Seulgi and Irene have been married for almost 4 years now. These past months, all they would be doing every night was fight about stupid things. 

“Can’t you keep your Jealousy at hold! I told you she’s just my friend!”

“Oh wow, so friends sit on each other’s lap now?! Did you see the way she looked at you?!” 

“Why won’t you believe what I’m trying to explain? What happened to trust?”

“You’re one to talk about trust.”

“You know what, I’m done with this” 

That was the last conversation they had since last week. Irene was staying at her mom’s house with their daughter yeri, while seulgi stayed at their unit

When Irene was in the middle giving her daughter a bath, her phone suddenly rang. She tried to reach her phone on top of the counter while holding yeri at the same time

She looked at the caller’s name and was surprised to see it. Nevertheless, she still answered the call

“Hello?”

“Hey Irene….” 

she doesn’t call me baby or hyun-ah anymore. Irene sadly thought

“Hey Seul…”

“Uhm, are you… in the middle of something?”

“Yeah, I was just giving yeri a bath just now. Why?”

“Can you come over? At our unit?” seulgi slowly said

“Let me just finish this. Then we’ll come ov-“

“Please don’t bring yerim” seulgi stated while irene was confused

“Why not?”

“Just…. Please don’t…”

“Alright. I’ll be over there” irene said as she hung up the phone

“Baby?”

“Yes umma?”

“Umma has somewhere to go to. Can you be a good girl and stay with halmeoni for a while?” irene asked the girl

“Can I come with umma?” irene remembered what seulgi told her so she answered

“I’m sorry baby, umma can’t take you with her. How about when you’ll be good, i’ll buy you gummy bears when I get back” irene said as she squished the girl’s cheeks 

“Really umma!?” yeri’s eyes instantly lit up hearing the word ‘gummy bears’. She totally got this from seulgi. Irene shook her head

“Yes baby… Now, lets get you dried up so umma can buy you gummy bears” irene said as she picked yerim up and dried her with a towel

Irene stood in front of Seulgi’s unit, feeling nervous and anxious at the same time. She wiped her sweaty hands on her ripped jeans

She took a deep breath and pressed the doorbell. This is my home too, why am I feeling nervous anyway. She thought

“Just a second!” she could hear seulgi yelling from inside, she inwardly laughed, imagining seulgi panicking to open the door while putting on clothes. She was always like that

“I’m sorry I was just….” seulgi stopped what she was saying when she saw joohyun in front of their unit, wearing a simple black top and ripped jeans, like how seulgi would probably dress

“Hey seul….”

“Hey Irene…. C-come in….” Seulgi said as she let irene inside their unit

“So what do you want to talk about?” irene asked as they both sat on the dining table, facing each other

“I want you to sign this” seulgi pushed the folder towards Irene’s direction

As Irene tried to read the paper’s contents, her eyes were starting to tear up

“Y-you…… Want a Divorce?” she croaked
