That day

I was standing in the middle of the rain infront of my now ex-boyfriend, I had found out he was cheating on me just a week ago but, I pretend not to know since I don’t want for us to end. I love him with all my heart… he was my everything but, here he is dumping me in the middle of the rain on Valentine’s Day. I was thankful that day rain honestly, I didn’t want him to know that I was crying. He’s a really nice guy and I know our fire had died down a long time ago but, I just can’t seem to accept it. I walk down the street of Seoul lifeless and wet. I felt like the rain was my only companion right now. I looked up to the sky and let out a deep sigh. Tears streaming out of my eyes. “Should I grab a drink?” I know that everybody is probably looking at me weirdly but, my mind was blank and I just want get out this hell hole called life right now. I walked to the nearest bar with my hair drenched and my pink dress soiled. I thank the heavens that at least I wore water-proof make up. “The strongest drink you have, please” the bartender looked at me side-eyed but, do his job anyway. I gulped the alcohol in one shot and raised my hand asking the bartender for more.

I was in my fifth glass when a guy came over and sat beside me. I didn’t bother to look at the guy, I just raised my hand again and the bartender sighed. I chuckled lowly I bet he thinks I don’t have any money to pay any of this but, I stayed silent looking at my empty glass. The guy on my side ordered something but, I couldn’t hear what he said clearly. After a few minutes, the bartender came with 2 glasses, he pushed a glass infront of me and the other one to the guy by my side. I was about to gulped the drink when I realized that it was just water. I looked at the bartender “Where’s my alcohol?” he looked over to the guy beside me and I could see him playing with the glass of alcohol in his hand. “You shouldn’t drink so much little lady” I looked at him obviously pissed “ off” I waved my hand to the bartender and the bartender sighed and walk to the back to grab me a drink. “Did your boyfriend dumped you or something?” I didn’t bother to share that stranger a glance “Didn’t you hear what I said? OFF” he chuckled and the bartender came back with a bottle of alcohol. I chuckled once more I guess he’s tired going back and forth. I was about to pour myself a drink when the stranger snatch the bottle of my hands.
