There was Luhan again. Walking around the streets without any orientation. Without a destination. Alone. Lost. Without anyone. 

He was starving.

Dying.

Crying.

But that didn't matter to him.

Even if he was skinnier than any human being should,

even if he could die any given second,

even if he could collapse under the weight placed upon his shoulders,

he never even thought about giving up.

He never thought about giving up the search for his one and only love.

It happened one year ago. It was a day like another. Nothing special. 

Yixing had come over again because Luhan insisted.

He never would've thought of regretting having him come over. Never.

As Yixing was about to leave since it got late as usual.

Luhan kissed him as always.

Yixing smiled back as always.

Luhan watched Yixing stop at the traffic light.

He looked back and waved at Luhan.

Luhan smiled and waved back.

The light turned green. 

Luhan was about to go inside because he wouldn't see much of Yixing after he crossed the road.

He was still looking at Yixing's direction but he had stepped back a little.

Then it happened.

I-It was green i know it!

Yixing got hit by a car as he was crossing the road.

Luhan froze in place.

It seemed like his soul had slipped just right out of him.

He wanted to run.

He wanted to run towards him and get him to the hospital.

But instead he stood there, until he fell onto his knees.

People were screaming.

The driver of the car got out and nervously walked back and forth, not knowing what to do.

A young lady called an ambulance.

Sirens were heard not long after.

Yixing was still laying there.

Not moving an inch.

When the ambulance arrived,

They got Yixing.

They took him.

..

And Luhan was still on his knees.

Skin snow-white.

Eyes blank.

Heart ripped out.

He was watching the whole scenery that was playing in front of him.

A single tear broke free from his eye.

The ambulance drove off.

Everything was in silence.

Y-Yixing?

Yixing?

No..

No.. no.. no..

Y-Yixing.. no..

YIXING!

That's how it started.

The moment it all hit him,

he got up from his knees

and started to walk.

He walked around the pool of blood. Yixing's blood.

He knelt down and touched the liquid.

Y-Yixing?

W-Where are you?

A woman tried to help him get up but he shook her hands off.

I-I saw it.. I-It was green.. Y-You.. t-there.. 

The young female covered and started crying just behind Luhan.

Luhan turned around and looked at her.

W-Where is he?

A sob.

Y-You.. Y-You saw it too.. I-It was g-green you saw it..

She nodded shakily.

H-He.. W-Why.. H-He's supposed to cross w-when i-it's green..

S-So w-where did h-he go?

The womans sobs started to get to Luhan's ears.

W-Why are you c-crying?

H-He's ok..

G-Green l-light means i-it's s-safe to c-cross..

Luhan looked right up into the lady's eyes.

I-I know  h-he's there.. h-he's h-home.. 

I-I'll c-call him..

She also fell onto her knees sobbing in front of Luhan.

Meanwhile, Luhan's shaky hands felt around in his pockets, looking for his phone.

When he unlocked the screen, he first looked at the time.

It was 11.48 pm when Yixing left.

It's 12.52 pm now.

64 minutes.

Then he dialled Yixing's number.

He nibbled on his lip as he waited for him to pick up.

'Hello. This is the phone of Zhang Yixing. Your name's Luhan? Are you his friend?'

'B-Boyfriend..'

'We're sorry to tell you..'

No..

'.. he passed away..'

No...

'Time of death was 12.34 pm due to excessive blood loss caused by his blood disorder,'

Hemophilia..

'..hemophilia. Our condolences..'

The phone fell out of Luhan's hand. 

The woman still on her knees.

Luhan's eyes were wide and filled with tears.

He looked at the female again.

I-I'll find him..

he said.

The other couldn't handle it any longer.

She stood up and ran away.

Leaving Luhan alone with all those people staring at him from a distance.

Not long after, he also stood up and began walking.

Y-Yixing?

He called out.

W-Where are you?

P-Please say something.

I-I k-know you're t-there.

The l-light was green I-I saw it!

P-PLEASE SAY SOMETHING!

He started to yell while people were looking at him, shocked.

S-Say something..

A tear dripped down his cheek.

One year after the incident,

Luhan was still the same.

He never talked to anyone ever again.

He never wanted to eat something.

He never wanted to drink something.

He never thought of sleeping.

Every two days though, he went somewhere to eat and drink.

He hadn't found Yixing yet.

He didn't want to die without finding him.

That's the only reason he tried to take care of himself.

Even if he didn't want to.

He fell asleep on the streets sometimes,

starting to wander around immidiately whenever he'd wake up.

He saw a lot of faces.

He didn't know what day it was.

What time it is.

What his friends are doing.

His phone battery died and Luhan couldn't care less about it.
