking at the buffet.

"Oh my, I'm a big fan of yours," she exclaimed, swaying in happiness. G-Dragon, ever gracious, bowed in acknowledgement before returning to his seat. He had lost his appetite already.

The woman then walked towards G-Dragon's table with a huge smile and a plate of food in her right hand. "GD fighting!" she cheered as she left, the sound trailing behind her like a fleeting melody. Unbeknownst to G-Dragon, she left behind a trace of high-end perfume from Gucci that lingered in the air, an unintentional reminder of their brief encounter.

"Pablo, what are we going to do today?" The lady asked the man waiting for her at the table after she walked past GD's table. "We are free today. What should we do?" Pablo, in his leopard-printed shirt, crossed his legs. Reading the magazine. The lady crunched her face, shrugging her shoulder while munching her salad.

GD returned to his luxurious Parisian hotel right before the of midnight. The lobby, adorned with crystal chandeliers, echoed with the soft strains of classical music. The marble floors beneath his polished black shoes exuded a quiet opulence as he awaited the elevator, a portal to solitude in the midst of a bustling city.

"Hey! We meet again GD-shi." a lively voice interrupted his contemplation. Turning, he found the lady who greeted him earlier this morning, accompanied by her assistant. Their hands laden with shopping bags, they embodied the effervescence of a Parisian night. Her genuine smile reached her eyes, and GD, momentarily fatigued, offered a polite bow, thankful for the sunglasses that veiled his weariness. Sometimes, he really needs to be alone and prefers to be unrecognisable. Then, the elevator's door opened wide.

As the elevator doors opened, Hana requested, "GD-shi, could you press 15 for me?" He nodded, obliging, and pressed the button for her. "By the way, my name is Park Hana." She squinted her eyes as she introduced herself, still smiling so widely. "This is Pablo, my assistant." Pablo, clad in a leopard-printed T-shirt, added a silent but friendly nod.

"You look tired, GD-shi. You should rest some more. This world tour must already take a toll on you," Hana observed, her concern cutting through the facades of fame. She kept her eyes on him, not even diverting her face from his. The assistant, a silent spectator, maintained his smile. "See you later, GD-shi," she cheered, waving enthusiastically, leaving GD to ponder the unexpected connection.

"Honey, didn't I always warn you not to be so friendly with a stranger?" Pablo's cautionary words reverberated as they stepped out of the elevator. "He is no stranger, Pablo. He is G-Dragon," Hana retorted, her confidence unwavering. Without looking back, she strolled confidently to her room, leaving GD to navigate the quiet corridor with deliberate steps, avoiding any unnecessary attention.

"Hey, good morning." Hana appeared in the restaurant greeting the attendee. Just like the other day, her radiant presence lit up the space. Pablo followed her closely, their entrance drawing subtle glances from other patrons. GD sighed at the sight, a mixture of irritation and curiosity playing on his features.

"Is there anything wrong Hyung?" The manager asked, looking around the 5-star restaurant. He decided to take his breakfast earlier today in order to avoid the huge crowd. GD just shook his head, slowly ingesting his morning meal. Hana waved her hand slightly towards GD before walking toward her table at the outdoor terrace surrounded by morning glories and white roses that adorned the purple-hued space. Something about her cheerfulness makes him agitated.

"I didn't know that place is accessible," GD said as his eyes fixed on the picturesque terrace.  "She must be a really important guest in the hotel." The manager speculated as he looked at where GD was looking earlier.  Hana's melodic laughter resonated from the indoor part of the restaurant as a group of a musician entertained her.

"Let's go, it's noisy here." GD declared, abandoning his half-finished meal and exiting the restaurant. The echoes of Hana's cheerfulness lingered, leaving him with a sense of agitation amidst the serenity of the Parisian morning.

—♦—♦—♦—

"Jiyong-ah, you got dinner you need to attend tonight?" The manager came into the room after leaving GD in his private time. "With whom?" He raised his brow, looking at the manager lazily. GD had already lost his energy for today.

"Mr Yang wanted you to attend a private fan meeting."

"! What?" He hissed and ruffled his mullet hair. "His friend's kid?" He added with a smirk. He really didn't like it when his boss differentiated his fans. To him, all of his fans are the same despite their status.

"I was shocked too. Mr Yang wanted you to have dinner with Park Hana. I guess she is someone who has a really influential background. How the hell did Mr Yang know her." The manager sighed and sat on the sofa. GD shook his head in disbelief. How rich was this girl until she had the privilege to meet him in private? He had no choice but to go and have dinner with the woman.

After a day that had drained him of energy, GD found himself reluctantly pulled into a private fan meeting, an unexpected dinner date set up by his manager and the higher management. As he entered the private banquet room, he was met with the dazzling sight of Park Hana, adorned in a baby pink off-shoulder dress, shimmering with glitters that caught the ambient light.

Hana's greeting broke the silence, "Oh, I didn't know you'd be my dinner date tonight." GD, maintaining his signature composure, nodded politely and took a seat in front of her. The venue offered a breathtaking view of Paris through a vast French window; the city lights creating a romantic backdrop for the evening.

"What a view," GD commented, his eyes lingering on the night scenery

"I know, right," Hana replied, her excitement evident in a chuckle. GD, while acknowledging the beauty of the surroundings, struggled to mask his true emotions. Politeness dictated his demeanour, but internally, he wrestled with his own discomfort.

Seeking to break the ice, GD abruptly asked, "What do you do for a living?" Hana, momentarily taken aback by the directness of the question, began to respond,

She was about to talk about her career, "Well, I spend money—" before being cut off by GD's scoff. Stifling his laughter, he apologized, "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have asked that." He redirected the conversation, "Anyway, what did you do today?" He added as the lady's face twisted as she looked at him. For the first time since the first time they met, Hana loses her smile. Hana, detecting the subtle prejudice, managed to regain her composure.  But the smile came back as she opened , talking about her activities.

"I went to the Louvre today," Hana replied as she smiled brightly at him.

"The Louvre? You love art?" GD tilted his head as he asked. He had no intention of just continuing a conversation, but the mention of the Louvre actually piqued his interest to talk more. Hana nodded her head, telling him the art pieces that she was able to look closely at today.

"Oh, by the way, this painting's name was Bianca. Should I buy it or not? Isn't it nice?" She asked as she showed him a picture of a painting that was shown to her exclusively at the Louvre. "I never saw this painting in Lourve." He stated as both of them moved their chairs closer to each other. He was genuinely interested in the topic.

"It's exclusively for important buyers. If no one was buying this, they would put it up for exhibition." Hana explained, revealing the exclusive nature of her experience. "It's beautiful," GD said as he looked closely at each art piece she showed him. They delved into a conversation about the intricate details of the painting, finding common ground in their appreciation for art.

"Yeah, the detailing of the painting is top-notch." She nodded in agreement as they talked more about art. The dinner passed more than half an hour when GD realised that he hadn't picked up his utensils yet. "The appetizers were still untouched." GD looked at his plate and her plate before he let out a peal of small laughter. The lady surely knows how to talk to him.

"Ah, you're right." Hana squinted her eyes and finally started eating. GD laid his eyes on the lady a couple of times. He finds it weird never a second of their conversation was awkward or uncomfortable. What amazed him tonight was her facial expression. Her smiles were so bright, and her laughter was so light and inviting. They ended the dinner professionally, and GD complied with her request and took a selfie with her. The night ended with both of their stomach full.

In the dimly lit hotel corridor, GD waited for the elevator, the subdued ambience interrupted by the sudden voice calling his name. "Hey, what's up, G-Dragon." The vibrant voice belonged to Park Hana, and GD couldn't help but flinch at the unwelcome intrusion. Bowing his head to avoid direct eye contact, he hoped to maintain some semblance of privacy in the confined space.

Hana's exuberance, however, knew no bounds. "You look nice. Where are you going, Jiyoung-shi?" Her voice, like that of a joyful child, filled the air. GD, his real name catching him off guard, raised his brows, responding with a half-hearted, "I'm sorry. It's private."

Undeterred, Hana continued, "Hahaha, it's okay. By the way, I didn't notice that we stayed on the same floor." Her bubbly nature clashed with GD's reserved demeanour,

"Honey, stop talking to him. He's a celebrity and needs to take care of his image." Pablo pulled her hand softly, ushering her away from getting too close to GD. Then, the atmosphere turns awkward and saved by the elevator.

"Where are you going?" GD asked with a slow voice when they got into the elevator. As they entered the elevator, GD felt compelled to break the awkwardness. The weight of his celebrity image forced him to engage with fans like Hana despite his desire for solitude. Her bubbly laughter her radiant presence are bothering his quiet preference.

"I'm going to the Chanel fashion show for their new collection." She replied, looking at GD with her shining eyes. She cannot hide her excitement when GD talk to her, causing her face to flush.  "That's nice-"

"Honey, let's go." Pablo pulled her out of the elevator as soon as it opened, causing Hana to be unable to finish her sentence.

"Pablo, he was talking!! You're being rude!!" She hits his arm hard enough to cause him pain. GD just gave them his awkward smile before leaving the hotel.

 —♦—♦—♦—

Amidst the glitz and glamour of the Chanel fashion show, the vibrant lights danced along the red carpet as celebrities and fashion enthusiasts gathered. The air was filled with an electric buzz, the chatter of excitement and the click of cameras forming a symphony of the elite. The venue exuded opulence, with intricate floral arrangements and the scent of high-end perfumes lingering in the air.

In this sea of haute couture, GD's attire spoke of understated sophistication. Clad in a tailored black suit with a subtle sheen, he wore a crisp white shirt, a monochrome ensemble that accentuated his timeless charm. His eyes, hidden behind sunglasses, betrayed a weariness that even the stylish facade couldn't conceal.

In stark contrast, Hana's presence was a burst of colour against the fashion-forward backdrop. Her baby pink off-shoulder dress, adorned with glitter, caught the light and sparkled like stardust. A symbol of youthful exuberance, she radiated joy, her fashion choice mirroring the effervescence in her personality. The scent of her Gucci perfume lingered with a luxurious touch that added to the sensory spectacle.

As Hana approached GD, her excitement bubbled forth, a stark juxtaposition to his weariness. "We always meet each other by coincidence, right? I'm a huge fan of yours, so I'm really happy to see you frequently," she declared with infectious enthusiasm. GD, however, remained unresponsive, his steps leading him toward the red carpet area, a retreat in search of solitude amid the glamorous chaos. He sought refuge in the smoking lounge to evade an eager encounter with Hana.

Unresponsive, GD walked ahead to the red carpet area, hoping for a moment of peace. GD sighed again, not paying any attention to her. Why can't she see that he was extremely tired right now? He took a cigarette and lit it up. He really needs some space and peace right now. He took a sip of the smoke and huffed it out.

 —♦—♦—♦—

"What the !!?" He yelled when his smoke was taken from his finger and thrown away into the litterbin by Hana. How dare she confiscate his cigarette? He was shocked; how dare she do that to him? His irritation was evident. How dare she intervene in his personal space? The shock on his face mirrored the abrupt interruption of his momentary escape.

"I'm sorry, but this is a non-smoking area. It's a common space." " she replied, oblivious to the storm of emotions brewing within GD. With a nonchalant demeanour, she returned to him, attempting to diffuse the tension with her trademark bubbly smile.

"What the  is that related to you?" GD gritted his teeth in anger and frustration. The clash of weariness and irritation painted a tumultuous internal landscape. Hana, though taken aback, persisted in her attempt to maintain a cheerful facade.

"I'm sorry. I cannot tolerate cigarette smoke. I hope you don't mind." Her sincere yet clueless apology only served to escalate GD's frustration. He couldn't comprehend how she remained oblivious to his obvious exhaustion and the need for a moment of peace.

"Do you know why I am so irritated with you? Huh? A spoiled brat like you, spends your parents' money to shop in Paris and attend fashion shows. It's just annoying with the addition of your bubbly laugh at every sentence you say. You never failed to irritate me. Your smile irritated me more." GD said while looking straight into her eyes. She shut , looking at him. In complete disbelief. Never once did they break their eye contact after he ended his sentence. The intensity of their gaze held them in a silent standoff, the clash of emotions palpable.

"Don't say a thing about my parents if you don't know  about them." Hana gritted her teeth, her defiance evident as she stepped closer, challenging GD's scathing remarks. The atmosphere crackled with tension as they maintained unbroken eye contact.

"Honey, the car is here," Pablo intervened out of the blue as he walked out of the hall and opened the car door for Hana. "Pablo, check me out of the hotel right now. Find another hotel as soon as possible." She said, sounding stern as she walked to her car. "Hey, honey. What is wrong with you?" Pablo turned to panic, looking at her and got into the car hurriedly. GD shook his head.

GD, shaking his head at the chaos that unfolded, muttered, "Spoiled brat," under his breath. The remnants of his frustration found solace in the discarded box of cigarettes, a symbol of the shattered peace he had sought in vain. As Hana departed, GD was left alone in the wake of an encounter that had unravelled emotions he preferred to keep concealed. He sighed at the sight of Hana's car departing from the venue with a heavy heart.

The hotel lobby buzzed with late-night activity as GD, still lingering with a sense of regret, found himself amidst the hurried exchanges between Pablo and the hotel manager. The hotel staff, clad in polished uniforms, moved gracefully, creating an air of quiet elegance. The atmosphere was subdued, with the hushed tones of conversations and the occasional clinking of glasses.

As the hotel manager approached Pablo, GD's curiosity got the better of him. He listened, eavesdropping on their conversation, trying to unravel the mystery behind Hana's sudden decision to check out. The exchange between the manager and Pablo hinted at an unforeseen predicament, possibly a business deal gone awry, but the specifics remained veiled.

"I didn't know anything. She just wanted to check out from this hotel right now," Pablo confessed, his weary demeanour betraying the toll of the situation. The manager, sensing the urgency, suggested giving Hana some time to reconsider, deferring the discussion to the following day.

"Give this bouquet to Miss Park. We'll talk about this tomorrow," the manager instructed, handing a bouquet of flowers to Pablo before bidding them farewell. GD, standing nearby, observed the scene with a furrowed brow, wondering about the undercurrents that led to Hana's abrupt decision.

As Pablo shared his concerns with GD in the elevator, the weight of the situation was palpable. "If we check out from the hotel right now, it'll be so exhausting. I need to pack everything and settle out some arrangements. That will be a lot of work," Pablo expressed, his anxiety mirroring GD's own unease.

"Why did she want to check out from here?" GD probed, seeking answers. "She's upset about something that I didn't know. Maybe she didn't get a business deal or something," Pablo explained, bowing before exiting the elevator. GD was left pondering, a lingering sense of irritation clouding his thoughts.

—♦—♦—♦—

On the next day, as GD waited for his limousine, the hotel manager engaged in conversation. The mention of an urgent board of directors meeting and an upset investor caught GD's attention. It dawned on him that the investor in question was none other than Park Hana. The revelation added another layer to GD's already conflicted feelings, realizing the potential consequences of his sharp words at the Chanel event.

"Yeah, I've heard that the investor is Park Hana," the manager remarked, oblivious to the internal turmoil GD grappled with. GD's mind flashed back to the encounter at the fashion show, the regret over his choice of words lingering.

With a sigh, GD made his way to the waiting limousine, the knowledge of Hana's role as an investor casting a shadow over his anticipation for the upcoming brand launch. The manager's parting words reminded GD to rest and hang out with friends, but the weight of the recent events lingered.

As GD walked towards the elevator after spending his time with his friends, the familiar scent of Gucci perfume enveloped him, causing him to turn around. Park Hana stood there, an air of seriousness replacing her usual exuberance. Pablo, bidding her goodbye, emphasized his need to meet someone, and the atmosphere between them remained tense.

"Honey, take care, okay? I need to meet someone," Pablo's parting words resonated, and today, Hana donned a more understated Chanel jumper and Levi's jeans, conveying a sense of elegance and distance from the ways she used to dress for the past few days. A Ray-Ban was nicely placed on top of her head, holding her hair from falling to her face. She didn't spare a glance at him at all this time. Her face was serious, with no more traces of the smile that she always showed him. GD's eyes tailed her action behind his shade. GD's gaze followed her, hidden behind his sunglasses, as she entered the elevator without sparing him a glance. The absence of her trademark smile left GD with a sense of emptiness, a silent acknowledgement of the discord that lingered between them.

The door of the elevator opened, and both of them got into the small space together. As the door was almost closed, a man came running into the elevator. Park Hana didn't say a word at all; she was just looking at her phone, and her left hand was busy searching for her card in her sling bag. The other man in the elevator pushed the button for the 17th floor with his face covered by his cap. He stood close behind Park Hana, also observing her movement. The lift stopped moving on the 15th floor, GD and Hana's floor. GD pushed the button open, letting Hana get out of the lift first. But to his surprise, the man with the black cap followed Hana as she got out of the lift.

GD came out of the lift, slowly arranging his steps to his suite. The man's floor was supposed to be on the 17th, but why did he come out on the 15th floor? The 17th floor was supposed to be the presidential suite that only had two rooms on the entire floor. Something suddenly clicked in GD's mind. Dropping all the bags that he carried, he ran toward the opposite way of his room.

"Park Hana!" GD's voice echoed through the corridor, a desperate plea cutting through the air.

A small yelp resonated from the emergency exit stairwell, prompting GD to accelerate his pace. Adrenaline surged through him as he closed the distance, a punch landing on the man who callously held an unconscious Park Hana. The assailant caught off guard and relinquished his grip, pushing Hana into GD's arms before hastily descending the emergency stairs.

"Security!! Security!!" GD screamed out for help, with both of his hands holding Hana tight from falling to the floor. Having no phone on him, he reached for an emergency phone located at the exit. "A person is hurt on the 15th floor. I need help."

As GD screamed for help, the urgency in his voice cut through the air, echoing down the hotel corridor. His heart raced, fueled by a potent mix of adrenaline and concern for the unconscious Hana. The seconds stretched like an eternity as the paramedics and security guards rushed to the scene.

With Hana cradled in his arms, GD felt an unusual surge of protectiveness. He held her close, ensuring she remained secure in his grasp. The fragility of the heiress, normally vibrant and full of life, struck a chord within him. As the paramedics took charge, GD reluctantly released his hold, watching anxiously as they assessed Hana's condition.

"A man tried to hurt her," GD explained tersely, his voice laced with an underlying anger that simmered beneath the surface. The shock of the sudden attack lingered in his eyes, adding an uncharacteristic intensity to his gaze.

While the paramedics attended to Hana, the hotel manager arrived, orchestrating the swift movement to get her to her room. GD's eyes followed her stretcher as it disappeared into the room, a momentary feeling of vulnerability settling in. He nodded in acknowledgement of the manager's gratitude but remained preoccupied with the image of Hana being whisked away. His eyes stayed on the unconscious Hana lying on the stretcher while one paramedic was checking his condition.

"Are you okay, Mr. Kwon?" the manager inquired, concern etched on his face. GD offered a nod, the gravity of the situation still sinking in. His mind raced with the realization that their chance meeting had taken an unexpected turn, plunging both of them into an unforeseen danger.

"Mr. Kwon, our hotel would like to say thank you for saving our biggest investor. So, your stay here will be fully sponsored by us," the manager declared, breaking through GD's contemplation. A fleeting acknowledgement passed between them before GD's manager ushered him away.

GD's manager came walking towards him who was waiting right outside of Hana's room. GD peeked into the room that was filled with the paramedic and the hotel's staff. GD nodded his head and walked to his room.

"Yah, just go to your room. I'm sure nothing bad will happen," GD's manager reassured him, understanding the turmoil beneath the composed exterior. GD cast a final glance at Hana's room; the worry etched on his features momentarily revealing a vulnerability rarely seen.

As he walked to his room, the events unfolded in his mind. The rush of emotions, from the initial irritation to the regret and now the concern, left GD in a state of introspection.

—♦—♦—♦—

After the dramatic rescue on the 15th floor, GD returned to his room, a whirlwind of emotions coursing through him. Someone knocked on his door, and as it swung open, he was greeted by Pablo. "Hey, are you free right now? Miss Park invited you to her room for a short hi-tea," Pablo said, a genuine smile playing on his lips. Without a word, GD nodded and emerged from his room, clad only in a white shirt and shorts.

The atmosphere in Hana's room felt charged as the hi-tea was set on the balcony. GD sat awkwardly, stealing glances at Pablo, awaiting Hana's entrance. The room seemed to hold its breath, filled with unspoken tension. Suddenly, the door opened, and she emerged from the bathroom with a wet face, a stark departure from her usual glamorous self. With unfilled brows and a bare face, she exuded a different, more mature beauty.

GD's heart skipped a beat at the sight of her. Sensing the palpable shift in the air, he couldn't help but charge forward, unable to resist the urge. Ignoring the watchful eyes of Pablo, GD pulled Hana into a hug, his arm instinctively wrapping around her petite shoulder. The proximity felt both comforting and electrifying.

"Thank God, nothing bad happened to you," GD muttered, closing his eyes and savouring the moment. His embrace tightened as if trying to protect her from any harm.

"Ummm... GD-shi," Hana awkwardly patted his back, signalling that he should let her go. However, not allowing GD to touch his boss more, Pablo swiftly stepped in, pulling Hana away from GD's arm. "That's enough," Pablo interjected, creating a physical barrier between them.

GD reluctantly released Hana, though the warmth of their brief embrace lingered in the air. Their eyes met for a fleeting moment, a silent exchange that spoke volumes. In that gaze, a mixture of relief, regret, and unspoken emotions passed between them. It was a moment that resonated, leaving both of them suspended in the uncharted territory of emotions.

As the tension diffused, the hi-tea commenced. Hana sat at the dining area, the atmosphere slowly returning to a semblance of normalcy. Simple cookies and dessert, with hot tea, adorned the table, inviting them to share a moment of respite. GD, though still stealing glances, tried to focus on the food. It was an unfamiliar sight, Hana without her infectious smile and bubbly laughter, yet she sat close.

"I'm sorry for saying bad stuff to you," GD whispered slowly, his voice carrying a tinge of regret. Hana responded with a nod, acknowledging his apology. "It was understandable," she replied, her gaze focused on the tea in her hands. The air between them held a mix of lingering tension and a subtle undercurrent of understanding.

"It is partly my fault. I should've known my boundaries," she added, lifting her head to meet GD's eyes. His sigh mirrored a smile of regret, acknowledging the missteps that had led them to this point.

"I'm just... sorry," GD whispered, extending his hand to touch hers. However, she dodged his touch as she stood up, maintaining a certain distance. "It was understandable," she finally replied, her words carrying a weight that resonated in the room.

The hi-tea concluded, and Hana accompanied GD to the door. Their body language was more composed, yet the unspoken tension lingered. "Is there anything that you wanted as a reward for helping me? I'll try my best to give you whatever you ask for," she offered, her tone measured. GD, sensing the subtle shift in dynamics, couldn't help but feel a twinge of regret for his earlier words at the Chanel show.

"I'll think about what I want," GD replied, his uncertainty mirrored in his gaze. Hana handed him Pablo's number, a final gesture before bidding him farewell. "Call him after you've decided what you want," she instructed, her voice devoid of its previous cheerfulness. GD sighed, realizing that he had indeed messed up, the air heavy with unresolved tension as he left her room.

After parting ways in Paris, G-Dragon and Hana resumed their normal lives, but a connection had formed between them. GD, realizing the importance of Hana's business dealings with YG Entertainment, attempted to make amends for his earlier mistakes. He exchanged multiple phone calls with Hana through Pablo, their mediator, hoping to bridge the gap.

"Hmm?" Pablo hummed irritably as he picked up yet another call from G-Dragon. The persistent artist seemed determined to reach Hana through him.

"Where is Hana?" GD inquired, his arrogance evident in his tone.

"Work," Pablo replied lazily, unimpressed by GD's attitude.

"Did she smile today? I sent her a chocolate bouquet," GD inquired, revealing a softer side beneath his tough exterior.

"She smiles so brightly today. Thanks to you. Can I hang up now?" Pablo requested, growing irritated with GD's frequent calls.

"Anyway, she says thanks and wants you to stop sending her things. She doesn't have space to keep all of your gifts," Pablo conveyed Hana's message.

"Well, I'll stop if she promises to come to my concert, and ... I want her phone number," GD declared, crossing his arms confidently. The negotiation was unconventional, but GD was determined.

"Why should I give you my phone number?" Hana's witty voice chimed in, catching GD off guard. He couldn't help but smile at the thought of her playful response.

"Because I don't want to talk to Pablo," GD replied carelessly, breaking into laughter as he heard Pablo scoffing vehemently from the other side.

"No, you should talk to Pablo because both of you need to work out your attitude issue," Hana teased, her laughter ringing through the conversation. Their banter revealed a new dynamic, a blend of teasing and sincerity hinting at a budding connection.

"It's been three months since the last time I first met you in Paris; you don't have any plans to meet me anytime soon?" GD asked, a playful smile evident in his voice.

"You are the one who told me that you didn't want to meet me," Hana retorted, her response mediated by Pablo's loyal assistance.

"Again?? ... Okay, come to my concert, and I'll tell you what I want as a reward for saving your life back in Paris," GD said, injecting a touch of sweetness into their banter before ending the phone call. The subtle exchange and sweet conversations revealed the shift in their relationship, showcasing a growing connection that transcended their initial encounter in Paris.

Two months later, at the Big Bang concert, the venue was a spectacle of flashing lights, vibrant colours, and pulsating beats. The crowd buzzed with anticipation as the music echoed through the air. The energy was electrifying, and the concert hall was filled to the brim with excited fans.

As Hana entered with her VVIP ticket, the atmosphere was charged with enthusiasm. YG himself had personally handed her the ticket, emphasizing her significant influence as a global investor. Arriving late from Austria, she was keen to catch the last song. Pablo, her ever-dutiful assistant, accompanied her, diligently holding her bag as they manoeuvred through the crowd. Standing upright, she patiently waited, her gaze fixed on the stage.

When GD's voice resonated through the venue, "I've made a decision! I wanted a smile from you." GD said at the mic, causing the crowd to cheer loudly. Hana turned her head back towards the stage, realizing that his words weren't solely for her but for the entire audience. The charisma emanating from GD was palpable, commanding the attention of every person in the room.

"Miss Park Hana, please follow this way." A few men in black came to her exit door and assisted her somewhere. It was a private makeup room. Nobody was there instead of Pablo and her while the man who escorted them was waiting outside. d.

"Did you hear that?" GD's voice echoed from a door, revealing him with a mullet hairstyle. Pablo smiled and left the room, leaving Hana puzzled.

"What?" she questioned. GD shrugged, amusement evident in his eyes.

"I wanted a smile from you as a gift for helping you," he said, tilting his head to align his eyes with hers. Their gazes locked, and she shook her head in disbelief.

"Asking me to smile after you said it's irritating you?" Hana crossed her arms, her eyes unwavering. GD smirked, tapping his feet on the floor and looking at her.

"That's my wish, as a return for helping you," he replied, mimicking her crossed arms. Hana smiled without saying much.

"Wider," he encouraged, stepping closer.

"Wider," he insisted, shaking his head as he moved closer.

"Wider," his approach continued. "What are you trying to do, GD?" she yelped as his face came inches from hers.

"Proving?"

"Proving what???" She asked in a displeased spread on her face.

"Proving that your smile attracted me," he whispered into her ear. Hana flinched, her face flushing red. She pushed him away, bursting into laughter at his amusing demeanour.

As Hana burst into laughter, her eyes squinting in amused disbelief, GD stood before her, a picture of earnest pleading. His lips pressed together, hands clasped as if in supplication, he bore a funny and endearing expression.

"What was that?" she laughed, her joy contagious.

"Today is our Day 1 then," GD declared, seizing her right hand and tenderly kissing it. "I cannot erase your smile from my mind," he confessed, his eyes holding a sincerity that echoed in the room.

"Jiyong!!!" the sudden intrusion of another Big Bang member interrupted, causing both Hana and GD to jump in surprise. "Who is she?"

"My girl. My sunshine," GD proudly declared, pulling Hana closer by the waist.

"Who said that I'll agree?" Hana retorted, prompting GD to envelop her in a warm hug. "I don't care," he replied with a nonchalant charm that made Hana laugh once again.

"I might be your fan, and I like everything about you. But it does not mean that I have a romantic interest in you," she asserted, gently slipping out of his embrace. The other Big Bang member looked on with confusion while Taeyang couldn't contain his laughter. A brief moment of dejection and frustration flashed in GD's eyes, but Hana, undeterred, pulled him into her arm.

"Day 1 it is then," she whispered back to him. The room was filled with warmth and a newfound connection, and GD responded with the brightest smile he had ever given anyone, the radiance reflecting the beginning of something special between them.

As the room exuded a warm and intimate ambience, GD lay snuggled on his bed, his fingers gently caressing Hana's bare shoulder. The tender touch created a subtle but electrifying connection between them. Hana, feeling the soft , turned her body around, her eyes locking onto GD's with a radiant smile.

"Are you excited to see me on stage?" GD inquired, his gaze fixed on Hana, his half-closed eyes reflecting a mixture of playfulness and anticipation.

"Hmm... yes," Hana replied, her big smile mirroring GD's, creating a moment of shared excitement and joy.

Just as the atmosphere grew more tender, Pablo's loud voice abruptly shattered the tranquillity. Without warning, he barged into the room, his intrusion met with collective annoyance from Hana and GD.

"Okay, chop! Chop!" Pablo commanded, disregarding the intimate setting. "She's got a meeting in less than 20 minutes, so let's skip this cuddle session for today."

"Pablo!!!" both Hana and GD protested simultaneously, their annoyance evident in their voices.
