It’s almost noon and waking up to the sound of my parents’ uproar is never likely the best way to start my day.

I have no choice but to shove my body out of bed and check the living room to see what the ruckus is all about.

At the sight of the reason why my parents are arguing my body freezes instantly.

Sehun..

. I almost forgot. He’s taking me out on a date.

“Oh there you are, Hana! Good morning! Sehun just arrived. Did we wake you up?” my father asked.

Then I realized I haven’t washed up and neither combed my hair yet, “Tell me I look like a monster.”

“Nope. You look cute. My favorite monster.” Sehun teasingly smiles, wriggling his eyebrows.

“Ugh Sehun!” I whined.

“Cheese is not an ingredient for Kung Pao Chicken so go and wash up while we prepare dinner for us later.

Don’t let your prince charming wait!” my mother said as she snatched my father with her towards the kitchen.

A grumble escaped my lips as I stomp my foot because of what my mom said.

“Hey, chill. Do I not look like a prince charming to you?” Sehun asked as he slowly walked towards me.

“No. Obviously we both know that you look like a larva more than a prince.” I and stuck my tongue out.

“You little monste—“

Before Sehun could grab my waist, I stormed off upstairs towards my room and shouted, “Wait for me, Prin—LarvaHun!”

After preparing for almost two hours, I am slowly walking down our stairs. I can hear the sound of my heels clicking.

I decided to wear a knee-length dress printed with small hearts on the lower part and the upper half is printed in plain pink.

My hair is done nicely and I applied a little blush-on on my cheeks and lip balm on my lips to at least make myself look pretty for Sehun.

 “Whoa.” Sehun said in awe when he finally saw me.

“Don’t whoa me.” I said as I shyly straightened my dress.

“Ready?” Sehun probe as he held out his arms for me to hold.

A smiled at Sehun as I replied, “Ready.”

“Bring her home before dinner, okay!” my dad said as he winked at Sehun.

“Dad, I saw that.” I chuckled.

“Yes, abeoji I will!” Sehun replied excitingly.

 

Sehun had already mapped his plans out for this day.

After waiting for months, after everything is settled,

“She’ll be the happiest woman on earth tonight.” Sehun thought.

Sehun and I came across a bubble tea shop and went inside to buy drinks.

“One honey dew and one chocolate bubble tea please.”

“Really, now? Bubble teas? For a date?” I teased.

“Milk teas are your favorite too though. Don’t start complaining or I’ll kiss you.” Sehun provoked.

I gaped at Sehun and slapped his arm. “Aish.”

You know you can’t.

“Here’s your Honey Dew mi ’lady. Now off to our real date!” Sehun exclaimed.

 

Sehun intended to bring me to Lotte World but because of the semi-formal dress I am wearing, he decided to bring me to N Seoul Tower.

“I’ve always wanted to visit this place you know.” I softly said.

“Really? Good thing then I brought you here.” Sehun whispered as he wraps his arm around my waist from the back.

I froze from his sudden action and I blurted out, “Wait Sehun, let’s get some food. I’m hungry.”

Of course it has always been him. Sehun sighs and smiles dejectedly.

“Hey, Larva Prince!” I called. “Don’t start sulking and come here. Let’s eat and afterwards we’ll put our locks ‘kay?” I hollered.

Hyung, you’re such a lucky . Sehun thought before he skipped towards Hana.

“Coming, babe!”

 

After eating, we finally arrived at the shop where we can get the locks.

“This one is cute!” I squealed.

“But it looks like it can be easily broken. Our friendship must not be broken! It can’t be broken!” Sehun pretended to be hurt as he clutched his chest.

“Stupid. Okay then let’s buy what you got there.” I uttered.

“Yay! Locking is the best!” Sehun excitingly stated.

I shook my head as I followed Sehun.

 

“There. It’s safely locked now.” Sehun said.

“Yes it is. Sehun?” I called.

“Hm?” Sehun replied.

“Thank you. For this. For everything.” I lifted my hand and Sehun’s cheek.

“Hana please. ‘Nuff with drama. And it’s almost time already. I should send you home.” Sehun took my hand and we made our way out of N Seoul Tower.

During the ride bus home, I noticed that Sehun is already drifting off to sleep but he is holding back his drowsiness.

I placed his head on my shoulder and let him sleep for a while.

Thank you, Oh Sehun.

“As promised, I’ll bring you home early.” Sehun said as he scratched the back of his head.

“You never break your promises.” I smiled sweetly at Sehun.

“Yep. And I promised a friend to make you happy until tonight.” Sehun said.

“What? I- I don’t understand Sehun.”

“Just go inside. He’s waiting.” Sehun commanded. He slowly walked towards me and kissed my forehead.

“I’m sorry, Sehun. You know we can’t—“

“Shh. Goodnight. I hope you had fun today, Princess. Now, go inside before he gets mad at me. Enjoy the rest of the night.”

I did what Sehun said.

Before I finally enters our house, I waved goodbye to Sehun,

“Goodnight Sehun. Take care.. and thank you!”

I quietly closed the door and before I could even turn around,

 

“Ahh you’re 5 minutes late. Tsk.”

I can fully recognize that voice; my man’s angelic, soft, and alluringly handsome voice, which never fails to make my heart beat thrice the normal,

my personal favorite. The only voice I would like to hear before I sleep and wake up in the morning.

“What are you doing here?” I asked while my voice is trembling. I can’t comprehend everything at once. I can’t face him.

I felt strong arms hug my waist from behind. I felt warm lips kissing my hair then I slowly gripped the strong arms that embraces me.

I sighed from his grip and uttered, “I missed you, so so much. Luhan.”

“Mhhhm I missed you too. God I miss holding you like this.” Luhan closed his eyes and he just let his body feel mine.

“When did you arrive? Why didn’t you tell me? How come—“

“It’s a surprise.” my mother said.

LuHan and I turned around and I gawked at my parents. I also noticed how the setting of our house changed.

The dining area was arranged making it look like a candle light dinner date. A huge banner is placed on the wall with words written, ‘Welcome Home, Lu Han.’ Everything was planned. Even my parents were accomplices. I finally realized why they cooked Kung Pao Chicken for dinner, it is LuHan’s favorite.

Also, the reason why they wanted Sehun to bring me home early is because..

“I asked Sehun to bring you out before I arrive.” Luhan said.

I slap his arm and said, “How dare you ask Sehun to bring me out on a date. You know he likes me though.” I pouted.

“It’s because I trust him. And I trust you too.” Luhan replied.

I can't thank Sehun enough of what he has done for me. He's always been there for me. Whenever I needed someone to talk to,

whenever I feel sad, Sehun would be there instantly just to make me smile. Sehun is my best friend. And he loves me.

And I terribly feel sorry because I can never reciprocate Sehun’s feelings. Someday, someone would be there for him just like how he was there for me.

Someone would love Sehun so much just like how he loves me.

I snake my arms around LuHan’s neck while he buries his head to my neck and hug my waist tightly.

“You won’t leave me again, right? You’re staying for good, right?” I subtly pleaded.

“Mhm, I’m staying, for good.” LuHan replied as he brushes my hair.

“Oh God, thank you LuHan.” I hug him tighter this time, not wanting to let go.

Luhan is slowly leaning in and right before he can kiss my lips,

“Aren’t you guys hungry? Don’t let the chicken wait.” my dad calls and we giggled.

“We’re coming!” I hollered.

This time, I tip toed and I slowly brush my lips to LuHan’s.

“Such a tease.” LuHan finally crashes his lips onto mine. Our kiss was slow, gentle; feeling each other’s mouth.

We could feel each other smile while we kiss. We could make babies at that instant but before that happens, I pulled back first, breathless.

LuHan really is breathtaking.

“I love you.” I said.

“No. I love you.” LuHan responded.

I chuckled. He always wanted to be the first to say those 3 words.

"I love you too, my Prince Charming."
