It was Saturday evening and Minah felt the fall breeze caress her face as she walked through the park. As she looked at her surroundings, she couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with the feeling of nostalgia. She carried a bag from the convenience store and walked past all the taken benches, hoping her favorite one would be vacant. She made it to the last bench and lucky for her, it was available.

In the bag were two chocolate ice cream bars, she took one out and started eating. She was used to buying two, but time passes and things change. She wished he was there with her, everything would be so much easier with him around. He was her rock, always there to give her strength. And he was her light, he always knew what made her happy and smile all day.

She was eating comfortably until someone sat next to her. She was used to random people sitting next to her, she would usually ignore them. But the cry of hunger coming out of his stomach was distracting. 

They looked at each other and smiled shyly. The guy looked about her age. He was wearing a shirt way too big and baggy sweatpants. She reached in her bag for the other chocolate bar and handed it to him.

"Here," she offered. He looked surprised at the sudden act of kindness.

"I-I can't..." He stuttered.

"Yes, you can. Here."

He hesitated for a bit. He put his hand on his stomach and looked at her in the eyes before taking the chocolate bar. "T-Thanks," he took a bite immediately. He sighed while taking in the wonderful sensation of relieving his hunger, "I didn't realize how hungry I was." When he looked at her, he couldn't help but smile

"You should get actual food to eat."

"I wish I could, but I'm busy." She looked at his lap and saw a spiral notebook.

"Homework?"

"No, I um..." He scratched the back of his neck. "...am writing lyrics," his cheeks turned a light pink.

"You compose? That's so cool! Can I read some?" Her eyes grew twice in size.

"S-sure..." He was sort of taken aback from her enthusiasm. He was expecting a mocking snicker or an awkward silence, but he was pleased to see her eyes sparking with curiosity and innocence.

He usually would say no to anyone who asked, but with those eyes, he just couldn't refuse them. Plus, he didn't want to be rude.

When he handed her his book, she whispered the lyrics under her breath while nodding her head, then smiled.

"This is really good." she said as she looked up at him. He could feel the heat radiate from his cheeks.

"Thanks, I wrote it to go with the beat of Rihanna's song Hard. I remade some parts and created Korean verses," he smiled back. "But I just can't think of a last line." 

She looked at the last line written on the bottom of the page and thought for a while. "How about this?" She took his pencil and wrote down the last line. He read it in his head and smiled.

"Yeah, it's great!" He looked at his notebook with a huge smile. She looked at him smiling, how his teeth were perfectly white, how his cheekbones became more visible when he smiled, she just couldn't look away. "Do you compose as well?" He looked at her suddenly causing her to quickly look at her lap and awkwardly hold her hands together. She didn't want to seem like a creep staring at him and quietly hoped he didn't see. 

"M-my dad used to read poetry to me when I was younger and I write a little from time to time. There was a time when I wanted to compose lyrics, but I was just so terrible at it."

"You should show me sometime, since I let you read my lyrics." 

"S-sure," she hesitated, but thought it was only fair.

"Uh... What was your name?" He knew she never told him her name, but he had no idea how to ask her otherwise.

"Ahn Minah, yours?"

He hesitated. He didn't know whether to tell her the name he used now or his real name. But as he kept thinking about, for some reason he wanted her to know the real him. "I'm Kim Hanbin."
