“All I want for Christmas is youuuuuuuu…but obviously I can’t because you have a full schedule on Christmas daaaaaaaay~”

Taemin raised his eyebrows and looked at the girl with headsets next to her and took one of her headsets off

            “I’ve never heard any songs like that before, composing a new one Sungyeon-ah?”

Sungyeon nodded her head

            “It’s about a girl who is left behind by her boyfriend on Christmas day because obviously her boyfriend’s boyband is having a full schedule on Christmas AND on New Year”

Taemin winced his eyes and pinched Sungyeon’s cheeks

            “Yah…you know I want to spend Christmas with you, it’s not my fault if SM wanted to torture me”

Sungyeon pouted instinctively and turned her head away from the blonde haired boy

            “I want to spend Christmas with Kai! I bet he’s free!”

            “YAH YAH YAH! Kai’s off limit! He’s busy for his debut!”

Sungyeon whined and crossed her arms

            “But I don’t want to spend Christmas alone…”

Taemin pulled Sungyeon into a tight hug and kissed her head

            “I’ll try my best to be here on Christmas, arasso?”

Sungyeon woke up feeling giddy…until she turned to her side and saw the empty space on her bed

            “Merry Christmas Minnie…”

Sungyeon sighed and got up preparing herself for a lonely Christmas, meanwhile, somewhere above the Atlantic Ocean Taemin is on his way to Japan for some schedule which he is sure will worn him out, even though he know it was against the rule to use his phone inside the plane, still he took it out and started to type in a short text message to the girl who’s been filling up his mind

            “Morning Sungyeon-ah…wakey wakey! Merry Christmas, saranghaeyo~”

And not long after, a reply came, Taemin opened it and he chuckled…then pouted, making his hyungs look at him with weird stares

            “Yeah yeah…morning, merry Christmas Minnie…WAIT YOU’RE ON A PLANE! TURN OFF YOUR PHONE YOU IDIOT IT’LL FALL AND MY BELOVED ONEW OPPA WILL FALL”

            “SHINee! You all have a 30 minutes break until your next schedule”

Taemin changed into his casual clothes as fast as he could and ran out of the dressing room, SHINee’s manager who knew Taemin’s intention of running away was guarding in front of the dressing room chased Taemin out of the halls of Tokyo Dome screaming Taemin’s name, making the other artists turn their head to the two. But, being the ‘monkey boy’ Taemin is, his lightning speed was no match for manager hyung’s weak strength.

            “Hyung…I gotta go! I’ll see you tomorrow at the dorm!”

Taemin sneaked in into the backyard, trying hard to hold his laughter after hearing Sungyeon’s singing of Mariah Carey’s All I Want for Christmas Is You. He decorated the backyard with lights and hung mistletoe and smiled to himself when he’s done. He went outside towards his car and pulled out a huge box decorated with red and green ribbons and a huge teddy bear and placed it in front of the front door. He went inside the box and pressed the bell twice.

            “Yeeeeeessss? Who’s thereee?”

Sungyeon ran towards the door, hoping it was somebody sent from heaven to accompany her on this lonely Christmas, but when she saw the big box in front of her door all she did was stare at it. She took a little peek before finally jumping back in surprise when a teddy popped out of the box

            “Merry Christmas Sungyeon-ah!”

Sungyeon who’s now sitting on the floor looked up to see a huge teddy with the voice of Taemin talking to her

            “Y-you talk Mr. Teddy?”

            “Yes, I do!”

Taemin peeked out behind the teddy and smiled at the shocked girl in front of her

            “MINNIEEEEEEEEE…wait…you still have schedules...”

            “I…umm…manager hyung lets me go?”

            “You ran away didn’t you?!”

            “Hey…at least I’m here right? Be grateful will you?”

Taemin stepped out of the box and hugged Sungyeon tightly which Sungyeon replied with an even tighter hug.

            “I decorated the backyard! You’ll love it!”

            “H-huh? When did you do that?”

            “A few minutes ago…I’m a ninja you know”

Taemin chuckled and hold Sungyeon’s hands and lead her to the backyard. There was flashing lights from the trees around the backyard, a little table and 2 chairs with candy canes, ginger bread and greentea ice creams stacked on the table. Sungyeon’s mouth curved into a perfect ‘O’ and her eyes lit up with excitement

            “Woah… Minnie...you did all this?”

Taemin backhugged her and rests his head on her shoulders

            “Of course, you like it?”

Sungyeon nodded and turn to Taemin

            “Mmhm! Very!”

Taemin looked up and pulled Sungyeon closer

            “Sorry for not spending Christmas with you Sungyeon-ah…I hope this will make up for it”

Taemin leaned down and kissed Sungyeon softly on the lips which make Sungyeon’s cheeks to turn pink. Taemin pulled away and cups Sungyeon’s face in his hands

            “Sungyeon-ah…merry Christmas…saranghae”
