Entry 12
A Visit from a Slightly Sinister Gentleman CHALLENGE!Continuation of Ann's Horror Entry
Hani, the maid, knocked on the mahogany door twice before letting herself in. "Miss Cyndi, Master Jaejoong is here to see you."
At receiving the wonderful news, Cyndi flipped out of her bed in a very un-lady-like manner... which would have prompt a word or two from Junsu, the butler. But... good thing he was no where in the vicinity.
"Mistress, please restrain your excitement. It is unsightly to flip your dress in such a way."
Or... not. Junsu appeared directly behind Hani like a creepy phantom.
"Junsu..." Cyndi pressed her dress neatly down in front while addressing her butler with the most lady-like voice she could muster. "Will you be shooting more daggers at Jaejoong when he enters? He said you shot daggers at him yesterday."
"I did, mistress... but only with my eyes."
"Like laser beams from god-god-godzilla's eyes?!" She stutters at the very thought of Godzilla shooting laser beams.
Junsu prepared himself, ready to catch her if she closed her eyes, screamed, curled into an ball, and fell over. In that particular order. A solid defense mechanism, to be sure, whenever she is reminded of the horrors of horror movies. Junsu carefully chose his next few words to the best of his ability.
"No, mistress. It is like Care Bears shooting rainbows."
"Oh. Okay." His mistress was too easily persuaded. Useful, at times... but also very troublesome. Especially when the gentleman named Kim Jaejoong was involved.
"Must you see Master Jaejoong today, mistress? You are looking unwell. You have yet to fully recover from yesterday's ordeal."
"No, I am fine, Junsu. He was just helping me overcome my fear of... my fear of... of... you know.... of that." She could not even say it out loud. No cure. No cure for her, whatsoever.
"You need not overcome something so trifling."
"But, Junsu... I wonder... I wonder why I can no longer watch... you know... that. I remember I could... and then... suddenly... I could not anymore."
Junsu's face turned a few shades paler. "There is no reason for you to remember... I mean, it is a trifling matter."
"Is that so? I see."
Junsu breathed a sigh of relief while still maintaining his dignified posture. His mistress did not need to know any about >.>... that.
