Smiles, happiness and joy in between

When the sun shimmers above me deliberately waving

I laughed, on how happy it seems

And so you laughed too

Not noticing the feels kept hidden within

Then a day comes where tears streamed down my cheeks, I seek

But you were nowhere, iconic

As the black colored paint started taking over the entire picture

I curled up in a world I don’t want people to enter

“Where are you?”

Responded by only an echo

And so like the shadows,

You stick with me during my brightest

Then disappear when I’m at my darkest moments
