Falling Petals.

Dear Kwon Yuri,

You gave me those flowers and told me to wait for you; and I did, simply because I trust you. You promised that you’ll come back before all those petals fall from the ground.

I waited until the last petal slowly drifts its way down the ground.

Funny how you gave me hopes, but also took it away yourself. Funny how you were the reason why I started to trust someone again, but you will also be the one reason why I wouldn’t ever again.

You gave me those flowers and told me you’ll comeback before those petals break away; but you didn’t.

I now understand why they call this feeling ‘falling in love’, as I literally did just fall in love with you. I fell deeper but you weren’t there to catch me because you didn’t comeback.

As those petals fall diligently one by one; leaving the stem that held unto them. I realized that it made us alike, I was the stem and you were the petals, I held unto your given hope but you drift away from me; just like those falling petals, we both knew we wouldn’t last.
