The Return of the B*tch

Kim Hee Yeon likes to play with things, especially with human feelings.

She stares at the kneeling woman in front of her. The woman's head is bowed, making it hard for her to see her face. "I'm so sorry, ma'am." The woman says, and Hee Yeon hears the slight edge on her voice. She inwardly smirks, and tilts her head just to mock the woman in front of her.

"And what makes you think I will forgive you?" She says nonchalantly, and instinctively the woman quickly scrambles on her knees and grips her legs.

"Please, madam! Please, don't fire me!" The woman says, her eyes pleading. Hee Yeon still stares at her, uninterested. It makes the woman's eyes tear up. She shakes her head and put her forehead on Hee Yeon's knees, hoping that the popular fashion designer would forgive her.

But when she realises that Hee Yeon is still looking down at her, not budging from her place, the woman finally cracks up. She starts sniffing, thinking of the possibility of getting fired by her boss is as clear as the bright sky when spring comes. The image of her daughter, who is fighting with a weak heart came across her mind, and she has to gulp the sob back, afraid that her boss might get even more mad at her.

Hee Yeon rolls her eyes. This woman really have no experience whatsoever. She must be new in this business. For her, it is a common thing to get yelled at. Fashion designer is a tough job, despite the glamorous whatsoever that people always sees in tv.

She kneels a bit to grab the woman's shoulders. The woman is surprised by the gesture, but she doesn't say anything. She is too afraid to speak, for her boss might get even more mad at her.

"What is your name?" Hee Yeon asks, not trying to hide the annoyance in her voice. Th woman straightens herself, but she still never look at her boss in the eye. This makes Hee Yeon a bit angry, so she tightens the grab on the woman's shoulder.

"Look at me when I'm asking you a question." She hisses, and the woman winces. The woman raises her head slowly, her eyes glancing left and right, afraid that Hee Yeon would start yelling at her. "My... name, i-is..."

"Is what?" Hee Yeon cuts her off, and the woman winces again even though Hee Yeon, basically, doesn't do anything.

"Ji Yeon." The woman finally says her name in a small voice. Hee Yeon is glad that her ears are sharp and she could hear the woman's voice clearly. But still, she isn't satisfied yet, so she raise her voice a bit and says, "what?"

"Ji Yeon." The woman repeats, but this time it is more clearer. Hee Yeon smiles mockingly, and she pats Jiyeon's head.

"Good, Jiyeon," Hee Yeon says and puts down her hand. She sees that Jiyeon eases a bit, and she starts crossing her arms, back to her own posture before.

"Well, I'm still mad at you for staining my client's suits," she starts, and Jiyeon visibly tenses again. Hee Yeon couldn't help but to laugh inwardly. "I'm actually considering to fire you." Jiyeon looks up, and Hee Yeon sees that the tears are coming back. She sighs heavilly. Hee Yeon really hates making people cry, but at the same time, she feels satisfied by just looking at it.

"But," Hee Yeon continues, finally decided to cut the woman some slack. Jiyeon looks up at her: at her nose, eyes, lips and her jet black hair. This woman in front of her is the epitome of perfection. But really, she is not perfect at all. Not with that attitude. "I will forgive you for this one. Since you're new in here."

"I heard from Taeyeon that your daughter is now suffering in the hospital." She says, causing Jiyeon to gape at her. She always hears from other people about how ruthless and sneaky her boss can be, but she never thought that her boss takes care of her employees. She nods her head quickly when Hee Yeon raises her brow.

"Y-yes, ma'am." She stutters. Hee Yeon just smiles, and Jiyeon couldn't figure out if it is sincere or not. Hee Yeon takes out her cheque book and scribbles something on it. Curious, Jiyeon tries to take a peek, but then Hee Yeon finishes whatever she is writing and hands it to Jiyeon.

Jiyeon accepts it, even though she is really confused by the sudden change of attitude. She reads the cheque and almost gasps out loud when she sees the amount of money with Hee Yeon's signature.

"M-ma'am," she stutters. Hee Yeon just raises a brow, making the woman gulps a bit. "I-I t-think this... is too much..." Jiyeon trails when she sees the look on Hee Yeon's face.

"Mrs. Jiyeon, I think that the money is enough for your daughter's treatment," Hee Yeon says, but when Jiyeon starts to argue again, she continues, "Do you want your daughter to get well?"

Jiyeon quickly nods when she hears the question. Hee Yeon smiles, albeit a bit forcefully and reaches for one of the folders.

"You may go now," Hee Yeon mutters, her eyes remaining on the folder. Jiyeon slowly turns around and makes her way towards the white, mahogany door. But before she could touch the doorknob she hears Hee Yeon call her again. Jiyeon turns around again and stares at her.

"This is the last time I let you go. You do that again, I will fire you on the spot." She says seriously, and Jiyeon nods quickly and scrambles out from the door. By the looks of it, Jiyeon is totally afraid just by the thought and Hee Yeon smiles wickedly.

There is a knock not long before Jiyeon went out, and Hee Yeon frowns at that. She wonders if there is anything still pertaining to Jiyeon that isn't solved, so she give an approval to the person who knocked the door. The door opens, revealing a long and wavy platinum haired girl.

Kim Tae Yeon peeks out from the door and gives a cheeky smile. Hee Yeon just roll her eyes, and continues checking the files. So much for the unsolved problem.

"So..." Tae Yeon starts while making her way towards the chair in front of her. "That went well...?" She smiles unsurely. Hee Yeon just forces a smile and then looks down at the files.

"I have no mood to play with her." Hee Yeon mutters, her eyes still on the files, checking the accounts and stocks.

"Is that so?" Tae Yeon hums, and Hee Yeon just replies it with a nod.

"Okay, then. But what about the suits?" Tae Yeon asks, and Hee Yeon groans inwardly because she has totally forgotten about that. Slapping the pen on the table, she threw Tae Yeon a knowing look. Now, Tae Yeon is the one who is groaning in annoyance.

"You know that his manager is a prick-"

"Please." Hee Yeon pleads, except her tone is not pleading at all. Her friend slash secretary-of-some-sort just rolls her eyes before standing up. Hee Yeon just follows her with her eyes.

"You owe me one," Tae Yeon says as she makes her way towards the door. Hee Yeon just replies it with a hum, and when she hears a thud from the door, she glances at it and smirks.

"Whatever."

All of a sudden, her phone rings, turning her attention to her phone. Picking up the iPhone 6 - a present from her beloved one, her eyes brightens when she sees the caller ID. Composing herself, she clears and tries to make her voice sound uninterested.

"Hello?"

"Hey, babe." A hoarse voice said. Her heart rate escalates. She always been like this, even though it is just hearing the sound of his voice. "What's with that tone? I'm hurt you know," the other says, and she can clearly imagine that he is pouting on the other line. She also imagines that his hand would be on his chest, exaggerating the 'I'm hurt' part.

She would sigh happily at the thought of that, if not for the snicker from the other line. Hee Yeon rolls her eyes playfully. If the other is here, in front of her, he will already laugh at her reaction.

"What do you want, Chanyeol?" she says, cutting to the chase. The guy's snickering immediately dies down and is replaced with silence. At first, Hee Yeon barely notices it, but after a few seconds she frowns at her phone.

Before she could say anything, she hears Chanyeol says something that she never expected.

"Are you busy?"

Hee Yeon blinks first, and when the words finally sink in, she laughs heartily and shakes her head.

"Chanyeol... you know that I'm always busy," she replies, emphasizing the words 'always'. Chanyeol exhales, almost like he's sighing. Hee Yeon puts down her pen.

"Why, Chanyeol?" She asks. She would always make time with Chanyeol if there is something wrong.

Chanyeol seems to take a deep breath, and the next thing he said, caught Hee Yeon's breath.

"I'm in Korea right now," Chayeol says. "and I really miss you. So, let's have a lunch, together?"

How can she says no to her one and only fiance; Park Chanyeol?

Do Kyungsoo just wants everything to be perfect. He wants the best for his actor, so when he got a call from someone, saying that the suit they booked since last month ago is already finished, he couldn't help but to let out a huge grin.

But when he hears that the suit got ruined and is in need of fixing, he feels the anger rising inside him. And then, the next second, he barks out, letting out profanities to the other line.

Byun Baekhyun is amused, but at the same time he isn't. With a sigh, he walks towards his manager and quickly snatches away the gadget.

"Sorry. Continue your work," Baekhyun said, and click the red phone button. He left Kyungsoo gaping at his back and reaching for his cup of coffee.

"Baekhyun," Kyungsoo calls after him. "How the hell can you be this calm?" There is panic in his voice, and Baekhyun just rolls his eyes.

"You can't let them go! I mean, I know this is their first time, but they promised that they would give their best on this! Look what happen, now!" Kyungsoo continues to let out a rant. When he sees Baekhyun barely moving from his place, he takes a deep breath before picking out his cell phone.

"I'm going to call the CEO-"

"God, Kyungsoo," Baekhyun cuts him off. "Can you please calm down? The award is just a week from today. It's really not a big deal." He exasperates. Kyungsoo is nice, always treating him like a brother. But sometimes he gets paranoid and it really irks Baekhyun.

Baekhyun curses a bit when suddenly there's a click and the door is opened. The two men looks at the door and sees a woman wearing a striped t-shirt and skinny jeans walks in with a file. She freezes for a few second when she realizes that she's not alone, but smiles awkwardly when she recovered.

"Hello," she bowed. Taking out the file, she walks a bit closer to both of them. "I'm Jung Hye Rin. And I was supposed to meet Do Kyungsoo...?" She stares at them, unsure which one is Kyungsoo.

Something clicks in he back of Kyungsoo's mind. "Ah, yes. You must be the new housekeeper, yeah?" he says, and when he receives a nod, Kyungsoo lets out his heart-shaped smile. Baekhyun just shakes his head. This guy...one second he is mad, and the next he is back to his happy self.

"This is your new housekeeper, Baekhyun. Hye Rin, I think you know Byun Baekhyun, right?" He asks. Hye Rin looks at the guy in front of her and couldn't help but blush. She is in front of one of top stars in Korea, of course she knows him. She nods.

"Good. Now, let me show you his place." Kyungsoo says, and gestures for Hye Rin to walk first. Hye Rin bows her head, making Baekhyun do the same. They walks to the living room, where Baekhyun could see them clearly. He walks to the counter and takes his script. Today, will be just like any other day; full of photoshoot and whatnot.

He walks to his study room, where he gets to read his script with ease.
