“How can you spill the drink on her bag ah ?” yoon chun the eldest of the workers in the café asked scolding the youngest one min seok,
“hyung, I told you I am sorry, I tripped okay, but I thought she will accept my apology ” min seok said in defense, he was scared himself that he may get fired,
“Which she didn’t.” the elder mocked, min seok nodded sadly accepting the truth and said what her request is
“she needs me to buy her a same new bag worth a fortune” and groaned at the end, and whined
“aish why does she even carry such costly bag outside then ?” yoon chun just shook his head at the youngest and was about to say something when the third person spoke
“ stop whining now min seok ah,and  hyung it already happened so don’t scold him anymore, let’s think how can we settle that soon without letting  her complain to our manager and get us all fired” chang min was also works there said and all the three young men were discussing hard and trying to find a solution on how to arrange the money when someone spoke
“I heard your conversation and also saw what happened with the other lady, if you want I can help you” a tall girl  dressed in most expensive clothes said, for min seok, those were the sweetest thing he heard, beaming he asked
“really ? thank you” but the eldest had doubts, so he asked
“why do you want to help us ?”
“simple, I will get a favor from you too” she stated, she thinks high of herself, chang min thought as he observed the lady talk with two of his friends
“what kind of favor ?” yoon chun asked her
“I want one of you to act as my boyfriend for a few days ?”
“why ?”
“to get back together with my ex by making him jealous”
“why us then ? you look rich while we are not ?” min seok asked,
“it’s just acting, and it has to be someone that my other friends or family doesn’t know” all the three boys mouthed an ‘oh’ and yoon chun asked
“well who do you choose then ?” because he knew if they are going to be out of trouble with that , none of the three will mind doing it, but he have to say she was so hot, so he spoke on behalf of the other two too
“him” the lady said pointing towards her man of choice
“me ?” chang min asked shocked, he thought that she will choose one from yoon chun or min seok since they were the ones who were actively conversing with her, but him
“why me ?” he asked again
“because you are the tallest of the three”
“tall ?” chang min asked confused, does that even count to date ? the lady nodded as she mumbled
‘not as tall as him thought but okay I guess’ which can be clearly heard by others
“say will you or will not you ?” chang min looked at min seok who was pleading with a puppy expression to accept, well he can do this, not like he is interested in her anyways, he has his girl for that, well not his totally, ‘she doesn’t even know you exist’ a voice in his head said which made him sigh, but he cheered as he said to himself ‘she will one day and she will be the one for me, it’s just a matter of time’ and  was imagining how he and her can walk hand in hand talking happily, he was smiling ear to ear oblivious to his surroundings,
“hyung, dream of her again, but now answer” min seok said as he nudged chang min to reality as he knew who he was dreaming of, chang min gritted his teeth at min seok but spoke to the lady
“fine I will act, I’m chang min”
“Victoria, give me your number I will call you” she just demanded him, it’s not a request but an order, since he knew he can’t do anything about her attitude chang min let it slide and gave her his number, she saved it and spoke again
“you will need to come with me for a few days to a wedding”
“okay, when ?” chang min asked and she explained him the details of when and where and after she said everything she left. 
“god save you min ah” yoon chun said mocking the younger indicating the attitude she was with while min seok thanked him saying
“thank you hyung”

the next day was almost same work for chang min, min seok and yoon chun, one managed the counter, one served and one prepared the drinks ordered by the customers, and that is when someone came making an order she mostly made a year ago, Expresso to take and go and left the store making chang min stare in the direction of the retreated figure even after she disappeared, he was brought back to reality by min seok, who observed what happened and also identified who it was. He went towards chang min and patting on his shoulder min seok tried to assure the elder

“she will definitely like you back hyung” min seok assured me and left, he really hopds so to, that she will like him back, she is his cherie amour,  beloved person, it has been almost three years that he first saw her, two and half years to be precise, the first year he didn’t know he will fall so hard for her, he was attracted to her for sure when  first saw her but thought it will be just a crush which changed as time passed by, for a few months she visited the café and will always order and iced tea or Expresso sometimes her friends, or some guy only one visited with her just a few times, but he was handsome and Chang min didn’t like the fact that she hangs out with him, who is he chang min thought every time. After a few months and her sudden disappearance he felt sad for a few weeks , concerned and also worried on what might have happened, but he didn’t knew whom to contact, he thought he should give up but failed, that is when he knew that she made her way into his heart completely and he decided not to give up on her, hoping that one day he will come across her again and he will not fear to talk to her like the last time he did. Last time he decided to speak to her, she was not the same girl he saw a few moments ago, his thoughts drifted back to past

“oppa, why don’t you call unni and celebrate ?” so eun said happily to woo bin,
“should I ?” woo bin said excitedly and dialed his girlfriend’s number and asked her if she could make some time and celebrate, she was  busy at the moment and will not be able to come visit him so woo bin decided he will go visit his girlfriend and told so eun that he will leave, but his eyes didn’t miss the one boy who has been checking his buddy out everytime she visits
“looks like someone here likes you eunnie ah”woo bin said with a mischievous smile
“who ?” she asked and woo bin glanced at the counter, so eun followed her glance too but there were three men talking with their back to her and she can’t see their faces
“who is it oppa ?” she asked curiously but woo bin’s grin only grew wider and she understood that he is going to without even telling who it is, he soon left the café and so eun ordered her drink.
 “your iced tea” chang min said placing her order on her table
“thank you” she replied with a smile and too her drink, ever since the new café started near to her work, it became her favorite spot, whenever she need to think something creatively for her client’s wedding or when she need to meet friends this was the place she mostly choose, she liked that so much that she introduced this place to woo bin too, what she liked here ? she don’t know, for her this a place she can feel comfortable as her home, seeing her lost in thought chang min retreated. But as the figure turned and start to leave her table so eun looked at him and thought ‘is he the guy that guy oppa told about ?’ she wondered, and her phone rang, her father who called her back now unable to take her call earlier, she gave him the news, the client was super happy with all the wedding arrangements and she was praised a lot, it was their first client and she was so happy that she wanted to celebrate with her father and mother, she decided they can have dinner in a nearby restaurant and go home, she took the call, giving him the details she asked him to be there with her mother and hung up.

“min ah, I didn’t think you to be the secret lover type” yoon chun said trying to make fun of his younger friend chang min seeing the way he retreated again from her without speaking anymore
“I am not hyung, I will ask her out” chang min said
“when ?” the youngest came in since he too has been observing changmin staring at her from past few months whenever she arrives but does nothing about it
“soon” chang min said to both his friends and also himself, seeing the confused look on his hyung’s face, min seok decided to a little more, so he spoke
“well hyung, that noona, she looks pretty, if you are going to make any more delays I may become your rival soon”
“you will die soon too then” chang min said coolly as a simple threat though he knew that the younger was only playing a prank on him
“see hyung, he likes her but he doesn’t speak a word at all, I think he fears to talk with ladies”
“no I don’t fear to talk to all ladies” chang min said in his defense and trailed off at the end ‘I just fear to speak to her’
“you fear her hyung, accept it”
“accept it min ah, by the way I too think she is pretty, may be I should break up with my current girlfriend and start dating her” yoon chun said trying to tease further
“dating ?”
“what ? you think we will do the only staring business when we like a girl ?”
“she will not like you back hyung”
“why ?” two voices echoed together
“because she is mine ?” chang min said not knowing if it was and answer or a question to himself
“are you dreaming hyung ?” min seok asked
“how will she be yours when you will not even ask her or at least talk to her ?” yoon chun asked changmin one direct question, hearing that changmin sighed and spoke
“fine, I will ask her out today”the other two boys grinned at one another and looked back at chang min who stood there a little confused, min seok saw so eun leaving the café so he broke changmin from his trance and said
“hyung she is leaving, go follow her”
“what ?”
“fine, yoon hyung, I am going to ask her out then” min seok said too yoon chun and untied his apron and was about to remove it when changmin stopped him by holding his hand and spoke
“I am going” and pulled out his apron and ran out following her. The other two boys grinned happily seeing chang min run behind so eun and yoon chun spoke
“finally he dared to ask”
“if we haven’t pushed, he might have got old just staring at her hyung” min seok replied to yoon chun and the elder nodded in agreement.

she was at the crossing, and the signal was red for pedestrians, so eun stopped to see the car’s going, and “ex…” “excuse me”
“what ?” so eun asked as she turned to face the person who called her, so eun waited for him to speak but chang min didn’t utter a word, wondering she asked him
“hello ? mister? I don’t have time, my parents will be coming, what is it ?”
“are there any public toilets around here ?” he slapped himself in his mind for asking that, public toilet ? what a great way to start a conversation with the girl you like
“what ?” so eun asked confused, she looked around to see there were a few men around them but why did he ask her, seeing the weird look on her face chang min thought he better find something to say and said
“that is. I am new to this city”
“oh, across the street there is one” so eun said and turned away waiting for the signal light to turn green so she can go to the other side where the restaurant is there, she was waiting as she spotted her parents car in the signal in the other lane ‘they arrived here soon’ she thought happily and glanced again at the light, it turned green and people started walking to the other side, as she reached she decided to call her father and called him
“where are you ?”
“I can see you honey” her father said from the other line, see ? from where ? so eun thought as she glanced to all the cars and spotted her parent’s car and her father waving her from inside, smiling she too waved back, as the signal turned green so eun’s father stepped on the gear and drove ahead, but everything was not as what it seemed, there was a truck with failed breaks speeding down the alley from the lane adjacent to the one so eun’s parents were , her father did not concentrate on the continuous honking the truck driver was giving as he was talking to so eun and immediately sped at the green light. As the truck was speeding straight into their car, so eun saw that, instincts took over as she ran not minding the traffic, the truck hit the two cars ahead of it in the same lane and hit her parents car making the car toss over to its side or flip over, the force of hitting three cars made the truck to slow down a little and the driver was able to steer it to a side hitting a pillar making it come to a halt. All the vehicles came to halt, so eun ran to her parents car, her parents were bleeding badly, so eun ran to both the sides trying to open the doors  but no use, soon emergency services came along with a few ambulances and the shifted the injured from her parents car and other cars into the ambulance and started driving into a nearby hospital, her mother
“she is dead miss” the emergency doctor said as he checked the pulse of her mother,
“omma” so eun cried tears flowing down her cheek, her father was breathing heavily and heard that his wife died, he knew  he was dying too , he glanced at his wife who already passed away and at his daughter, he knew what exactly will she be thinking and he will never want that for her
“don’t ” he tried speaking as his breathing got more heavier, just a few seconds he prayed and spoke with difficulty
“don’t  blame yourself honey” before closing his eyes forever.
“abeoji” so eun cried. The patients were shifted to morgue instead of emergency ward and so eun fell there crying as the doors closed and her parents were moved into the morgue. ‘if only I hadn’t asked you to come out’ were the only thoughts that were running through her mind.

chang min went into the store so eun told him not wanting to raise any suspicions, by the time changmin came out from the store, he could see a huge commotion, a crowd gathered and ambulances moving away, when asked some fellow people on what happened, he was told there was an accident with a truck and three cars and everyone were moved to hospital. His eyes searched if he can find so eun anywhere around him but he didn’t find her. ‘where did she go ?’ ‘what happened ?’ were  the only thoughts he had that night. He didn’t knew that it also was the last time he saw her, and after almost disappearing from face of the planet for a year she showed up again a few days back. He was glad he saw her, but not glad how he saw her, her eyes which used to be bright and full of life were now emotionless and she practically looked like a walking zombie.
