What brought them close was the weight of their hearts, the air they breathe was crisp and cruel for two kids who had to grow up too soon. One's loss was big, and the other's was infinite.

Foreword

It's late at night as I trace with my eyes features that I wish belonged to someone else. The dim golden light coming from the bed stand makes them look almost surreal, but it fails to make my heart beat faster.

My phone rings disturbing the serene silence of the night and the soft snores coming from beside me. I contemplate not answering- I don't wanna wake my companion up.

I was about to press reject but then I saw what time it is and my heart almost stopped.

2:22 am. Only one person calls at this time.

Before I tell you my story you need to realize that this is no fairytale, it dose not end with they lived happily-ever-after, nor it is a romantic story with a prince charming, though there is love, a bit twisted and misguided. So, if you're looking for magic and happy endings this is not a tale of your taste. This is reality, and reality has always been bittersweet.
