Seulgi’s POV

I was afraid of dying alone.
I had no one.
I’m a patient in Seoul national hospital. Diagnose with stage four, bone cancer.

It was too late for a treatment.
Too late.
I’m pretty much in pain Everyday, my legs were swollen and it’s stiff. When I was in school, I limp Everyday, and I thought it was normal. But it became too painful too bear, and that’s when I went to a hospital and check it. I was then sentence to a death sentence.

My mum decided to put me under palliative care.
A community where Nurses visit those patients at home and give comfort care so they can die off peacefully and comfortably.

I won’t live long.

And the palliative nurse that came to take care of me, had a beautiful pair of eyes, skin as white as snow.

“Hi, my name is Irene. Seulgi, I’ll be here till the end.”

That’s what she said to me. And from then on she tried her very best to nurse me.

I had a tubing an oxygen cannula in my nose to relieve my shortness of breath. I had 4 months left.

I was dying. Until she came.

She place her pair of hands on mines.
“Seulgi, how are you?”

I said, “I’m fine and thank you.”

The next moment.

I was gone. Back into my god’s hands.
