Hello there.

I’ve been putting this off for a long time because I didn’t know how to say it, but I’ve decided I need to explain why I had to put this story on hiatus.

This is the starting point: it hasn’t been shown yet in the chapters that are published, but this story, and series that it is to be a part of, deals strongly with suicide and the effects of suicide and death on the world. When I began writing this story I figured it would raise awareness of suicide and how prevalent it is in today’s society, and continued writing it as part of the larger story.

That was until suicide took the life of a man that I admired as a musician and creative artist ever since I first heard his incredible voice as a child.

This changed everything I thought about this story and I stopped writing it. I needed to rethink how I wanted to present this story to the world. Suicide is not something that I can casually add to stories for the sake of a plotline, I realized.

To those subscribed to this story, I apologize for the maybe permanent hiatus. I would like to continue this story, but for now, it will remain unfinished.
