“Wae? Wae? Wae?” Bi asked as Hanbin pulled her into a room

“Woah, what room is this?” Bi muttered looking at the room she had never, like ever, noticed in the house she had moved in.

“It’s my room” Hanbin said

“You stay here?” Bi asked, surprised

“Just on vacations…just listen, I have a favor to ask you” Hanbin said as Bi looked at him

“Is it that important that you had to drag me here?” she asked awkwardly

“What’s it?” Bi added

“For our debut, I was told to suggest a stage name for myself” Hanbin said as Bi nodded

“And I wanted it to be B.I…give me your approval” Hanbin said as Bi looked at him

“What should you need my approval?” she asked as Hanbin sighed a bit

“Because I am stealing your name” Hanbin said as Bi chuckled a bit

“You have my approval…B.I” she smiled as Hanbin heaved a sigh

“Geumawo” he said scratching the back of his head

“We’ve know each other for nearly a month now and we see each other every day, as I friend I need to do at least that” Bi chuckled as Hanbin nodded smiling

“Are you composing a song?” Bi asked looking at the plain song sheet with just the heading written – “Apology”

“Ah…I need to get started on that but I don’t know how to” Hanbin said as Bi looked at him, taking the sheet on her hand and sat down on the bed

“I lack experience and then we all have to write a song each and I got to write a sad song” HanBin said

“We?” Bi asked

“Our band mates…we were given a title each and so we have to make a song out of that” HanBin said as Bi smiled

“I hope you guys do well on the wedding as well….” Bi said excitedly

“I hope so” Hanbin chuckled awkwardly

“Can I share a story then? So that it may serve as an inspiration…?” Bi asked as HanBin looked at her

“Now?” Hanbin asked as Bi nodded smiling a bit

Hanbin sat on the chair, facing her as Bi placed the song sheet on the table and smiled

“You know…they say, to love is to get a glimpse of heaven. It really is…to love and to be loved is an amazing feeling.” Bi started smiling at him as Hanbin stared at her

“Though we love someone so much, the person who doesn’t love us leaves us instead of us leaving them. It should be them who should be apologizing but we are the ones who do.” She continued

“Just when we ask for the slightest attention, they get mad. It’s always about them…though they keep breaking their promise, you always forgive. Though we keep telling ourselves that we should keep away, we end up missing them more” Bi smiled

“When we ask them what’s wrong, they say they are busy, that they can’t talk with you right now… they are always away, you are the one who is waiting. Then they leave us… they leave the one who is always waiting. And tells them…”

Bi paused as she remember the incident from 8 months ago. How Yunhyeong broke up with her, those words she never spoke to with anyone, those pain she had been hiding in her scarred heart. Those words he said that night, which she clearly remembered

“They say…“I’m sorry…. I’m sorry I couldn’t protect you… I hope you’ll be well.”

They say- “I hope you forget me as well. And even though it hurts, our promise to be together no longer exists. I’m sorry I couldn’t protect it.”

Hanbin stared at Bi as she spoke those words with a shaky voice and that sad note he had seen it before, yet with a smile.

He was sure it was her… Yunhyeong’s ex girlfriend. Hanbin stood up as he took a deep breath

“But I hope you can be happy, Bi-ah.” She ended as she looked down, her tears threatening to fall when Hanbin hugged her.

“I’m here” Hanbin said as Bi breathed

“M-mianhae” she muttered pulling away as Hanbin pulled her tighter
“Kwenchanna” he said as memories of Yunhyeong flashed in her mind

About how she had been hurting because of him…

Hanbin stood there hugging her the whole time. Hanbin pulled away and looked at her as she smiled a bit

“M-Mianhae” she said embarrassed

“Jebal” he smiled a bit as Bi awkwardly turned away

“Mi-Mianhae jongmal…” she muttered as HanBin shook his head

“I’m glad you talked to me about it” he smiled as Bi looked away

“I guess I should head to bed” she said as Hanbin grabbed her hand

“Are you sure you’ll be okay?” he asked as Bi paused

“yeah” she smiled as Hanbin walked towards her and looked at her

“I’ll be right here if you need me” he said as Bi looked at him and nodded

Hanbin looked at Bi walk away as he sighed

“Why am I so worried about you?” he muttered.

Bi walked out of Hanbin’s room and slowly out of the house, where her legs took her.

Bi kept walking as the sky matched her mood – her mind flashing with his face.

*Ani Ani Cha Hyunbi, stop thinking about him* she chanted in her mind. Bi kept on walking as she remembered him- Song Yunhyeong, the one who left her and went away.
