I've been in many roleplays, and I know people always says this, but it's true - Roleplays has just changed into just another texting world. There's no essence of 'roleplaying' in it, no one makes the effort to actually create a new world, far different from your own reality. They mix their own personality, in real life, with their faceclaim. They never try to do their reasearch on the actual person, before deciding to be them, they end up only picking someone who looks good and are popular. I want to make a roleplay that actually emphasises making friendships, enemies, families, etc - because that's how things work, I want this place to be an escape from reality and encourages others to improve their creative writing. not crack roleplay, 24/7, yes I know, it's not fun to roleplay in a serious manner, every second, so I will personally make sure there are ways you can also crack roleplay, from time to time. That just won't be the main purpose of this world, okay!

Welcome to Pura Vida. Here we play real people as they were meant to be: real people. Here, our face claims are replicas of the real-life idol. You go to work at your entertainment agency, you walk catwalks, you have set schedules to film variety shows- This will be as realistic as possible. Provide a home for youself, to meet others and create a life beyond your career. Become a chef on the side, date a model from Japan, go to bars after recording, this world is at your manipulation. Idols will interact and make friends, enemies, and lovers of one another. This is meant to be a family.
Although this is non-AU, we will have AU events every few weeks, so don’t feel like you’ll be confined to idol life. All ualities are welcome. Please abide by the fully literate rule. Plotting is highly encouraged.
001. This is a fully literate roleplay, meaning one-liners are not allowed except for SNS. Please only use that there and when OOC. Use brackets when talking OOC.
002. Drama is allowed IC since this is a realistic roleplay; it must be consented to. Absolutely no drama OOC. If you have a conflict with another member, please tell an admin.
003. All orientations are welcome. It is unfair to assume an idol is straight or gay, so interpret them however you want.
004. You have 48 hours to show you are active upon joining. This doesn’t mean PM and changing pictures. Please interact with others through groups and walls.
005. There will be an activity check every three weeks. Must be active at least 4 days of the week
006. There is a two week dating ban and two month marriage ban. Move in couples are welcome. Password is who you look up to in life. One month pregnancy ban after marriage, no mpreg.
007. You may have a second account after you prove to be active on your first and let us know before making an account so we can add it to our notes. If we need more of one gender then you can be the same gender otherwise we won't allow you. Also you can't choose another face claim from the same group.
008. Harassment/bullying/outcasting is not allowed and you will be kicked out and put on the ban list if we find you doing this.
009. ATTENDING AND PARTICIPATING IN EVENTS IS MANDATORY. After missing the first one, you will be warned. Missed again and you will be kicked out.
010. Hiatuses may only last up to 2 weeks.
011.You will be given 3 days for you to do research on your faceclaim and provide a note on them filled with their bio, personality and anything you would like us to know, for us to roleplay with you. And also make a note for your home/dorm where so you can invite and visit others.
012. Plotting is highly encouraged!

MNET'S PARTY PEOPLE / To kickstart our grand opening, the first event will be a party where idols, actors, and just about anyone else that's a celeb can mingle and break the ice.It's hosted by Mnet but will not be broadcasted for everyone to see. We want our celebs to be able to relax and be themselves without the public eye glaring down on them. Of course, for the fans, there will be a red carpet for the celebs to walk on so they can take as many pictures as they want there. It is mandatory that everyone participates.
