She looked up eagerly as she heard the tinkling of bells, and the minute Jungkook walked through that cafe door, she knew it was going to happen.
Maybe it was just women’s intuition, maybe it was just her trustworthy gut feeling. But did it really matter?
“Hi Jungkook.” She gave a tired but bright smile, masking any negative feelings she had as soon as his figure approached her table and pulled out a chair. “What's up?”
“Oh- um- how about we- um- order a drink first?” He spoke nervously, looking at anywhere but her face. If that wasn't already a sign that something was clearly wrong with him, then Yeri didn't know what was. She ignored the warning signs in her head, signaling the waitress over.
After their orders were taken, Yeri cocked her head at him, waiting for him to break the silence and state why he wanted them to meet up so suddenly. But he seemed to be in his own world, staring deeply off to the side with a frown on his face.
“Jungkook?” She called out gently, waving a hand in front of him. His attention snapped back onto her immediately, but for some reason, Yeri felt like she shouldn't let him start the talking. She would. So she began to chat freely about how cranky her pregnant geography lecturer was becoming lately, how Wendy had finally gotten a boyfriend, how the new girl in her biology class always seemed to give her y stares, how her brother was being
