Kai has been in love once in his entire life, and it was with his best friend. After that disaster, he swore he would never fall in love again. There couldn't possibly be someone out there for a guy like him. How could someone accept him when he couldn't even accept himself? Just thinking about someone falling for him was absolutely preposterous. Him? Finding love? Not likely.
"Please don't run away"
Kyungsoo isn't great at relationships. He falls hard and fast for nearly anyone who'll give him the time of day. After being burned in his last relationship, he can't decide if he needs the perfect rebound or to swear off love forever. He's a strong believer in soul mates, so maybe there's someone out there he's destined to be with. Will he ever find them, though? After all, the world is a big place. Him? Finding the one? It's a possibility.
Foreword
He didn't see the door coming before it smacked him in the face. Kyungsoo wasn't quite sure if it was his head or the door that made a large hollow sound, but he did know that they booming "!" came from his mouth. The man on the other side of the doorway stared at him with a look somewhere between amusement, awe, and terror. It was a strange look, but Kyungsoo figured he looked even stranger with the faces he was making out of pain. As he stood there, holding his head in pain, the other guy just stared on without doing or saying anything. Kyungsoo had at least hoped for something along the lines of "sorry," but it didn't look like he was going to get one.
"Oh, my gosh." The guy finally reacted, lunging forward to grab Kyungsoo's shoulders and look at him closely. "Are you okay? What can I do to make it up to you?"
At this distance, Kyungsoo noticed how great looking the man holding his shoulders was. With that and the pain running though his mind, he didn't think before he said, "give me your phone number."
