I know I shouldn't be doing this.

I ran my fingers through my hair with a bittersweet smile, my eyes gazing up to the ceiling wondering what I was doing before looking straight ahead.

I knew he wasn't scared.

I knew he could walk home alone.

But I couldn't help it.

I was already at his school, walking quickly down the halls.

I started to wonder what he was doing and if he was thinking about me. My lips curled up into a smile and  warmth enveloped me until I realised that these thoughts were wrong and the corners of my lips fell and I swallowed.

The sound of my high heels hitting the floor with every step echoed through the empty halls. Everyone had gone home and Jiho stayed behind to clean the classroom.

I lifted my phone in my hand and read the message again to get the classroom number. My pace decreased to slow before stopping at the door.

I took a few steps closer and peered through the see-through glass window. His back was facing me and my heart began to race in nervousness. Me and him in a room alone was not a good idea.

He hadn't seen me yet as he was still piling up chairs on the desks.

I could have walked away.

I should have walked away.

But my feet wouldn't move.
