Jaebum was one hell of a , and grumpy, oh hella grumpy– so it's no surprise that he spent half, if not all, his free time making snarky remarks as he lazied around at his best friend's flat, monopolizing the slightly younger boy's TV every night. Jaebum was already 21, finely jongling between college and a part-time job at a coffee shop but even so, he feels like his life is dull as .

, yes, maybe that's what is missing so much in Jaebum's life actually; a handsome man his age, full of youth and freedom, was still freaking single ever since Jinyoung met him and oh the two knew each other since toddlers– and Jinyoung's pretty sure that he never once touched another human being's flesh before, well, inexplored lands that is.

Even Jinyoung with the same background as Jaebum, actually dated once in middle school. An adorable girl who smelled of innocence, totally waifu-material you could say so, until Jinyoung dumped her after crushing on her older brother; oh what a sad way to discover your sudden attraction for the other party. Since then he's been admiring boys from afar, too shy to even dare flirting with any of his crushes, not that it bothers him much actually, as he still hasn't met the apple of his eye yet.

No, Jinyoung's actual source of annoyance was something (read: someone) else, that is, his freaking idiot of a best friend currently sprawled all over his couch named Im Jaebum.

If Jinyoung maintened an healthy life without a constant need of getting laid, his best friend couldn't, Jinyoung saw it in the way the elder would snort at some couple's faces at their workplace or each time Kunpimook would blabble nonstop about how beautiful, perfect (and older) his Korean girlfriend was, Jaebum would throw the Thai boy peanuts to shut him up– peanuts he always failed to catch with his mouth by the way.

To be honest, Jaebum and he rarely talked about things like love, relationships, and natural exchanges between two human beings; Jaebum as tough and manly as he tried to appear, always thought it was all girl talk and that as a man, he'll deal with his hormones alone and Jinyoung didn't try stepping over his comfort zone as catching his best friend doing things he'd rather not like to see didn't amuse him, much (It could however prove out to be good blackmailing-material).

His friend being single was one thing, but dealing everyday with his never-ending rambling about how dirty unprotected is was another.

"He should try once and see how it goes, maybe he'd be hooked in no time, who knows." Hyunwoo softly said, and Jinyoung refrained himself from asking the older boy about his own private life, as seeing him once with his face dived in some raven haired pretty boy's collarbone was evidence enough.

So following Hyunwoo's advices, he decided to set up his best friend in a blind date with the (self-called) wildest and iest male of the whole campus.

Jinyoung had already tried arranging dates for Jaebum in high school before, they all failed obviously, not because of Jaebum's difficult personality (ok maybe partly too) but actually because the guy wasn't into s but— . And Jinyoung only understood that when the hottest girls of the school all went back with their head hung low and their blouse still half open.

Jinyoung now hoped that this so called y guy (But he was indeed quite y, Jinyoung had to admit it himself.) could be the solution to Jaebum's problem– if anything, maybe a fling, as long as it could enlighten his best friend's life a little.

Jaebum was watching some rerun of The Simpsons on Jinyoung's TV with a typical (very ugly) frown on his face when the latter plopped down next to him, frown deepening and making his eyes disappear when the younger's generous cheeks smacked the remote away.

"So..." Jinyoung started expectantly. "How's life ?"

The other took his beer in his hands and sipped on the drink nonchalently before answering. "You really wanna talk about this now ?" The answer came out a bit softer than Jinyoung imagined– even though he had specially prepared himself mentally for the worst. Usually Jaebum would snort at him and start lecturing him for no reason but today, he looked a bit empty, almost depressed and the sight made Jinyoung a bit sad to say the least.

Maybe it's finally time for Jinyoung to help him out a little, you know, step his full game up.

"Tomorrow, let's go on a blind date." Jinyoung announced as he opened one beer can for himself.

"Tomorrow ?"

Jinyoung took a sip of his drink before batting his eyelashes for no particular reason. "That's what I said."

"What the –" Jaebum finally diverted his attention from the screen to his friend next to him, "Jinyoung, I already know everything about you there is to know, why the would I want to hold your hand in the dark ?"

"Not with me idiot," Jinyoung then turned to face Jaebum too, "I arranged you a blind date with the hottest guy on earth."

A snort. "Who ? Matt Bomer ?"

"No, I would have kept him for myself if it was him," the younger rolled his eyes, "But he's hot I promise, just come and see for yourself."

"How can I see if he's hot or ugly if they put masks on our face the whole time." Jaebum deadpanned.

"Ughh– just come, tomorrow, 1pm at Plazza, judge later."

Fair to his words (More like Jinyoung didn't let him sleep till noon actually.) Jaebum was standing in front of some Italian restaurant, a few minutes before the clock strikes one. He was hungry, impatient as always and he was starting to regret even agreeing (Did he even say yes to begin with ?) in the first place.

"So, you've come." Jinyoung snickered as he appeared out of nowhere. He was alone and the detail left Jaebum a bit disappointed as he expected to catch a glimpse of his "date" with him, so he could judge whether he was as hot as Jinyoung had declared and then go home, nothing else.

"Obviously, you wouldn't let me live." Jaebum snorted, hands in his jeans pockets.

"As lf you even had a life to begin with."

" off–"

"Alright, come in, your date should arrive any time soon."

Jinyoung left him no room to argue and the elder reluctantly stepped inside the small but cozy restaurant. He watched as Jinyoung engaged a conversation with a waiter before the both of them were led to a back room at the far corner, situated right next to the washroom. Jaebum thought for a minute that Jinyoung had booked them a hot date in the staff's storage but when the waiter opened the door to a dark room lit by candles and a smell of cherry blossom instantly hit his nose, Jaebum's jaw fell a little and Jinyoung couldn't help but mock him. "What ? Thought you'd be sitting on boxes and sipping on detergent, and then a rat wearing a tuxedo would appear and charm you, presenting himself as your 'date' ?"

"You– actually yes, I was expecting some early april fool from you, too bad though, that would have been your best joke so far."

The younger rolled his eyes and simply pushed Jaebum toward a chair on the right. Jaebum then noticed another table fully dressed on his right, hidden by a thin purple curtain that seperated the room in half. "We're not the only ones using the room ?" The elder asked curiously.

"Actually, your handsome date (Jaebum thinks Jinyoung should stop with the compliments.) asked me to join. Who knows, maybe he has a very cute and quiet friend to set up too." Jaebum watched as Jinyoung's eyes curled up with amusement, shining with slyness like those of a fox and he wondered for a minute if Jinyoung knew more than that.

"So... ?" The younger just flashed him a smirk and Jaebum continued. "You're giving a shot too ?"

"Why not ?"

"Might as well go by yourself if you wanted to go that bad, instead of trying to set up your good friend with some random people..." Jaebum mumbled.

"Now that's the fun about blind dates isn't it ?" Jinyoung laughed. "Just thank me later."

"Whatever–"

"Mister," a tiny waitress suddenly popped her head out of the doorframe, interrupting them, "Your guests have arrived."

Jinyoung nodded politely and forced Jaebum down on his seat, he then proceeded to cover the elder's eyes with a mask before Jaebum even got the time to protest. "Sit still, remember what I said yesterday, no swearing nor sweating or he'll never touch your hands again because he'll think you're ing gross."

" you–"

"No you have to keep that line for him later in bed," Jinyoung motherly dropped a big fat sloppy kiss on his best friend's forehead before quickly skipping toward his own table, leaving Jaebum groaning unhappily for multiple reasons. "Good luck!" He said as a last cheer with his thumbs up.

Luck ? What luck ? Pff, that's like something totally foreign to Jaebum.

Mark was feeling ecstatic but also nervous as , occasionally wiping his forehead with his bare arm and Jackson couldn't help but crack up at his bestfriend's actions.

"Oh my god, chill will ya ?" The Hong Kong native laughed as the other groaned and kept walking endlessly in circles. For an always composed, quiet and mature young man like Mark, seeing him being the total opposite of usual was simply pure gold– and Jackson may or may not have stolen a few secrets pics for later.

"Jackson," Mark turned to him after some time but it was apparent on his face that he was still a nervous-wreck, "Why did I accept ?"

Meanwhile Jackson was watching him from his seat, clearly amused by the brunet's inner turmoil. "Actually as a reminder, you didn't, I did it for you."

And it was true. The moment Jackson saw Park Jinyoung walking to him yesterday afternoon at their college coffee shop, the former instantly knew he had totally hit the jackpot.

Unlike Mark and Jackson, Jinyoung was your average student, a bit invisible, in terms of popularity that is, but there was no way any of them could be as good in terms of grades as the younger, who proudly shone among the best students in the sociology department, if not the best students in the whole campus. That was a fact, but Jackson knew better, and Mark even more;

since that raven haired has totally caught the brunet's attention.

Chapter 1: OMG THIS IS EPIC. The famous Mark Tuan from the states looks very cute in front of a certain raven haired boy >< Though I wonder why Jackson rejected Jaebum? I mean, Jaebum is alright... I guess... haha either way as long as Mark and Jinyoung got together everything is perfect. I hope you can write a sequel on how Jinyoung knew Mark (We all know that mark is such a stalker for him).
