Soft scribbles and gentle snores filled the silent living room. Baekhyun was peacefully sleeping on Taeyeon’s sofa and once in a while short yelps could be heard from the snoring Baekhyun. On the other hand, Taeyeon was intensely concentrated onto her coloring book on the coffee table, filling in blank spaces with bright colors bringing the page to life.

Taeyeon was deciding what to color the small little puppy at the bottom of the book when she felt a soft graze against her neck. She turned to see a sleepy Baekhyun peppering her neck with light kisses and gradually began to feel warm arms wrap around her torso. As Baekhyun snuggled his girlfriend, she went back to coloring the little puppy.

Baekhyun couldn’t help but watch Taeyeon as she did her work, looking at the way she quietly hummed to herself while losing herself in the coloring book; to him she looked beautiful and felt incredibly lucky when she decided to become his one and only. Taeyeon then turned to look at her sleepy boyfriend and got a faint shock from the gaze; it was so passionate and full of love. She decided to be daring and swooped to give a peck on Baekhyun’s lips resulting in a tender smile to blossom on his face.

He then began to lean in close and took her breath away as he softly placed his lips on hers, the kiss lasting longer than the previous one as he nibbled on her bottom lip. As they part Baekhyun snuck a last peck leaving both of them breathless.

The tingling sensation spread throughout their bodies and Taeyeon went back to her coloring pencils and water paint in hopes of being able to calm her down. As she was busying herself, an arm reached out for a red coloring pencil and started to scribble at the top right of her page. She was about to scold him for ruining her piece but stopped when she saw the message:

I Love You, Kim Taeyeon <3

the title was inspired by the amount of times I used the word gentle hahahaha
