Smile Again

Caiti Jeon looked around the mall. Her mother had left her there on a bench while she went shopping. Her mother had squealed when she'd seen all the stores. At least....she thought she had. She hadn't actually heard it. It was kind of hard to when you were deaf. That's right. Caiti Jeon was 100% deaf. Nothing to smile about whatsoever. Why had her mother brought her here? Now, all she wanted to do was go home. I hate you, Korea!

Song Mino looked around the mall. What am I doing here? He thought. I should be in the studio trying to come up with song lyrics. Instead, I'm wandering through some stupid shopping mall. With his friend, Nam Taehyun, pulling out of their group due to health issues, he felt like he'd just lost part of himself. The entire mall was decorated for Christmas but he hardly noticed it. Is there anything to be happy about anymore? Anything to smile over?

*This was inspired by the WINNER song 'Smile Again.' I went on a trip to see family and just felt like writing something. This will be a oneshot unless plans change. Any of you who might be reading my other stories- don't worry. I will be continuing them :)
