Xiumin.
MAMAMinseok was only 7 when he arrived at the palace. The tall women that looked down at him scared him a little, her strong gaze looking at him and penetrating through him. “You'll be safe here,”she would say “No one can make fun of you anymore. “ Minseok didn't understand her words. He had lots of friends back at the mountain tops and no one had made fun of him in the village. But her unwavering gaze made Minseok believe every word she said. When she asked for his hands, she administered a bit of heat and nodded her head when she got the reaction she wanted. Kneeling down closer to him with a kind smile she told him he'll be fine. That he'll live here in peace. When he looked at his parents for reassurance he didn't know what to read in their expressions. It wouldn't be until later when Minseok was a tender 21, would he understand the hurt, hatred and disgust that was his parents faces that day. But for now he didn't know. He's 7, to him this is like summer camp, he'll see his parents again. “Minseok from now on your name will be Xiumin, okay?” An innocent okay. Yes it will be his superhero name. No one will know it's really him. “Mama,” Minseok looked up into her eyes and saw nothing but sincere kindness “you can call me Mama.”
