Room 442

Description

They were freshmen. They were excited to move in, to start this new life, to live together and to enjoy college to the fullest. What they didn't know was that life there wouldn't be like anything they'd imagined before. What they didn't know was the dark secret of the room next door. Room 442.

Foreword

"We've been dreaming about this ever since we were kids, Kyungsoo! Come on, it's going to be amazing!"

Jongin grinned at his best friend, eyeing the shape of his lips as he slowly smiled, inspecting the glint in his eyes, as he reluctantly nodded.

"I know. Let's do it."

Kyungsoo had always been a kid on the avarage side - good notes, enough friends, loving family and many possibilites.

He had a best friend and that was Kim Jongin. He had known him for years, he loved him like one would love their own brother. Maybe a little bit more. Or maybe a lot.

And exactly Kim Jongin was the reason Kyungsoo decided to actually follow his dreams, for him to choose majoring in music. For him to enroll in the arts college with Jongin, to stick by the dancer's side even here, even now.

And exactly because it was Kim Jongin, Kyungsoo didn't mind sharing that small, tiny room in the old wing of the dormitory.

Jongin had always been a kid who has known what he wanted to do - follow his heart, it was.

And Jongin had always loved dancing, so nothing could stop him when he decided he wanted to continue working on that. Not his parents, not his friends, nobody. He appreciated them for supporting him, but the person he felt most gratitude towards was his best friend - Do Kyungsoo, a short boy with heart shaped lips he'd known for his entire life who was always by his side in every single moment. And Jongin couldn't be happier that he wouldn't lose that support even here, in college. He was always there to support him, but to also remind him that everything had its limits, to keep him thinking rationally.

And exactly Do Kyungsoo was the reason Jongin was so ecstatic to go to college - he'd finally have freedom, he'd finally have the chance to grow up, without fearing that he'd be alone. Because he had Kyungsoo with himself and he was there for him, always.

And exactly because it was Do Kyungsoo, Jongin didn't mind sharing that small, tiny room in the old wing of the dormitory.

In fact, he'd enjoy it quite a lot.

But neither of them knew.

Neither of them had even suspected that something like this could happen, because this never happened in real life.

only happened in movies.

But unfortunately, this was no movie. This was life.

Their life.
