Our friends had set us up, and made us talk over coffee. 

We never talked a lot, we only saw each other because we had the same group of friends. 

Only exchanging a short "Hello" or a "Hi" and a smile.

That's the first time we actually had a proper conversation with other.

Other than the snarky come backs from me, and you had your moments too.

I guess that’s how we flirted with each other, teasing and such.

It was nice, to talk to someone again, happily. After having to move on from someone after a year, I learnt to let go and decided to talk to new people.

You were one of them, I decided on that day onwards that I want to be your friend because I felt happy with you.

You smiled a lot. I liked that. You joked around too, not excessively but just enough.

I guess that's how we started off, I didn't realize how important you'd be.
