170513 Another day     When she woke up without him by her side, she guessed that he would be working in his studio again. She hadn’t bothered to check - he didn’t like when anyone disturbed his momentum. In her own silence, she ate a quick breakfast on her own. She thought about whether or not he would want to eat lunch then decided that she would just go to the supermarket anyway. She left a glass of juice on the table and a brief note for him in case he came out while she was gone.   She came back within an hour to see the table empty, the juice gone and the glass washed. That’s one less cup of coffee he’d be drinking today, she thought. Smiling to herself, she set out to put away the new groceries. She hummed to the music in her head, her feet light as she moved about the kitchen. It was soon time to prepare for their next meal. Again, with a practiced skill, she whipped up simple dishes for lunch.   Coffee in hand, she tiptoed across the house towards his studio room. Without knocking, she opened the door slightly and stole a peek inside. Sure enough, he was huddled over his computer with his headphones on. She hit a knuckle on the door, once, twice. If he heard her, he made no indication of it though it was most probably that he hadn’t noticed her presence. She sighed and let herself in. Gently, she replaced his empty cup on the table with the fresh coffee she’d made. She contemplated tapping his shoulder to get his attention but he seemed to be quite focused on the track he had playing on the computer. Sighing again, she picked up a pencil from out of his view and wrote something on a random sticky notepad she found.   Lunch.   The note was straight to the point. Taking another glance at him, she stuck the note onto the coffee cup and turned to leave the room. She took but two steps before her hand is tugged backwards and she fell onto him.
