it is still a wonder to Taeyeon how SNSD's dressing room ends up with Super Junior members inside,
and how an automatic pairing of one soshi to one suju is always generated. Like how Tiffany is with
Siwon having the conversation the latter regrets having.

"Siwon-oppa!" Tiffany crossed-arms stands in front of the erring Choi Siwon. "I can't believe you'll 
publicly say bad words. The internet, of all places!"

Taeyeon sits just across her bestfriend who looks obviously disappointed. Tiffany and Siwon gained
the name 'Divine Couple' (courtesy of Kim Heechul, there is no other) for a reason, being the most
religious in the secret organization of SMTowners who are dating, and no one can take from Tiffany
the right to feel this way towards the unorthodoxical actions of her boyfriend.

"I know it's too much already," she calms as her hands lock with Siwon's and slowly sits down beside
him, the other hand caressing his hair. "But you are Super Junior's Siwon. My boyfriend is more than
that, am I right?"

Unlike Tiffany, Taeyeon was never the dominant in their relationship, but neither was Jungsoo. Perhaps
being together for years had helped them know the other well, in moody days and hyperactive times.
Of course inside of it all, deep beyond the caked-up faces and god-like endowments, Super Junior and
Girls' Generation are human too and this happening tonight reminded Taeyeon how human they still are.

This wasn't another 'backstage unofficial dating' thing. Super Junior is having a rough time and now
more than ever do they need those cheesy lines and quality moments from them. The girls are doing
pretty well in this challenge Taeyeon calls in her head as Sowoneul Malhaebwa. For starters, outside
Hyoyeon is making Eunhyuk happy by playing around quirky dance steps, Yuri is pulling a prank on
Yesung, Sunny is having an aegyo battle with Sungmin while Donghae and Jessica (who, in her own
opinion, is trying to pick up where they left) are in agreement to put a stop to all aegyos. And, wow,
Seohyun is doing an A+ job wiping sweat on Kyuhyun's face.

She wonders what method is best to use on her J (Leeteuk)... if only he isn't missing.

"Aigoo," she exhales in relief seeing her intuition on Leeteuk's whereabouts is right (and that he wasn't
calling other people she doesn't want to mention). "Uri Shyupeo Jyunio leader is angry!"

Sometimes, Taeyeon hates herself for choosing the wrong words at the wrong times. Leeteuk doesn't
look at her and it doesn't help that it makes her feel even more farther to him despite the fact that they
are alone in Super Junior's dressing room. Or maybe she is just letting the variety show get into her head.

Or maybe because she doesn't really have anything to say to make him feel better because she partly
feels responsible, like how the internet would like SNSD to appear. This is sad. Taeyeon did not know
they are drifting apart this fast, so quick; this far, so distant.

She tries anyway.

"If..."

Leeteuk's body is remained buried in the sofa but she got his eyes' attention.

"If I go closer to you," she sings her way only to receive a what the hell look from the angry bird.
Though it's better to call him an angry duck since his pout looks like one. "I wonder what you may
think?" the ending tones up into a question.

He sighs, a bit of curve tugging up at both ends of his lips and ultimately pats the space on the sofa.

Taeyeon smiles and sits quietly beside him, two and a half inches apart because she knows Leeteuk
wants to be alone, but she doesn't want to, so they have to compromise with a space of two and a
half inches.

Also, Leeteuk doesn't like speaking when he is angry, but Taeyeon wants to cheer him up, so she
guesses they have to compromise again with her interjecting silly, lame jokes every once in a while.
She takes her iPhone out and plays angry birds instead after a forever of unresponsiveness from him.

"Omo!"

"..."

"Oppa, look!"

"...?"

"Look, look!"

"...?!"

"NEORAGO! (neorago) (neorago)" yes, she did sing it.

Leeteuk sighs. "Taeyeon-ah--"











She hugs him.












Tight.


(She missed it.)


(She missed him.)


(She missed them.)






"Oppa, I'm sorry," is the only words she could tell him even though the reality is there are more words
she would have wanted to tell him, more things she would have wanted to share, more thank you's and
I missed you's and hello's and I love you's. But maybe he'd heard them all now after being so distant
from the past months. Maybe he hears her now that the two inch gap between them has been bridged by
her to him. Maybe he is hearing now those which she had abandoned and didn't say. Maybe.

He wouldn't be hugging her back if he doesn't, wouldn't he?

"I would have tweeted something too, you know." Seohyun stops wiping his face and gives Kyuhyun
a slightly meeting eyebrows (because really, no one wants Seohyun's eyebrows to meet). He knows
better.

"Glad you didn't."

"Yeah. Really glad I didn't."
