Youngjae is shocked to see the man he used to call “handsome and charming” looking so old and worn out, standing in front of him. He looks older than an average man in his 30’s look like. “Is this really him? The Jung Daehyun I knew? What happened?” The thoughts keep puzzling the designer for a moment.
Daehyun runs faster than a wind and hugs Youngjae eagerly the moment he first sees that face. The hug is not a normal kind of hug they used to do before; it’s the warmest, tightest he ever does to his friend whom he has been remembering of for more than a decade.
“Jae... Jae... Where have you been Jae...” Daehyun mumbles while he is still in the arm of the taller latter. Warm tears slowly runs down his cheeks that somehow wets Youngjae’s coat a little. He has been thinking too much of his friend’s whereabouts. Youngjae who is still confused, hugs back and caress the guy’s hair to smooth him down. Deep inside his heart, he, too, misses the other.
“Jae, come on, let’s sit there. We can chat longer!” Daehyun motions Youngjae to the sit beside the window where he sat previously. Youngjae nodded and sit at the place mentioned. Daehyun walks slowly to his bed.
Youngjae noticed that the room isn’t like any typical hospital that he has visited or be in before. Daehyun’s ward is filled with warmth and cheerful elements in it. The curtain is of light yellow. Fresh Baby’s Breath in a clear vase is being put on a table beside the bed. There’s some paintings hanged all around the light blue walls. There’s also some writings written on the walls.
“Dae, why does your room looks so happy unlike other wards? It looks like your old room.”
