I have never defied anyone.

All my life, all I did was do whatever I was told; do whatever they wanted me to whether I like it or not. Because I was born to follow ― to never break the rules.

And I did. I avoided making friends; I avoided any attention; I avoided the world. 

But this time, I won't. Not anymore.

I knew he was special — the choice I never knew I had.

My sweet escape.

As he leaned closer, I closed  my eyes and welcomed him, ready to let go and break free. I knew what I was doing; I would take the risk.

I would seal this fate with him. We would defy this world, this life, together ― whether they like it or not.
