Sooyoung’s POV

Gaaaaaah…what a fulfilling dessert! I tapped my tummy. I’m satisfied with the food. Good thing we stopped here, Yoona. I smiled at her.

How about you Sica? Did you-Wait. Yuri got a napkin and wiped the cream off the corner of Sica’s mouth. There. I guess I don’t need to ask you if you’re satisfied. 

Thanks Yuri-yah. Jessica smiled at Yuri.

I looked away. I can’t stand this view.

We called the waiter and paid up…then A tall, white man approached us. Bonjour Mademoiselles. Vous voulez jouer du piano? 

What did he say? Jessica whispered to Yuri.

He asks us if we want to play the piano…

Who can play the piano?

Ah…monsieur, mon amie peut jouer du piano…Elle est une pianiste…I pointed to Yuri.

What are you doing Soo?? Yuri kicked me from under the table.

C’mon Yul, show us what you got…

I haven’t played the piano for months!

Sheesh…I know that a few months can’t mar your talent.

I looked at Yoona. You’re going to sing?

Yup. She has this weird smile on her face.

I thought you don’t like singing…

I’ll sing just for you…let’s go Yuri. She stood up.

Okay. I got my glass of water and then glanced at the other couple. Before leaving, Yuri whispered something to Jessica. I read her lips. I think Yuri said: This one’s for you. I love you. I scoffed while drinking and the water spilled.

Yah. You okay Soo?

Yeah. I’m fine. I wiped my mouth. Have fun.

Me and Jessica watched the two as they set up on the mini stage inside the café. Yoona asked something to Yuri.

What are they talking about? Jessica asked out of the blue.

I turned to her. I think they’re talking about their song choice. Jessica just nodded and looked back at the two.

Jessica’s POV

Soo didn’t remove her eyes from me. Jessica, you look pale.

Huh? Me? Oh it’s nothing.

Is it because of last night?

Yeah…it’s because of what I saw last night. I think it’s because of the rain…

You should take a rest…her eyes softened…

Omo…she’s worried about me? 

Don’t worry, Yuri’s got my back. I forced a smile

Oh…okay. Then Yoona’s voice radiated throughout the café.

Good day everyone. I’m Yoona…

And I’m Kwon Yuri…

We’re here to sing for you…

Sica…this one’s for you…then Yuri pressed the keys…

Making my way downtown walking fast, faces past and I’m homebound.

Staring blankly ahead, making my way, making my way through the crowd.

And I need you…and I miss you…and now I wonder…

Why didn’t she tell me she can play the piano?

Why? Want her to teach you? Tsk. Don’t you have any talent Jessica? First, you asked me to teach you how to ride a bike…now you want Yuri to teach you how to play the piano?

Yah! FYI, I CAN play the piano. Regarding the bike lessons, you were a lousy teacher Sooyoung. Don’t rub it in. 

Ah…that’s what I get for teaching you?? I had an accident because of you!

Hey, it was an accident. I didn’t mean for it to happen!

Hmpf. Whatever. Sooyoung crossed her arms over her chest. Anyway, Why are you asking why Yul didn’t tell you anything about her piano skills?

I asked because if she told me earlier then…I looked at Yuri…we could’ve made beautiful music together.

I looked at Sooyoung, she suddenly looked weak. What’s with you?

N-nothing…She got her glass of water and drank it almost half-empty.

Then applauses started to fill the café. Yoona and Yuri just finished their song. They bowed in gratitude and went back to our table.
