“Did you know he called out for you?”

 “The doctors say there’s a high chance he won’t remember anything.”

The resounding steady beat of the heart monitor resonated through the room as the man stood there, his face etched in sorrow as he stared at the figure lying on the bed.

“Jagiya, I am here,” he muttered softly as he bit his lip to prevent the tears from falling down his face.

The chair on the other side of the hospital bed let out an angry squeak and he looked up, startled to see the intense eyes that were boring into his face.

“You’ve lost all right to call him that, sunbaenim,” the last word came out sarcastically, and he flinched slightly, swallowing thickly.

“I –”

“Seongwoo hyung, I apologize on his behalf,” a soft voice muttered, standing up tugging the other down.  “Hyungseob is just worried about hyung.”
