At the global history lecture hall, Seulgi was busy jotting notes, listening to the professor, while Sehun kept twirling his pen with his fingers, leaned back against his seat. Seulgi didn’t understand. Sehun showed zero effort during class, but whenever they studied together, he would miraculously remember the lecture and made note of important things to know for the test. And he gets higher scores than Seulgi.

 

So ing unfair.

 

“...And now I’ll play this movie that accurately portrays what the war was like. It might be a little graphic, just to warn you,” the professor slipped the disk in as Sehun leaned closer to Seulgi.

 

“Are you sure you can handle this? Do you need to step outside?” Sehun teased with the most obnoxious tone Seulgi has ever heard.

 

“Of course I can handle this,” Seulgi rolled her eyes at him, but he didn’t miss the slight wince she had once the movie started rolling.

 

And Sehun turned out to be right, as always.

 

Right when the gory parts started, Seulgi spent more time hiding behind her hands than watching the movie. Sehun’s pretty sure she doesn’t even know how the main character looks like. He couldn’t help but just watch her in amusement.

 

(And he didn’t want to admit it, but he thought it was cute.)

 

After the class was over, Sehun couldn’t help but take the chance to annoy his friend.

 

“You know, I think movies are supposed to be watched with your eyes and not your hands,” Sehun caught up to Seulgi as she glared at him.

 

“What are you talking about? I was watching through my fingers.”

 

“No, you weren’t, you liar.”

 

“Shut up,” Seulgi said in her annoyed-but-kinda-joking tone.

 

“We’ll see who’s laughing tonight after we write the reflection paper on the movie,” Sehun winked at her, and she scowled at him, wanting to wipe away his obnoxious grin.

 

(Which was basically the only grin he possessed.)

“What time did you sleep last night?” Sehun watched in amusement as Seulgi propped her backpack on the library table and used it as pillow.

 

“Late. Really ing late. But at least I finished that paper.”

 

“Yeah, thanks to my help,” Sehun poked Seulgi’s resting head. She sluggishly supported her chin with her fists as she sleepily looked at her friend.

 

“What?”

 

“Nothing,” Sehun shrugged. Seulgi groaned as her  face fell down against her backpack. Sehun let out a victorious smirk after successfully annoying her.

 

“Wake me up when our classes start,” the girl let out a small yawn as she comfortably laid her head on top of her arms. Sehun only rolled his eyes and continued to browse his phone. After a while, he looked up, and his face softened seeing Seulgi peacefully sleeping.

 

(She kinda sorta looked cute.)

 

He opened up his camera app and snapped a pic of Seulgi’s face, chuckling silently as he stared at the image.

 

(Okay, maybe a lot cute.)

 

He supposed he could use the picture as future blackmail material later anyway.

 

(Even though it was one of the least embarrassing photos he had of her.)

If there was one thing Seulgi hated, it would be school assemblies. If there was something she hated more than school assemblies, it would be speeches. Lots and lots of speeches.

 

Well, at least she wasn’t the only one. Everyone in the audience looked like they wanted to be anywhere but here. Seulgi had stopped listening the moment the first speaker introduced themselves.

 

She turned to Sehun and was surprised that he was fast asleep, his head slightly bent down. She stifled her laughter and turned her attention back towards the front. All of a sudden, she felt a weight against her shoulder and saw Sehun’s head resting on it.

 

She was going to wake him up, but then decided to let him be. His soft hair brushed the side of her neck and even though her shoulder started to feel a bit numb, she slightly moved Sehun’s head so he was more comfortable.

 

Ugh, the things I do for you.

“Here, I’ll give you one,” Sehun grabbed her wrist and wrote OH SEHUN IS A BEAST on it. The girl just rolled her eyes.
